3.3 Ruby apricot color, low head and lacing. Orange citrus, wheat, toffee, cereal. $9.99/multi sixer 12oz can at Binny's, River Forest, IL
3.8 Medium gold, thin but steady white head. Nose is spruce. Bitter. Middle is medium kilned malt, marmalade, a burst of floral fruitiness. Finish is evenly bitter with a great depth for the ABV.
3.6 Draught at the taproom in Little Italy, San Diego. Clear amber colored with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of hops and pine needles with notes of citrus. Fruity flavor of hops, pine needles and grapefruits. Dry hoppy finish.
3.6 355ml can. Pours a pale straw gold. Aroma: Citrus, malt, herbal notes. Pleasant. Taste: Citrus, pine, biscuity malt, grapefruit flavours. Moderate carbonation. Mild bitterness. Easy drinking. Very good for a session IPA.
3.1 Can - pours dark amber with a big white head. Aroma is caramel, peach and citrus. Taste is big hop hit up front with caramel then a ling dry finish.
3.6 Large head deep gold pour strong carbonation aromas grapefruit lemon herb orange the flavours lemon orange grapefruit herb note strong good bitter taste has a decent flavour for a low alcohol beer sweet spicy like touch good at the finish.
3.1 355 ml can, from a trade with Cunningham. ABV is 3.8%. Deep golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of pine, dust and grapefruit. Dry flavour, with distinct piney and grapefruity hops throughout. Bitter finish.
3.3 Aroma of spice and blood orange. Deliciously spicy hop flavour with bitter curacao aftertaste. The flavour belies the alcohol content.
3.3 Pleasant tropical fruit aroma. Very hoppy but lacks a backbone that the alcohol would give. Pleasant but a bit thin. Very bitter and grapefruity
3.5 Can on the golf course. Citrusy, flavorful, nicely bitter, but smooth and light. Perfect IPA for golf!
3.5 355mL can from Dan Murphys. BB 12/2017 Clean orange-gold body, white foam atop. Good punchy hop nose; lime, grapefruit, melon, passionfruit, caramel & toasty malt. Medium weight, excellent mouthfeel for a mid-strength, drops away slightly on the finish. Flavours pop - toasty malt with pale caramel sweetness, stacks of hop notes of pine, grass, citrus & unripe tropical fruits with a good whack of bitterness to finish. Very good mid-strength brew!
3.6 For a session ale, this beer is actually pretty good. It pours orange with a lot of foam. The aroma is citrus and grassy/floral hops. The flavor is actually ... well, there. You can taste it. There isn’t a lot on the front, but the finish is a pretty drinkable mix of malt and hops. Most session ales close like water. This one closes like beer. Hell, it actually tastes like an IPA. I like it.
4.0 On tap at Ballast Point Little Italy. Pours a clear golden-amber color with a stable white head. Lots of pine and grapefruit in the aroma with a bit of sweetness. Loads of piney resinous hops with grapefruit and mango flavors. Some malty sweetness. Medium-light bodied with good carbonation. Dry finish. This is a low-alcohol beer with a surprising amount of flavor. Excellent!
3.7 12 oz can from Total Wine, Sacramento Pours dark gold with a thick off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a medium-bodied pale malt flavor with a slightly bitter citrus finish. Completely balanced.
3.7 Can. Golden pour. Aroma has fresh citrussy hop, biscuity malt, pineapple, mango and peach. Taste of citrus, soft grassy pine, peach, biscuity malt, tropical fruit and crisp. Tasty stuff, but a little more body would make it even better.
3.4 Can from Gulating, Stavanger. Pours almost clear dark golden with a big creamy off-white head. Inviting malty and orange aroma, lots of marmelade. Taste is moderate bitter, grapefruit, unripe oranges, a bit thin mouthfeel, as expected
3.7 Single 12floz can from a mix-six purchased for $10. "16 0351 15:31 EK 92M," stamped on the bottom of the can. I’m not gonna look it up, no clear freshness date present. Poured into a nonic glass. It’s copper and has a sticking foaming head. Smells like pineapple, and other tropical punch much like a weak fruity mixed drink of this kind (not meant in a bad way, but pleasant). I gotta rate this better than some of the session IPAs I reviewed as it is better. It tastes like a watered down Sculpin with a smoother mango-melon flavor component. Goes down easy as it should. It does the job very appropriately for being a light-style IPA. Refreshing with a quick flush of fruitiness, a neato summer beer.
3.8 Appearance: clear deep gold with one finger of medium-dense ivory head, good retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Aroma: citrus, tropical fruit, pale malt, light pine. (8/10) Taste: moderate-low sweet, moderate-high bitter. (8/10) Palate: medium-light body, moderate carbonation, crisp dry moderate bitter slightly sharp finish. (3/5) Quite nice, which makes the fact that there will be my last two from these guys for the foreseeable future all the more painful. (I’ve decided I have to boycott them because of the political activities of the parent corporation, Constellation. So, I’ll drink the ones I have left, and that’s it.) Bright citrusy hops lead the way over a very clean, almost non-existent malt backbone. Overall, the hop presence is impressive for such a light malt bill, and remains generally enjoyable until the tail end of the finish, which comes across as slightly thin, sharp, or astringent. Which, I guess, is an excuse to drink more… oh, right… (15/20) 7.5/10 #ryansbooze ryansbooze.com
3.7 Can on the train. Pours a golden/orange with a fluffy white head. Bright hops, very citrus-forward, grapefruit, lemon peel, grassy, sweet malts. Strong on the aroma. Medium bitter, under medium sweet. Medium body and carbonation. Feels very full for a session beer.

3.8 Can. Dark gold to orange color. Medium bitterness and light sweetness. Dry medium body. Aroma is citrus, hops, pine, catpiss. Flavour is blueberries, pine, orange peel.
4.1 355ml can into shaker. Aroma of cashews, wood shavings and resin. Golden bronze beer, good sudsy head, light carbonation. Sharp and crisp in the mouth. Medium bodied. Taste and finish have more pine plus some lemon and sweet grapefruit. Solid malt undertones linger. What a great beer! Easy drinking, complex and only 3.8%!
3.7 355 ml can from Beergium. Deep amber, clear body, with a big, fluffy, moderately lacing, off-white head. Aroma of passion fruit, citrus, peach, resin, some pine, some biscuit. Taste is pretty similar. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation. Finishes bitter, medium dry, zesty, citric, piney, a bit fruity, slightly malty. Very nice. Crisp, easy and very well balanced, with enough bitterness, especially towards the finish, to balance the fruitiness and the moderate, sweet malt body. Not an oustanding style example maybe, there are quite a lot of SIPAs like this, but really tasty considering the low ABV.
3.7 What a nice tasty beer at only 3,8%! Hazy golden color with a fine thick white head. Ok lacing. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Tad sweet and a fine biterness. Grapefruit hoppy, fruity and pine in the flavor. [Can from Systembolaget web order in Sweden]
3.6 Can from Brewcraft. Clear amber-brown with fine sudsy white head and spotty legs. Smells of piny grassy hop, hay, chamomile, cereal/corn, crystal malt, bit of pepper and papaya. Taste is dry, medium bitterness, resin, grassy, lightly lemony, somewhat thin compared to aroma. Body is medium to heavy slickness, frothy carbonation, bitter. Very nice session IPA, esp. the nose.
3.5 Can from Brewcraft at home. Light orange copper pour with bright dense white head. Aroma is orange citrus, lemon zest, some herb and pine. Nice. Taste is less interesting, but has a light zesty crispness that’s not bad at all for a session IPA. Palate isn’t too light and empty but feels especially bubbly. Solid session IPA.
3.4 Can 12fl.oz. [ As Ballast Point Even Keel ]. Clear medium orange yellow color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. 4.0 Real nice hoppyness potent fruit floral, malts. Taste is great really, very hoppy tasting. Really nice almost more hoppy than most stronger ipa’ s and pale ales. Not gonna like I like this more than a lot of ipas.
3.5 Una cerveza de color anaranjado de alta carbonatacion y espuma. Su aroma es a durazno, Damasco y frutos rojos (frutillas). Su sabor es refrescante, de suave amargor y final seco a frutos secos (almendra).
