3.1 Mocno karmel i melanoidyny. Słodkie. Brązowate. Piana niska. Bardziej jak koźlak, ale przyjemny.
3.6 Very nice porter style beer from Russia! It has a beautiful dark colour + intense chocolatey taste to it. Not so fommy, medium density. Great if you like porters and want to try a well-priced one from Russia! :)
3.6 From bottle, pours very dark brown, nearly black, small dark head. Aroma: chocolate, vanilla, roasted bread. Light bitter taste, long finish, full body, soft carbonation. Not bad, quite drinkable, not too boring.
3.6 470 ml Jaka aroma alkohola, karamele i oraha.. Boja cista crna ko ugljen, pjena slaba, brzo nestane.. Okus jak, kremast i tezak.. Sve u svemu nije lose pivo..
3.8 0.47l bottle, huge thanks to Lore for getting it for me. Almost totally black body with a ruby hue and a thin light brown head. Aroma and taste of cocoa powder, chocolate, plums, caramel and some berries (or cherries?). The alcohol can be felt but it's very subtle. Medium body and carbonation. Decent beer.
0.5 Russian warship, go fuck yourself! dark mahogany colour, medium sized beige-ish head; aroma of dried sour cherry, burnt plum jam, apple (?), burnt sugar and licorice notes; taste has the same notes with some roasted rye bread; good baltic porther though I expected a bit more - BUT AT THE CURRENT SITUATION! HEY, FUCKIN' RUSSIAN WASHIP, GO AND FUCK YOURSELF! SHAME ON YOU RUSSIA! SHAME ON ALL OF YOU! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WxrBYk2FoY kibaszott ruszkik, egyszerűen senkik vagytok!
3.2 Not in the top 500. Dark brown color. Nose. Burnt brown bread, burnt sugar and caramel, wine notes. Flavor: Burnt brown bread, with caramel sweetness. Against the background of coffee and dried fruits, very weakly. The finish is light astringency and bitterness from roasted malt.
2.0 Is it suitable for vegans? Do you use animal products in the preparation process?
3.6 Ar: Dark caramel and sweet bread crust; moss and a bit of black licorice; pineapple and vinous notes. Ap: Dark brown and opaque; medium-small light tan head with moderate-low retention, settling into a ring of medium bubbles and a very thin, incomplete covering of foam. T: Burnt caramel with some alcohol warmth; black pepper, black licorice, and dark-roast coffee; bitterness is medium, with an accompany mossy, peppery hop flavor; dark fruit tannins; molasses; pineapple, treacle, and some clean alcohol on the finish. P: Medium body with high carbonation; medium-dry finish. O: A well-made Baltic porter; has all the hallmark flavors--dark fruit, burnt caramel, and roast; despite being a lager, it almost has an English-yeast edge to it.
3.9 Brown. Small head. Pleasant nutty flavour and a quite malty medium body.Quite distinctive and a go to example of this style. Quite surprised and impressed at the same time by this one.
3.5 Bottle @ home from Alko. Black color and beige head. Aroma is, dry with milk chocolate, licorice, vanilla, dark fruits. Medium to to big body with a smooth, roasted palate. Flavors of Ash, licorice, dark fruits, chocolate. Lingering chocolate, herbs and licorice.
4.3 Very rich in flavor, chocolate notes. Dark brown in color. Not the best porter but definitely the best Baltika beer.
3.4 $2.59 bottle, Beer Run. One of those beers I just assumed I'd had/rated. Turns out I was wrong. Pours dark brown, nearly black, with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, wet dog, chocolate, cocoa, coffee. Flavor is slightly sweet chocolate, coffee, caramel malt (heavy), salted peanuts, coffee grounds. A bit on the sweet side, but sure isn't bad for the price.
Tom Waits.
ABV 7%, OG 16% Color: almost black. Cap: not so big, with large bubbles. The body is average, carbonization moderate. Smell: sweet, black malt, caramel. Taste: sweet, black malt, caramel, dried fruits, grain burned crust, dry smack inherent in the British dry stauta. Overall: very pleasant porter.
3.7 Sweet taste. Lot of roasted malts
3.5 Bottle. It pours black with a creamy beige head. The aroma is tobacco, dried fruit, toasted malts and light chocolate. The flavor is medium sweet and dry.
3.8 Aroma røsted malt, karamell, kaffe, sjokolade. Utseende mørk brun nesten sort med beige skum. Smak røsted malt, karamell, vanilje. Fyldig, smaksrik.
4.0 Aroma; sweet caramel, fruity hops, roasted syrupy malt. Look; beige head, about black body. Taste; roasted toffee malts, juicy prune, leaves, super nice black sweet chocolate - confectionery tail. Feel; good body, ok co². Overall; otlichnoe. [shared.btl@OktoberfestHosLmojoh]
3.0 My first Baltic porter; another style check today. Pours almost black. Head is about half-finger length and retains fairly well, but not much lacing. Aroma of cola, cocoa, dark fruit. Flavor: lots of cocoa, slight purple fruit, yeasty, sugary. Kind of dies, and is less pleasant, in the finish; soda-like mouthfeel, and slightly medicinal, before it vanishes. Also found it a little too thin-bodied for balance. A merely OK beer. Would like to eventually try better ones in this hard-to-find style, if I ever come across any.
2.8 500 ml bottle. Pours a nearly jet black color with mahogany highlights and a beige head with decent retention. No lacing. Dark roasted aroma. Medium roasted taste initially with a dark fruit and molasses finish. Smooth. Medium heavy body. 7.0 ABV is well hidden. It's okay.
Aroma a maltas tostadas dulces y café.
3.3 Smell - quite weak, some caramel and roast. Foam - some carbonation, medium thick, soft, bitter background. Taste - bitter, roast, sweet, some alcohol at start, carbonation at start, if it stays a bit then it gets better, when carbonation go out.
2.8 Bottle from shop by Bognor station. Dark pour, head gone really quickly. Roasted malt, quite strong liquorice which wasn't really for me.
3.2 Bottle, 50 cl. Overall nice Baltic porter; warming, yet not that boozy.
