3.3 Bottle. Pours a dark gold colour with a fluffy white head, light hop aroma with some fruit especially citrus fruits, the taste is medium bitterness and fruity with a dry bitter finish.
2.0 Witte kop, bruin amber, moutig zoet neus, mout zoet ronde smaak, volle body.
2.9 Licht bitter
3.3 Poured amber with white foam lasting head. Aroma has yeast, herbs, and some toffee malt. Taste is medium sweet to bitter with initial malt dominance giving way to a bitter hop finish; some grassy herbal notes also. Palate is medium bodied, slightly grainy, average to full carbonation, and a bitter finish. This is the last of my Belgian beer consignment and it leaves me with a mixed view; I can see the quality in places but suspect the yeast factor makes it unsuitable for me.
3.2 Bottled, 330ml from Kay Gee's Off LIcence, Didcot, Oxon. Reddish amber with white head. There is a Belgian yeastiness to this, pear drops, perfumed notes but alongside a toffee caramel character. Burnt sugar notes with smooth malts, some herbal hints. It's okay.
3.0 Goudblond bier met voldoende koolzuur. Geur mout, hooi, citrus. Smaak mout, citrus, kruidig, water. Medium wat droog mondgevoel. Nasmaak bitterzuur, beetje hars
3.7 Bottle from Craftshack. Pours somewhat ruddy amber with a decent creamy white head. Aroma of toffee and yeast with some grass. Med body. Flavor actually has a purple grape component with toffee and yeast and grass. Actually a very light hop burn. It's malty but there's enough hop to balance. It is delicious - but not one of those super monster beers loved by many. It's delicate. Lovin' it.
2.9 33cl Bottle @ Belgiuminabox.com, Antwerpen, Belgium. Amber colour with a thick white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, citrus. Taste follows the aroma. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.6 Eerste bier beoordeeld in nieuwe woonplaats, thuis dus. Donker gouden kleur, wit schuim.
Weinig complexiteit.
3.1 A beer with a purpose. A gulp of Kwaremont tastes like a victory on the cobblestones of Belgium. It actually tastes similar to ‘de Bergse Waeg’ times two. 6.6%. Good to drink, slightly waterly, with a stronger wooden afterdrink. Some brown sugar elements complete the winners drink. A ‘Kwaremond’ keeps you ‘Gezond’! Note, the beer isn’t Blond or Pittig like indicated on the bottles label.
3.4 (bottle 0,33l from Modrý lev (Brno - Česká)) Overall: Nice belgian blond, quite bitter. Aroma: Spicy, fruity. Appearance: Clear golden. Medium, white head. Taste: Medium sweet, spicy, some fruity, malty, light bitter, some malty harsh. Palate: Medium body. Higher carbonation. Bitter finish.
4.5 De Belgiuminabox. En copa Grimbergen. Estudiando Hadoop. Además, no resulta nada cabezona
3.3 Enjoyed this wee bit more than score suggests. Head and look threw me. Head initially ended up almost non existent but just topped it up in bishops finger chalice and nice rocky now. Strange . So just upped the score for ‘look’ . Fizzy looking bubble wise. Orange for a blonde? Not a lot of nose . Marmalady on palate. Malts come through. Glad tried and would maybe have again . No more than one though. . From Locketts NB. NOTE to self - served straight from fridge. Perhaps too cold for flavours.. defo allow to come a wee bit towards room temp next time. Bit alcoholic finish. Meh
2.5 Bière ambrée. Claire. Mousse peu persistante.
3.1 Amber, tall head. Amber with a little too much foam. Yeasty smell with a note of orange zest. Clear and not lasting bitterness, light fruity (pear/banana) aftertaste. Alcohol adds some body.
3.1 330mL bottle from International Beer Collector 6.6%ABV BB 03-12-2021 Pours a big white foam atop a crystal clear gold body. Subtle aroma - peppery spice, grain, golden syrup, touch of ripe pomme fruits. Carbonation is reasonably lively, fullish body. Reasonable sweetness upfront; white sugar/golden syrup, touch of pear ester, white pepper, bread dough, mild bitterness. Alright Belgian blond without being exceptional.
2.8 Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of Max. Shared with him, kajser27 and Miro B. Clear orange with large white head. Malty, fruity, yeasty, quite sweet, moderate carbonation. Medium bodied.
3.1 Bottle from Sterk Amsterdam. Yeasty aroma, quite sweet malt, a little spice. OK beer.
3.0 That Belgian place ran by Louis Van Gaal down on the promenade in Areja, Feb 2020. Bit dull and dead with old yeast but I’ll take it. Mid hazy blonde, fine low head, top faux crocodile skin stemmed tulip. Aroma tired sappy herb, quiet citrus parsley. Nougat and stale lemon and galangal confectionery flavour with soft gummy hop. Alright but want more for my 6.6%.
3.2 Amber yellow color, modest head. Not a specific well defined smell, but quite okay. Similar taste - no obvious flavours or notes. Slightly woody. A distant hint of red fruits maybe. Not particularly sweet nor hoppy. There's a pleasant subtle and refreshing herbal bitterness in the aftertaste though. Accessible, quite okay.
3.2 Belgian good
3.1 Bottle. Golden, with light haze and snow-white foam. Aroma: light malt, a little spicy, esters and a little fruity and grassy. Taste: malt, pear seeds, light sweetness, pear, a little candy, normal blonde.
3.2 An orange beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has fruitness, some caramel. Taste has fruitness, some caramel and spicyness. Medium bodied. Simple.
