Ayinger Bairisch Pils

Ayinger Bairisch Pils

The Bavarian brewers have been masters in their trade for centuries and therefore also brew excellent pils beers. Indeed it was a Bavarian master brewer that brewed the first beer according to the pilsner method in the town of Pilsen! The glimmering, light-yellow Ayinger Bairisch Pils has the fragrance of aromatic hops from the “Hallertau” region of Bavaria (only these are used in the Ayinger beer specialties!). The beer is highly fermented and therefore smooth on the initial taste sensation, but also mild and sparkling in body. Our pils is accentuated by the floweriness of the hops aroma and has a more pronounced bitterness on swallowing, which quickly fades from the taste buds. 11.8°

3.7 Bottle. Just misted pale gold with an inch of white head. Aroma of hay, light bread, a little honey, mild spices. So it tastes. Leanish with light bread & a little honey, firmly bitter and spicy at the end. A little bit bold where so many are meek. Good.
3.2 330 ml bottle from Downtown Produce. Pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a white head and very good retention. Decent lacing. Light malt aroma. Tastes like a mix of Euro lager and pilsner with some soft bitterness in the finish. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Light bitterness. Well made, but a little too much Euro taste for my palate.
2.9 Pours golden with a massive white head. Aroma is malty, sweet, honey and fresh hops. Nothing special but standard combination for a lager/pilsener. No sour notes present. Taste is mild, medium body with a very nice transition from an upfront seeetness to a backend fresh and dry finish. A ver very good pilsener beer!
3.3 Draft at German American Society Oktoberfest. Poured clear golden, white head. Aroma of hay, hops, grass, bread. Taste was bittersweet, grain, bread, hops.
4.1 I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste crisp, light, floral. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.
3.9 Flaska från Craftbeershop. Klar ljust gyllengul vätska med medelhögt vitt skum. Doft av säd och honung. Medeltorr, mjuk och len munkänsla. Blommig humle, säd, bröd, honung, lätt höig beska. Snygg stiltypisk sydtysk pilsner. Mycket gott.
3.5 Tap (Szynkarnia, Wrocław) Klarowne bez piany. W aromacie i smaku klasyczny pils, choć jest trochę słodszy niż się spodziewałem. Niemniej zły nie jest
3.5 Clear golden color with frothy white head. Hay, malt, grass aromas. Moderate bitterness. Average body, medium carbonation.

4.3 Poured from 330ml bottle into pint glass. Thick, pillowy white head, abundant lacing. Hazy straw color. Mild aroma of grain and a hint of hops. Mouthfeel is light with a dry finish. Flavor of fruit, grain, biscuit, grassy hops. Overall: well balanced and delicious.
4.4 Appearance: golden amber; 1” head Taste: malty; slight hoppy after taste 3/25/22 - Riganato (St. Charles) bottle $8
3.6 Bottled, 330ml from Kay Gee's Off Licence, Didcot, Oxon. Lightly hazed gold with white head. All that you expect from a Pils is in here, crisp, slightly fuller malty body, slightly drying cereal notes, some bread-crust, some fragrant hay like notes. Easy on the palate. It's a very decent example.
3.4 Clear golden, creamy lasting white head. Aroma of citrus and malt. Malt driven taste, not very bitter, a bit over average pilsner. With ch at mysterud.
3.5 Crisp noble hops and some boiled barley. Golden pour with decent head. Good package overall, easy drinking. Crisp finish with a little bitterness. Bottle.
2.1 My bottle says barvarian pils so I'm not sure if this is the right place. But now I see Bairisch means barvarian, so be it. I thought I rated this before but I guess not. Its got an ever so slight haze. Taste certainly is the real pilz of the old country, medium sharp bitter, but not bitter like the hops of pale ale more like the hops of halertau. Noble, yet not too noble, its actually a little uncivilized in its attitude. I'm drinken it but its not quite as refreshing as I'd like it to be.
2.6 A "Bairisch pils". The aroma has a distinct smell, a tad soapy, like dish soap. Appearance wise it looks like, well, a pilsner. Perhaps a tiny bit darker. Taste wise, it has a shy acidic characteristic. However, the soapy aroma returns with the after taste upon swallowing. Mouthfeel: Gently massages the tongue with a fizzy experience, though it is not overwhelming.
3.4 Klare gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfig grasiger, malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich grasig hopfig, malzig. Leicht süß mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
3.8 Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a slightly hazy light golden/straw colour with a large fluffy white head. Aromas of grains, hay, grass, bread with a little peppery spice and a hint of floral. Taste is toasty grains, hay and more peppery spice with a little bit of honey and a touch herbal. A mild grassy and also slightly floral finish. Medium to full body, low carbonation and very smooth mouthfeel. Nice beer and a unique style of Pils.
3.8 Fresh hops in the aroma with a signs of floral notes and significant malty base. Taste is semi dryish with a rustic dry hints, bread, light hay. Refreshing and classy.
3.5 Bottle at Red River trailer park. Clear golden pour with white sheen. Nice light fruit, herbal, white bread aromas. Malty smooth dusty white bread , herbal flavors —- easy clean finish __\ tasty pils
3.9 Optisch gut goldgelb.
3.8 Bottle from Hops and Crafts Exeter. Pours clear light lemon with a big white head. Aroma of lemon zest, hay and bread. Taste of more lemon, hay , bread and some spicy pepper. Lightish bodied with a full smooth mouthfeel & ok carbonation. The finish is slightly dry and bittersweet with more spicy pepper, lemon, hay and bread. Easy drinking!
3.4 Draft pour to a mug at Hop and Hound Oktoberfest 2021. Most clean golden appearance with a rocky mousse foam head. Really nice hop quality to this pils. Bready malts balance well. Thicker body than your average brew within the style. Somewhat waxy finish. Overall a smooth taste though. Good brew.
3.4 Clear golden color with medium off-white head. Aroma has caramel, grass, floral hops and malt. Taste is malty sweet with long bitter and dry aftertaste. Flavors of caramel, grass, floral hops and malt.
3.4 Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up from a shop downtown, that German beer and sausage place. Pours totally clear yellow with a frothy, pure white head. Lightly sweet, some crispy cereal, a little grass, nips of paper, straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish, further bitter straw, grass, cereal, faint biscuity notes. Drinks fine.
3.7 Pours clear yellow into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Sourdough and hay aromas. Soft with sweet hay and earthy pith and peel front to back. Lasting, dry, bitter apple finish.

3.2 330 ml bottle. Pours light golden with a big fluffy head. Grassy hoppy notes, slightly metallic, light hay and citrus. Hoppy bitterness, slightly sweet. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry metallic bitter finish. Nice crisp Pilsner.
3.6 11.2 green bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass at Lunar Brewing Co. showing a clear, golden tone, with a presentable layer of white froth, and a wavy display of spots & strands to the lacing. The nose was malt & straw, Pils scent, and subtle dried fruit & lemon peel. Medium bodied, the taste was similar notes, with decent carbonation, and moderate earthy & grassy bitterness. Fairly clean & crisp refreshment.
