2.4 500ml Flasche. Klar und bernsteinfarben mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Malzig. Leichter Körper. Milder Geschmack. Gut trinkbar.
3.4 500ml bottle. Poured a clear dark amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, rich red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich spicy fruit, light alcohol, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
4.0 An english, hazelnut colored ESB / Premium Bitter with light head. Aroma is caramel, malt, caramel, prune, light yeast, light tea? Taste is bitter sweet.
2.7 Bottle from Abbotts ale house, cork. Pours dark red with cream head. Dried fruit, floral, caramel aromas. Spice, earthy, peppery, orange, caramel flavours. Quite a thin textures do quite average.
1.7 Disappointed; the whole experience was lacklustre, uninspiring and pretty characterless. Dark ruby brown, a half finger fine light beige head that disappeared almost instantly. Restrained yeast and berries in the ho-hum nose. Lustreless thin mouthfeel. There is some banal fruitiness but the whole taste experience is bland, unsatisfying and certainly no Christmas cheer.
3.1 OK, med meget ordinær engelsk øl. Fin frugtagtig aroma. Tilpas bitter. Savner noget fylde

3.1 500ml bottle. Clear, red-brown colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, fruity malty and hoppy aroma, hints of cherry and red berries, a background-ish touch of toffee. Taste is sweet-ish malty, notes of toffee, fruity overtones with hints of cherry and red berries. Nice.
3.0 Clear, brown pour with beige foam. Rich, cereal malty nose with touches of spice. Medium body, moderate carbonation and slightly slippery. The malts are rich, complex and balance the hops well. There are touches of spice and a bit of dryness, but the after taste remains fruity.
2.8 Bottle. Amber Brown. Roasty malts, caramel. Slight dark fruits. Spicy, rather peppery. Offset by hop bitterness. Sweet malty fruity spicy ale. Bitter malty finish. Rather artificial unbalanced taste. (2008)
2.9 Bottle. Clear ruby body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of wood and syrup. Flavour of toffee and spices. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. Simple and a bit dull.
2.8 Served in a tulip from a 500ml bottle. Pours clear garnet brown with a medium off-white head. Aroma is caramel, molasses, malts, hint of red fruits. Taste is malty with notes of molasses, bitter-sweet. Watery body with lively carbonation. Quaffable beer but nothing spectacular.

3.1 Bottle. Pours clear reddish brown with beige head. Aroma has biscuit, dark caramel, hints of chocolate and grain yet slightly grassy. Taste is malty with dark bread, biscuit and dark caramel and has slightly roasted notes. A light grassy hoppiness as well and finish is malty and dry.
2.9 Bottle from Kvickly, Risskov. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma and taste is malt, sweet fruits. caramel, brown sugar. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Bittersweet finish.
3.1 Bottle: Clear amber coloured with a ruby sheen, stable off-white foamy layer; fruity and mildly hoppy nose with an illusion of breadcrusts in the background; mild bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, but pretty smooth; mildly lingering fruity and slightly (red-)vinous finish with a soft english hoppy "tail". No reason to get excited, just a pleasant anglo-saxon ale...
3.0 Bottle from Whispering Liquor: Poured a glowing mahogany light brown color and created minimal formation of fizzy head. Aroma smells heavy with deep caramelized malt and smells of traditional English malting, however, it is clearly a couple of years old. Taste of the beer is flat yet has a bitter sweet syrupy chewy base of caramelized malts.
3.1 bottle - Pours dark amber with a one finger head. It has a mild caramel malt aroma. The flavor is lightly roasted caramel malt, mild bitterness, Fairly dry finish. Medium bodied. It’s a decent beer.
2.9 Brun klar farge med lavt beige skum. Lukter svakt av maltsødme. Søtlig i smak og medium bitter avslutning.
2.8 (bottle) Clear, dark amber to brown colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Caramelly malty nose with nutty and toasted accents, some off-flavours (sulfur) in the background. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Toasty malty taste with notes of caramel, nutty flavours, restrained to none fruity accents; quite dry bitter-sweet finish. Quite boring. 06.II.16

3.3 Mahognibrun klar med lavt beige skum. Lite lukt, noe lett brent karamell. Lett. Søtlig brent start, bitterheten kommer godt fra mitten og ut. Earlier Rating: 11/8/2013 Total Score: 2.4 Gylden brun med hvitt skum. Makt karamell. Søt og bare det. Trasig. Medium kullsyre
2.7 500ml bottle at home, thanks to Sarah. As ’Batemans Rosey Nosey’, 4.7%, BB Dec 2016. Santa, snow, reindeer and a snowman on the label, just in case there’s any doubt about this being a Christmas special. Orange brown, clear, lightly sparkling with a thin dense tan head. Aroma is dusty, emptied vacuum, cat paws, pencil sharpenings. Body is medium, a touch foamy, low-ish carbonation. Taste is resin, spice, a little metallic all set against a peanut brittle malt background. Finishes dry and bitter with some woody cinnamon. A bit metallic.
3.2 Amber with a white head - Malt with some caramel notes in the aroma - Malt body with some caramel flavours and some gentle hops that gives some hops and bitterness in the back - The malt goes into the finish - This was nice
2.3 Clear brown smooth light brown head Aroma is roasted malty and spicy. Quite bitter. Flavor is malty brown sugar spices.
1.6 Roughly foam that will not last long. A somewhat thin aroma, which contains most of hops and a little flower. Tastes slightly acidic and also sweet malty body with little floral synthetic aftertaste where little hops is shown. The finish is not very long, and it is an ale which do not leave a big impression.
3.0 Enjoying this in July in New Zealand - mid winter as intended for this beer. It’s a shame I can’t share it with some Christmas Turkey and dinner! Malty well balanced and not too in your face.
