4.1 Great, classic beer. Slightly hazy, amber color. Huge, white head. Wheat malt, dried fruits, caramel, banana, clove in the aroma. Malty, moderately sweet taste .
4.3 Another classic I tend to have regularly but somehow have forgotten to rate. Body is unclear orange golden under a big, foamy, long lasting off-white head. Nice and fresh aroma with malt, mild toffee, citric fruit, banana, yeast and a bit floral. Taste is sweet malt and wheat, still very refreshing with citric fruit, banana, yeast and balanced mild bitterness, hint of toffee. Body is balanced as well, with a long lasting pleasant aftertaste. Nice, taste and smooth world classic. A beer that may both work fine as a refreshing thirst quencher as a god match for food.
3.7 (Bottle) Cloudy brownish amber colour with frothy off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with bread, banana, wheat, clove, honey and some coriander. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of bread, wheat, banana, coriander, butterscotch and clove. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Low bitterness. Tasty and well made weizenbock. Very nice.
4.2 Date code: L0224, or August 11, 2020. Shamefully old for this beer to still be on the shelf and my (formerly) well-respected store. I don't have a chance to check dates, since I use their curb-side delivery, but they'll hear from me about this one. It was at the 18 month mark when I bought it. I seriously doubt the brewer places a 18 month best by on their wheat beers. Heffe-like cloudy haze, an amber-orange body, with a generous amount of rising bubbles to a towering white head that is thick and creamy-looking. As it slowly recedes, it develops an uneven, pitted, rocky surface with a sheet of lacing trailing. The aroma presents wheat, bread, and banana; again, hefe-like. The flavor repeats the aspects from the aroma and adds a spiciness to it. (Which when I re-visit the aroma, I now pick up faint clove.) In the middle, a rich and complex fruitiness begins, which carries through to the end. Pome (core) fruits (apple, pear) which interweave with the banana and spices present a rich and complex mix. All of this supported by the fresh-baked breadiness. No bitterness whatsoever. The finish is rich, a bit coating of my mouth, but still on the dry side. The body is moderate and creamy, smooth feel. Overall, an excellent wheat bock. I highly recommend it.
4.0 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.1%. Moderately hazy golden to pale brown colour, moderate to small white head. Strong aroma of over-ripe bananas, also notes of yeast and cloves. Nice wheaty flavour with citrus, banana and cloves. Very refreshing for its strength. Might well buy again.
4.3 Cloudy orange in colour. Smell is yeasty, bubblegum and slightly creamy. Taste is yeasty, fruitiness, banana with slight bubblegum and creamy backbone. Reminds me of a more flavoursome wheat beer!
3.5 Samean oranssinen lasissa. Tuoksussa on enemmälti banaania, mallasta ja yrttisyyttä. Suutuntuma on keskitasoltaan hapotettu. Mausta löytyy edelleen banaania ja yrttisyyttä. Alkoholi tuntuu myös hieman maussa. Vehnäolut on usein aika yksioikoinen.
3.2 Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a cloudy orange colour with a large thick throthy white head. Aromas of bananas and cloves with a hint of bubblegum and peppery spice. Taste has more of the same notes from the aroma with a big cloyingly sweet syrupy finish. Thin to medium body, low carbonation and oily slightly sticky mouthfeel. This beer is way too sweet for my liking, i am not liking the syrupy finish at all. My least favourite beer so far from an otherwise excellent brewery. Of course this is just my personal opinion others may love this beer.
4.4 Fles 33cl thuis. Zacht, banaan, yeasty, zoet, kruidnagel, malten, redelijk vol van smaak, hefe, ver weg klein zuurtje, overrijp fruit. (12-12-2021).
3.5 blonde un peu sucree
4.4 Banana custard in nose with some floral and grassy notes. Banana nut bread-like flavor with a very slight hop bitterness rounding this beer on the finish. Very smooth and easy drinking with a little alcohol on detected, but it's well-hidden, I think. You could get in trouble with this one. It definitely has sticky texture in the mouth. I am big time fan of this style of beer and if you too, you owe it to yourself to give this one a look.
4.0 Bottle pours out hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice spice some wheat banana notes yeast. Taste is more of the nice grain wheat banana spice.
3.8 Malty fruitiness, soft and slightly creamy with sweetness of corn, clove, coriander and a bitter touch
3.7 Aroma; sweet wheat malts, coriander, clove, banana, syrupy mash, sweet caramel fudges. Look; off white tall head, dots n spots lacing, unclear deep golden body. Taste; sweet wheat malts, coriander, clove, banana, syrupy mash, sweet caramel , and finishes malted with banana notes. Feel; fruity good body, and normal co². Overall; good n juicy weizen. [bottle 50cl abv7%, B@PL, Zamosc Lublin Białystok, T@ PiwotekaH7].
WIrklich empfehlenswert.
4.4 Zamglone jasnożółte piwo z ładną białą pianą. Aromat bananów, trochę przypraw, winogron. W smaku podobnie, delikatne mega pijalne. Chyba najlepszy weizenbock jaki piłem.
3.8 0.33 l bottle at Valhalla Craft Beer Bar, Zagreb. Shared with Fixo. Clear golden, small lasting off-white head. Aroma begins with heavy banana and malts with some caramel, ends with sourdough and cloves. Flavour is bubblegum, malts and ripe banana. Alcohol hidden, smooth, strong, sweet, sticky, finishes slightly sweet.
3.6 0,33l bottle from Edeka in München, drinking it on 17/07/2021 BB 11.21 Pours dark hazy gold with large, long lasting slightly off-white foam on top and good enough lacing. Aroma of wheat, cloves, yeast, quite fruity (banana, peach) and floral. Taste is sweet with wheat and lots of fruit flavours, banana citrus and spices, a bit juicy and more sweet than sour. Really smooth and thick body, moderate carbonation. Finish is sweet. Enjoyed but not much bitterness here, otherwise quite good and warm.
3.8 Hazy golden with an off-white head. Malty aroma, banana. Rich banana flavour, accompanied by a savory blend of grain, a mild bitterness and a light booze.
4.2 Hazy golden colour, creamy foam. Lots of banana, wheat, sweet fruitiness. Well balanced.
4.2 330ml bottle brewed in Germany at 7.1%. Hazy orange juice meets lemon curd with a very generous, longlasting head. Creamy clove and banana alongside vibrant orange zest in the aroma, straightforward yet very well-judged, opening up into a little wheat rusk. Lowish carbonation, thick body, nice drying clove spice in the finish without too much darkness in the flavour profile. Orange zest, peach, creamy tangerine and banana, a little brown bread and wheat rusk. Possibly a little straightforward; don't expect anything particularly unusual here, but every box is ticked firmly and the balance of flavours is absolutely on point. Initially sweet and then dry without overdoing either. For drinking pleasure I might have to give this the nod over Weihenstephaner's Vitus, although that brew might impress the palate more.
4.2 Piękny wygląd - wspaniała piana! W zapachu pieczywo, słód, banany. W smaku silne, bardzo przyjemne banany, miękka słodowo-chlebowa baza. Słodkie i pyszne. Smak łagodny, ale czuć, że to piwo mocne.
3.7 Solid wheat beer, though without any surprises. The smell is mostly banana and some tropical fruit with a very smooth, almost creamy taste.
3.3 Weinzenbock
3.6 Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It hazy yellow/orange gold with a thick, frothy off-white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, foamy banana, wheat, honeyed cereal, hay, marmalade and nougat. The taste is initially bitter - sweet, quite soft, sticky, ripe banana, foamy banana candy, banana split, doughy bread, tangy orange marmalade, spice, hay and cereal with a dry, orangey finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Hides the abv very well for sure. Perhaps a touch sweet for my personal preference, but it comes together really well.
3.8 Iz MAS Plenuma Rijeka. Banana & Spice Turbo Injection ! Moćno pivo ! Like !!
4.5 Bottle. Poured cloudy dark golden with a white head. Aroma of ripe banana, clove, spice, wheat, dough/bready. Taste was medium sweet, bubblegum and more bubblegum, banana, yeast. Nice. Great flavor.
