Ayinger Kellerbier

Ayinger Kellerbier

This nostalgic beer specialty, which can be confidently ranked among the traditional old Bavarian beers, is brewed in commemoration of the good old times and in honor of the brewery’s founder, Johann Liebhard. The special feature of the “Kellerbier” is the fine yeasty cloudiness and the pleasantly bitter taste. As it is bottled unfiltered, many of the natural protein, yeast and hop elements remain contained in the beer. It consequently retains its original character and the beer connoisseur can appreciate the fullness of taste that this very drinkable beer offers. Furthermore, the vitamin and mineral-rich yeast also provides a significant contribution to the nutritional requirements of good health. 11.8°

4.4 Honning farget, medium kullsyre kornsmak, søt smak uklar
3.3 Big bottle, drunk at home on a windy August evening. Cloudy yellow straw, some head and lacing. Light aromas of oats, grass, soft bready malt and hints of fruity yeast. In the mouth, smoothly frothy carbonation throughout, soft complex flavours similar to the aromas, some sweet and dry in the texture with a finish that layers a touch of warm bitterness to keep it clean. Old school done pretty close to perfection.
3.7 Draught at Station Linné Hazy, pale golden with a medium head. Sweetish, grainy, fruity with a light to medium bitterness.
3.3 Light hazy blond colour, white foam. Light sweetish, some bready and caramel notes, light bitter. Easy drinkable. A bit watery.
3.3 Botella 500ml Dorada, clara, espuma blanca, fina, alta, resistente. Aroma malta, cereales, herbal, floral. Sabor domina dulzor, casi sin amargor, malta, miel, herbal, floral. Buena
W amaku chlebowe, nieco słodowości, pełne i średnio wysycone. Pyszka
3.3 500ml bottle delivered from Beers of Europe and drunk at home. Golden yellow, a little bit hazy with a thin uneven white head. Light aroma, rich bread yeast with clover honey. Balanced taste, mostly sweet at first with peppery hops in the drying finish. More bready character in the aftertaste. A good beer for a style I like, but it doesn't engage me quite enough.
3.6 Golden slightly hazy Kellerbier with a slight fizz. Sweet initial taste with slight bitterness at the end
3.4 Bottle at home. Pours golden color, white head. Aroma of malt, grain. taste is medium sweet, medium bitter, malty, grainy.
3.6 Bottle Aroma-grass Appearance-golden, hazy, white head Taste-light bitterness, sourness, sweetness Palate-medium body, sticky, average carbonation, long finish Overall-very good
3.6 50cl bottle i got from Gradi Plato, beer shop @Rome. Hazy golden with medium, quick to disappear white head. Sweet malt, flowers/grass, and strong honey aroma. Taste of malt, butter, hay, yeast, touch of lemon and grassy hops finish, you can really taste them. Slightly less sweet of the Ayinger Hell if i'm not mistaken but very similar taste, light beer easy to drink and low carbonation. Fantastic taste, great kellerbier /unfiltered helles very delicious and easy to drink.
3.3 Hazy golden color without head. Grass and grain aroma. Quite refreshing and easygoing.
3.4 Fles 50cl thuis. Maltig, süffig, diacetyl, licht kruidig, bittertonen, beetje zompig, hoptonen. (22-1-2021).
3.8 Złociste lekko zamglone piwo z obfitą, barankową pianą. Aromat głównie nuty łąki, kwiatów w tle biszkopciki. W smaku rześkie, orzeźwiające delikatna goryczka przełamana równie delikatną kwaskowatością, lekko drożdżowe
3.3 Pours hazy golden with a medium head. Aroma of malts and pine needles. Taste of malt, butter. Light sweet. Low carbonation, light bitter and sweet aftertaste.
3.4 Bottle from Csakajo. Pours opaque golden with quickly disappearing white head. Nose is sweetish malts, honey, some estery yeast character, light grassy noble hops. Taste is hay and bread, some honey perhaps. There’s a faint hint of bitterness in the finish. Light bodied with soft to average carbo, easy to drink.
3.2 Boca 0,5L - kupljena u Kauflandu - skroz OK keller, dosta svjetle boje za stil, pitak, lagan, pomalo slatkast
3.6 0,5 l Aroma cvjetnog meda i slada, svijetlo žuta mutna boja, slaba pjena... okus vrlo dobar, veoma pitak, slatkast, a opet i malo gorak... dosta dobro pivo, sviđa mi se...
3.2 Nagyon kellemes, enyhén citrusos illatvilág. Könnyed sör, ízében sokkal inkább a maláta dominál. Frissitő.
3.3 Draught at The Exmouth Arms, Finsbury, London. Gold with white head. There is an estery, yeasty character to this from the off, banana, pear drops. It's quite clean on the palate, malt forward, biscuity sweet. It's fine.
3.3 500ml bottle (Alus Celle, Riga). Clear golden color. Malty, herbal, caramel, shy hops in aroma/taste.
3.1 0,5 l Flasche. Strohfarbenes, trübes Bier, stabiler, flacher Schaum. Riecht malzig, schmeckt würzig, malzig. Sehr hell für ein Kellerbier.
3.3 Rocky white head stayed on an unclear pale gold body with particulate. Malt & sweet fruit aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & clean with a dry aft. Fruity, banana, grain, sweet & light malt tastes. Nice & refreshing.
3.5 Barwa złota, klarowna. Piwo przykrywa, biała, wysoka, o średnio długim czasie redukcji piana. Średnio pęcherzykowa, nie wygląda zbyt imponująco. Aromat intensywnie słodowy z lekkimi nutami drożdżowymi i ziemistymi.
3.9 Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Pours a very slightly hazy light amber/ straw colour with a medium sized white head. Lighter and less hazy appearance than other keller beers i have tried. Aromas of cereals, hay, straw, grass and white bread. Taste has more notes of cereals, hay, straw, white bread, faint honey and lemon. Medium to full bodied with a very smooth buttery like mouthfeel. Very good and slightly different keller.
