Lätt beska i avslutningen. En bitter i mängden.
2.733 cl bottle from systembolaget. pours golden with little head. Sweet caramel aroma with malty taste.
3.5Hearbal tea-y aroma with a bit of zest. Nice biscuity taste with a medium round bitterness.
3.9500ml bottle, savored straight out from the bottle. Toffee, herbs, orange zest. Overall sweet & fruity, full bodied especially considering the low abv.
4.3tastes very roasty. strong alcohol taste. liquid looks black. beer has minimal head. beer is very bitter but in a good way. This makes you pee like we say in finland kusettaa kun palokunnan ruunaa.
3.1Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter røde bær, honning, tung karamell og noe vanilje. Lett. Smaker karamell, middels bitter sitrusskall og noe vanilje. Middels lang.
3.3Bottle:
Pours clear, deep copper with a thick head. Aroma is lots of butter with hops and grass in the background. Watery mouth feel. Taste is butter, fudge, licorice and hops.
Goes down easy.
3.3Bottle from SB. Golden with a medium white head. Malty and hoppy tones. Malt, fruit, toast and hops. Medium to light body with a long bitter / malty finish.
3.0500ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear dark amber, medium size white head, good lacing. Sweet malty aroma, caramel, nuts, grass and herbs. Light and watery mouthfeel.Grainy taste, grassy, biscuits, toasted malt, herbs and hints of citrus. Dry finish with mild bitterness.
3.0@ Havregatan 20170614. Bottle (500 ml) from Systembolaget. Malty and quite sweet with light fruity and light caramely notes, light to medium body with an oily texture. The finish is bitter.
2.6Very nice look, foamy and dark copper. Aroma is very grassy, somewhat sharp like citrus, and also wet paper. Taste is hoppy, semi-sweet, and full of herbs.
3.3Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear deep golden, medium white head. Bready malt, floral hops, some spicy notes. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry, medium bitterness.
3.0Bottle 50cl, a clear golden beer with medium head. Nose is on resin like hops and hay. Aroma is on toasted caramel, mainly dry, hop resin, light honey notes, floral, hay. Body is like a classic bitter, some bitterness that remains on aftertaste, no robust but not unpleasant.
3.0Bottled from Systembolaget
Deep golden with a white head.
Light, Fruity aroma with notes of toffee.
A lot of toffee in the flavour.
Grassy hoppiness.
3.02016 update - Bottle at home - Nice, easy drinking bitter, but nothing special. Nothing sticks in the mind
3.2Bottle. Dark Amber in colour. Hoppy; floral and spicy hops. Fruity; orange-citrus. Malty; toasted malts. Mildly bitter hoppy throughout. Tasty. Liked this. Nice beer! (2009-02)
2.7500ml bottle. Poured amber with medium cream head. Malt wins over hops in the aroma. Taste again from the malt not hops. Pleasant to drink.
3.0Pours a light brown colour. Taste is light and malty. Nothing special and easy drinking
2.5500 ml bottle bought at Market Place by Jason’s in iSquare, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Clear bronze colour; One and a half finger head with crumpety off-white foam which last for 3 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing and fizzy carbonation; Fragrant aroma of Ale malt, with strong toffee, caramel, orange, floral, sugar, spices, bread, light lemon and grass; Close to light sweet taste of light Ale malt, with light caramel, light floral, molasses notes, light spices, dry bread, thin lemon, fair bitter hops and light grass; Mid to light body. Slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is light Ale maltymess in a slightly watery background. Tastes are pretty muted and light, be that caramel, floral, spices and hops. Very low sweetness with thin lemon to round. Easy but boring… Hoppiness is orange, floral, spices, light lemon and grass in nose; Light floral, light spices, thin lemon and light grass in taste; Bitterness is very light for an abrupt, low astringent light caramel finish; Fairly dry after taste. Easy and light bitter to mouth.
Comments: Its has nice looks and head, with nice aroma of sweet toffee and orange hops were promising, but its tastes were too lightweight to matter, just an easy but forgettable Bitter for pubs and washing down fast food.
3.2500ml bottle. Pours copper coloured with medium sized white head. Earthy, dark fruits, malts, caramel. Simple and good.
3.5010616. Bottle from Copper & Oak Liquor Merchants. This is a single hop beer that looks like a good old fashioned English pub ale. Burnt copper colour with a steady head of foam and an aroma that is a bit toffeeish. At only 4% ABV and with a reasonably okay flavour you could possibly down a few of these easily enough. Smooth and almost creamy texture in the mouth
2.8500ml bottle in Badger multi pack from Sainsbury’s. Aroma more malty than hoppy with cooked vegetables, bread and sawdust. Pours rich mid brown with decent head. Not a particularly interesting drink. I seem to remember having a pint of this in a pub last year that was much hoppier and tasty.
2.9Bottle at home. Subtly hopped. Light bitter taste. Thin body and mild finish. A bit dull.
2.1Malty aroma with hints of toast and nuts. Golden and clear, very little head. No particular taste, very short. This is a rather dull beer.
3.4En god tør øl med en smag af noget træagtigt, den gode humlesmag (god hvis man kan lide den ), varer ved et godt stykke tid efter sidste slurk. Skal efter min mening ikke drikkes for varm, da den mister noget af sin gode humlesmag
