3.0 12floz can, no date (not clear what codes mean), $1.75 unit cost, tulip glass. Quickie dickie review: Golden color, white air pocketed head, smells like pencil shavings and lemon juice, American influenced taste with fleeting citrus fruitiness before descending to grainville, body is light, drinkable - yes, special - no. This would work well as a summer beer, and if fresh, because I'm pretty certain this isn't.
2.6 Aroma of biscuits, crisp malt and straw. Taste has a white bready character with a rather mild hop profile and slight corn. Standard lager one might say, only a tad better. Decent.
4.0 I love this brewery, and this lager is true to their character. Easy drinking, nothing you wouldnt expect for a lager. Well made, pale straw in colour, lasting head. Good choice!
3.5 12 oz can. Pours golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy, white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of grassy hops and biscuit malt. Body is medium and smooth. Taste is similar to aroma. Finish is short and semi-dry. Good brew.
3.3 I poured it from the can into a pint glass. It pours golden with a fluffy, white head. The aroma is fruit and grain. The taste is fruit, biscuit, and tea. This is a nice, easy-drinking beer. There's a lingering tartness to it. I could do a few of these.
3.1 Draught at the taproom in Little Italy, San Diego. Clear golden coloured with a small white head. Malty aroma of hay, grass and hops. Malty flavour of hops, grass and berries. Hoppy finish.
3.0 At Buttonwood with Dan and Joe. The aroma is sweet with notes of Halletaur hops. The flavor is sweet with light notes of grass, leading to a dry finish. Helped my swing the next few holes.
3.0 From a 12 oz. can. Pours a clear pale gold with a big white head. Aromas of sourdough bread. Light sweet and light bitter flavors along with a light body..
3.3 Can. Aroma of pale malt and some citrus. Fresh taste of pale malt, citrus hops and some hop bite. Very thirst quenching, nice on a hot day. Good lager!
1.9 This is a relatively run of the mill lager, and it’s too sweet for me. It pours yellow with a little foam. The aroma is standard lager. Hay, sugar, a little vanilla, a little bit of grassy hops. The flavor is like the aroma, but the finish is sweet enough for this beer to wear out it’s welcome with me pretty quickly.
2.2 Lemon and yeast nose, mild and inoffensive to the Bud-Miller set, I guess. Looks a bit weak--or macro--for a lager, pale yellow with a fleeting head and teensy-weensy flecks of lace. Taste is bready malt coupled with lemon-apple esters and a very mild tart finish. bright and yellow and weak, hops nearly undetectable on the back end. Fade is doughy and underwhelming--like me in high school! Come on, Ballast Point. Just because you’re technically a macro brewery now doesn’t mean you have to start brewing macro swill. (I know, I know, they still brew plenty of solid beers. Weak lagers just annoy me.)
3.6 Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 4A). Bottle 35.5 cl - Batch unknown (BBF unknown). AROMA: medium malty-sweet aroma with grainy and honey-like notes. very faint herbal hop aroma. 2.3 355ml bottle shared by djoeye. Pale yellow body, misty. Dissipating snow white head. Fragile lacing. Rather vague grainy aroma. Restrained taste profile of bread, pears and lemony hints. Mild and semi-sweet grainy ending. Soft in the mouth. Easy going. (Tromsø 02.04.2017).
1.9 Aroma; grain, grass, pale cardboard malts. Look; off white head, about clear pale golden body. Taste; grain, apple grass, pear, pale pale malts – watery finish. Feel; easy. Overall; so so. Helles in Germany is better. [35cl.btl abv4.7% BB:14.3.17 B@Gulating Tromsø T@Hagen&Bier]

2.8 Visual: Pours light golden straw yellow with a small dissipating head, a thin layer of retention, singular steady streams. Nose: soft farty, sweet lager malt. (lvl-3)-pungency Attack: crisp, smooth tingly/light fizzy CO2 Mid-palate: (lvl-4-sweetness), crystal clean sweet lagered barley malt, soft bready, background subtle citrus, hint of corn Finish: lingering sweet barley, subtle hops Summary: Clean, sweet and straightforward with a pretty good crisp mouthfeel. Okay body but I guess this as good as a lager can get. Good quality, but not really memorable.
2.9 Can. Golden Color with a three finger head. Aroma and taste is well balance for an above average brew.
3.2 Can Clear light yellow with loose, white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is light flowery hops and a bit of grass. The flavor is very lightly acidic, a bit lemony. It has the mouthfeel of a ginger ale. Carbonic acid, spritzy. Light & refreshing, suitable for lawn mowing.
3.3 Where and how: Tasting VB (can) Aroma:nice malty feel, clean, crisp. I like hop they exposed intricacies of malt world. This was well paired with right kind of hops. Nice and refreshing nose gentlemen! Appearance : Top: sadly top could not match in quality, sad and shallow. Base: clear, gold Palate : medium bodied, slight chalky feel to it. Fine, frisky carbonation. Average length. Taste: easy going golden lager. Slightly more chalky than wished for, Still, this si quiet refreshing creation with its malt being strong part of.
3.4 Picked up single 12-oz bottle from Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, MN. Pours a clear golden straw colored brew with an average sized off-white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of bright golden grain malt, a hint of dry pear esters and some grassy hops. Taste is light bodied with flavors of golden grain malt, some pear, low calorie white bread and a touch of grassy hops. Finish is light, crisp with a short lived spice spiced hop aftertaste followed by a clean cut finish. A great summer hot day refresher helles.
3.0 355 ml (12 fl.oz.) bottle. Clear, pale yellow, medium white head, low carbonation. Aroma is grainy, with some hay and grass to the nose. Mouthfeel is smooth, well carbonated with a long aftertaste. Flavour is refreshing pale lager all the way. I could easily have several of these around a bbq camp-fire with tasty food and good friends in a summer night.
3.1 On tap at 40 brews. It poured a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, some grass and grains. The taste was similar to the aroma with more citrus, grass, hops, bitterness, some malts and a little sweetness. Not too bad.
