3.416 ounce can at the Winking Lizard In Copley Ohio. Smell the wheat and yeast. Deep yellow in color with a foamy white head. Tastes sweet with wheat notes. Smooth and light bodied. Easy to drink. Nice beer. Cheers!
3.2Can from Carmine Street Beers, New York. Aroma is wheat, spicy yeast, coriander, citrus, curaçao peel. Moderate sweet, light bitter. Body is medium. Smooth Wit, well-brewed.
3.6Ar: przejrzale banany, kolendra, gozdziki, super intensywnie, rasowo. Wyg: metne, pomaranczowawe, piana gruba, rozne ziarno. Sm: wysycenie wysokie, przejrzale banany, gozdziki, ziolowe tlo, ziarniste i sycace, lekka goryczka skorki pomaranczy, bardzo dobrze, ale dosc ciezko. Pos: gozdziki, jakby ziarnisto-zytnia mini goryczka. Ov: po prostu ale bardzo solidnie.
2.8Honestly may be partial on the rating as White Rascal was recommended, rather than my usual stumbling upon. The beer offers a wheat body you would expect from a Belgian, however only minimal front pallet spice and citrus, leaving you wanting more/unsatisfied. The best way I could describe it would be an average alcohol content with a generic taste reminiscent of Blue Moon without the orange after your third Blue Moon in a row. In absence of other Belgian options it is sufficient, but not one I would seek out on purpose.
3.2Can @ Friends/Grumpy brewer. Appearance: pours hazy golden with good white soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, wheat, bread, coriander, orange peel and fruity notes. palette: medium yeasty and spicy aroma, average carbonation, medium body, medium sweetness, somewhat balanced by a light to medium bitterness, average duration and a watery texture. Overall: refreshing wit
4.3You're getting a lot more fruit than just oranges with this beer. It has a very fruity flavor, with hints of banana on the tongue.
Very low hops, some malt, and all flavor.
This brew is not your typical wheat beer flavor, so if you drink this expecting Blue Moon or Shocktop, you'll be disappointed.
3.5Pours cloudy pale gold with white lace diminishing. The aroma has spicy coriander notes. Taste has the banana notes of a classic wheat beer. Sweet predominantly with a light bitter finish. Palate is medium bodied clammy feel average carbonation and a soft bitter finish. I liked it but I wish American bars served smaller offerings.
3.0Pours hazy bright golden with a full white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus and Belgian yeast. Taste is thin plum, moving to wheat and Belgian yeast. Finish is light citrus.
3.7Zesty with a slight bite
4.6Has a very nice spicy + orange + wheat aroma. This is my second time having this beer and I am I would soon visit this beer again.
3.212 oz can. Smells of coriander and orange. Hazy, straw yellow in color. Tastes of banana, with a hint of orange. More on the sweet side. Finishes with a banana taste. OK beer, but there are better whites out there.
2.95.6%. Ok belgian white. Wont buy again.
3.4On tap at Old Chicago. Pour was hazy straw with good inch thick head that impressively perservered throughout the entire experience. Smooth and creamy with no aftertaste making it a great session brew.
2.9From can pour is hazy yellow with thick white head. Orange and coriander nose which follows through to the pallet. Slightly sweet finish with some carbonation. Not a fan of coriander and cloves so the lower rating is for me. Description is printed on the can but I bought it anyway. Need to start wearing my glasses in the liquor store.
2.7From 12oz can to sniffed. Pour is cloudy yellow, thick white head. Nose is coriander, orange peel, banana, yeast. Taste is light bodied, sweet. Finishes abrupt with a light carbonation.
3.2Can poured into a tumbler on 1/16/19. Yellow gold color and a sudsy white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, coriander, orange. Initial taste is much the same with a little peeper. Aftertaste is a little dry and candy sweet. Medium body and zippy carbonation. Nicely done.
3.1Typical Belgo yeast. Candied oranges, mild coriander. On the sweeter side with a slightly bitter orange rind finish. Nothing great, I would turn a blue moon fan onto this in a second.
3.4Can. Has a hazy yellow colour with an off-white head. Aroma of cilantro, wheat, white bread and some citrus. Malty flavour with wheat and white bread. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. Malty, well-balanced and nice. The cilantro is really distinct through the whole experience.
3.2Slightly cloudy straw colored beer with a medium foamy bright white head. Nose of bitter orange, wheat, and herbs. Flavor is classic WIT with light wheat, orange, and coriander finishing with a slight sugary sweetness. With medium carbonation, this is an easy drinking beer, but the sweetness outstays its welcome after a few sips. Decent.
3.7Lemon-gold and cloudy with a thick, pillowy head. Nose is peppery with some clove and banana. Light and mild with a bubblegum, banana, somewhat spicy finish.
4.3Not too sweet, crisp. very good. Stacey says she doesn't like it, but that could just be the Weinstephaner talking.
4.1Appearance: cloudy amber; slight head
Taste: similar to Blue Moon with a hint off spice
4/29/18 - Revolucion (Lake View) $7
3.7Pours pale gold from the can. Hazy. White frothy head, a bit of lacing. Aroma is a mix of aloe vera, pineapple, spices—mostly clove. Taste is sweet, spicy with mild pineapple and coconut undertones. Body stays fairly light, a bit watery at the end. Overall pleasant drinking without a lot of alcohol. Good for a warm day.
4.3This is one of the better beers not just in this category but of any beer I've had in my experience. However if you want a great tasting White Belgian this will rock you!
3.7On tap at Harry's Hofbrau in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is hay, perfume, coriander, floral, yeasty things. Taste is clean, crisp, floral, mild but balancing sweetness. Solid.
3.4Had on tap. Pale golden color with a medium head to it, kind of hazy. Aroma of orange & spice. Taste is a traditional Belgian wheat beer.
