Cask: Status uncertain. Cold filtered in bottles. A great golden beer with a fresh citrus, hoppy aroma. This wonderful wholesome organic ale has a dry and bitter finish which brings you right back to earth.

2.9Helles, frisches, leichtes Pale Ale. Frucht (vor allem Citrus) eher wenig, dennoch ausgewogen. Entspannt, unkompliziert, gute Trinkbarkeit
2.9Rating from memory for completion purposes. Tried in both bottles and on cask (I believe). Prefer the Gem. Will update with a more thorough tasting as soon as possible :)
May 2018 update: Nice balance of malts and hops in the bottled variety. Bottle acquired from Co-Op stores.
3.550cl from bottle bought at Waitrose (London). Light, dry, hoppy, and sweet overall.

2.8From a bottle. Pours a clear, light golden colour with light carbonation. A nice grainy and fruity aroma but not overpowering which is the same for the taste which is malty, hoppy and fruity. A nice and tasty ale.
3.5Goudgeel/donkerblond, witte schuimkraag, helder, weinig koolzuur.
Aroma: Moutig, boter, brood/biscuit, licht spicy hops en iets Citrus.
Smaak: Moutig ale, biscuit mouten, Citrus, prikkelig/peperig, beetje droog.
Eigenlijk prima ale.... simple... but does the job. Niets mis mee.
Medium body, zacht koolzuur, fris, kruidig en licht bitter in de afdronk.
3.2Bottle from asda, Cannock. Golden beer with small head. Aroma of butter, malts and citrus. Taste is citrus, pale malts and butter. OK.
3.5Bottle. Golden and well carbonated with a decent head. Citrus and farmyard aroma. Dry and lightly bitter, crisp malt backbone. A decent blond ale. This doesn’t do anything wild or be in your face - its just a well balanced, tasty beer.
3.2Bottle. Clear golden ale with moderate white head. Aroma: biscuit, spicy hops, a little off- note. Medium body. Medium sweet malty taste. Biscuit. Floral English bitteness.
3.3Pale golden with a white head - malt aroma with hop that has a hints of citrus in the aroma - Malt body with a gentle hop bitterness that has some citrus tones to it - The malt and hops goes into the finish with some bitterness - This was nice
2.6Ganska slätstruken tycker jag. Inte så mycket karaktär åt något håll. Glömd efter sista glaset.
2.9Lys brun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter noe sitrus, honning, høy og lyst brød. Middels minus i fylde. Maltig sødme, maltekstrakt, sirup og korn. Lett bitterhet i avslutningen.
3.7Bottle. Clear golden with a quickly dissipating white foam. Aroma is flowery, malty, white bready, slight spicy. Taste is medium bitter with bready notes, slight sweet malt, fresh and crisp, slight peppery, grassy and bitter finish. Very nice.
3.8A top level golden ale with malt, bitter hops, light carbonation and an excellent drinkabiity coming from the mouth feel. A classic English beer and all the better for it.
Gott.
1.4Aroma is almost non-existant. Taste is flowers, herbs, cardboard, and wet paper.
3.3Bottle. Clear Yellowy Gold. Crisp, fresh, citrus hoppy organic pale ale with dry, bitter finish. Very drinkable. (2008)
3.7500ml bottle from Whole Foods, Giffnock (£1.79):
An excellent first Bath Ales beer for me & one that was very well balanced whilst being quite a light, easy going beer that would definitely make an excellent session offering. There was some pleasant citrus flavours in the early going with a sweetness that got slightly stronger as things went on plus the floral touches that featured nearer the end were enjoyable too. The beer was at times a touch light but it didn’t take much away from what was otherwise a great beer. It certainly wasn’t the most complex offering I’ve came across recently either but it was well made & drinkable; decent stuff & one well worth picking up if you find it.
3.9Bottle, 50 cl. Marvellous, gentle ale: well balanced hops/malt, exciting aroma, pleasant carbonation and finish.
3.2Bottle. Clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of citrus, caramel, bread, toffee and herbs. Flavor is malty with notes of citrus, caramel, toffee and herbs. Well balanced.
3.3500ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear pale golden, small white head, poor lacing. Floral and grassy aroma. Light, crisp and smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Floral bitter taste, biscuits, citrus, grass and white bread. Crisp finish.

3.6Just great. Now I know what the real English Pale Ale should be. Golden color. Wanderfull aroma of fruits and flowers, soft taste. Remaind APA a bit. One of my favorites by now.
3.5500ml bottle: golden in colour, nice meium head, lasting throughout pint. Slight bread and citrus. very nice smell. medium bitterness, well balanced, smooth slight carbonated taste.
4.8Light hoppy citrussy.
Attended a demo of Bath Ales most popular beers and thought this would be a bit tame and organic but after tasting I dont care how they brew it, this is out and out my favourite and has been my preferred tipple ever since.
Plenty of hoppy flavours, light enough to drink by itself or with a light meal.
Thouroughly enjoyable beer and always on my shopping list at Tescos.
