Bayerischer Bahnhof Original Leipziger Gose

Bayerischer Bahnhof Original Leipziger Gose

This original Leipzig beer specialty lends us the name for our brewery. Gose is a regional beer specialty that was brought to Saxony-Anhalt in the year 1738. Originally Gose comes from Goslar, a small town in Lower Saxony, and the river “Gose” in this town. This beer specialty has a refreshing, slightly sour taste and is ideal for quenching your thirst. Gose is brewed with the additional ingredients lactic acid, cilantro, and salt. Gose is a top-fermented beer with 4,5 Vol. % alcohol and 10,8 % wort. You can enjoy it in different variations.

3.3 Flasche beim Brauer bestellt. Klares Bernstein, kein Schaum. Wenig Kohlensäure erkennbar. Aroma: Frucht, Orange, Mandarine, saure Note, ein bisschen Milchsäure. Geschmack: Sauer, Apfel Most, etwas muffig im Gaumen, Fruchtig, Orange, Multivitaminsaft, leicht spritzig im Antrunk.
3.1 Medium, balanced nuances of bitter, earthy malts, averagely sour berries, a hint of salt. Medium taste spectrum and short aftertaste with slightly sweet malts and a hint of berries. Light body with medium carbonation. Overall, nicely balanced and not too sour. Good quality. 4 3 7 3 14
3.7 16 September 2020. At Astral Beers Pub, Bologna. Shared with the lovely Anke! Hazy orange with a stable, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of melon, starfruit, unripe mandarin, gooseberry, wheat, lime, vague cucumber & cream. Taste has sour gooseberry, lime & cucumber juice, bit lactic, wheaty with a bready backbone. Tart, bready finish, sour fruit, touch of salt. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Archetypal Gose, nice.
3.0 330ml bottle (Alus Celle, Riga). Golden color. Sour, coriander, salty, vegetables in aroma/taste.
4.2 01.07.2017 AR: milchsauer, Getreide, Zitrone AP: trübes goldgelb TA: milchsauer, Sekt, Gewürz, salzig, Zitrone, Kräuter
3.4 Hazy golden. Aroma is distinct coriander and lacto with a little toast and apricot. Taste is sour lacto with light salt. Very light on the tongue with a more intense finish of coriander. Drinkable but a little flat on the tongue. Not as good as expected.
3.6 330 ml bottle. Cloudy orange, big foamy head. Lactic acid, lime, yeast and wheat, coriander, salt. Mild dry acidic sourness, a bit salty. Medium bodied, creamy texture, lively carbonated, dry acidic finish. Great.
3.2 Very light and well balanced. Hints of citrus, a touch of salt, very malty. Picked up a bottle at Beertopia in 2020.
4.1 Bottle at Dogtap Berlin Sept 2019 during Brewdog's 1st European AGM. Pours lightly hazed orange golden with a white head. Aroma: light sour, wheat, coriander, salt. Taste: light to moderate sweet & tart, wheat, citrus, coriander, herbal. Medium body, average carb, dry salty finish. Best gose I've tried, a classic of the style from the source
4.1 On tap. Sonnengelb und trüb. Feiner heller Schaum. Schön blumig in der Nase. Zitrone, Bergamotte. Im Geschmack sanfte Säure, Hefe, Zitrone, Blumen. Koriander ist schön da. Ein Hauch Salz. Elegante und doch auch klassische Gose. Gefällt mir gut.
3.5 Hazy yellow colour. Aroma is coriander, salt, and wheat. Taste is quite salty with a little bit of a lactic finish. Light level of tartness.
3.2 Smell is slightly sweet, taste is same, lightly sweet, solid mouthfeel and mostly a malty beer like a blue moon type of malt....not very complex but good flavor....had during covid19 lockdown at home
3.4 0,33l bottle shared @ One Pint Pub, self-import tasting. Pours cloudy golden with a medium head. Aroma is tart and earthy malts. Flavor is tart, earthy malts with a note of salt. Good.
3.5 Säuerlich, leicht fruchtig-süß, leicht salzig. Frisch
3.6 Hazy ochre yellow, moderate white head of mediocre retention. Nose: malt, wheat, picant salt, seashore, coriander. Fine. Light to medium body. Taste: light sweet wheat malts, salt, coriander. Actually very tasty but the ending is just the same. No finishing. point.
3.8 Bottle. Hazy orange color with medium white head. Sour, oranges, lemongrass, salty. Good one.
0.9 One of the six beers I got for Christmas this year. I started with the gas because it's the one I know I'm not going to like him. Never like any other beer and I've had in this while I'm not a big fan of salt. average white head on top of a an opaque gold and brown body. I'm not going to lie here, it smells like salt. With the coriander and the sea salt and taste like I'm drinking liquid seasoned salt. If you like this style you might it's probably good but I don't so this is probably one of the worst beers I've ever had.
3.2 Bottle, 330 ml courtesy of JFK10000. Shared with him and Miro B. Clear golden, white head. Citric, bit salty, vague lemon, light bodied. Bit bland.
3.6 330mml. bottle as part of the «European Summer Santa 2019», many thanks @rauchbierlover. @home, 02/10/2019. Clean bright orange colour with a medium white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a bit herbal, coriander and soft tart. Taste is medium salty leading to a medium tart finish. Refreshing and clean. I think its a good classic example of the style. Next one please!
3.0 Almost clear golden, fast diminishing head. Quite a bit of malts in the nose, a bit of lemony tart / lacto notes. Similar taste - malty, old malts, light fruity tartness, light lacto, no salt. Almost flat carbonation. Underwhelming, to say the least.
3.3 Pours lightly hazy golden with a full, white head. Aroma is coriander, salt and light hops. Taste is caramel, moving to tartness, salt and coriander. Finish is coriander. Good example of the style.
3.4 On tap at the Auerbachs Keller in Leipzig, Germany. Hazy yellow with a 3-finger head that fades quickly. This is a light and easy-drinking beer with a gentle sourness.
4.0 Bottle at Brewdog Pub & Restaurant Hamburg, Germany. Pours hazy yellow in the glass with a nice white head. Taste is tart and salt with some touch of orange and coriander. Very refreshing!
3.2 Quite light, herbal, touch of salt and tanginess. Bisquit and lightly roasted gain, but a fairly light palate overall. Not salty, not sweet, no fruit, but still refreshing.
3.6 Appearance: Light orange golden, hazy. Quite hazy. Small head. Aroma: Herbs, light fruits, some saltiness, hint of tanginess. Taste: Light fruits, lemon and sweet, some saltiness. Slight sourness, but luckily for me not too much. Bought: Die Bierothek (Stuttgart), 330 ml, €2.74 Info: 31/5-2019, BB: 27/2-2020
3.2 Bottle (though not shaped like in the listing). Nice looking clear amber beer. Light, fizzy, slightly tart. Dry finish. The problem is these light refreshers are pricey over here, and they go down so quickly.
3.0 Bottle. Color: Sligjtly hazy orange golden, fast disappearing white head. Aroma: Malt, ligh sour, some salt. Taste: Malty, moderate sweet, ight sour and salty, subtle hints of yellow fruit, peach. Mineral water. Under medium body, below average carbonation. No explosion of flavours, not that special but (just) a good example of the original Leipziger Gose. I quite like it.
3.1 Dorata, limpida, con shiuma non abbondante, bianca, dalla discreta tenuta. Al naso limone maturo, pane. In bocca è molto delicata: lieve citrico, crackers e una quasi impercettibile nota sapida sul finale. Carbonazione molto bassa, corpo leggero, scorre veloce.
