This pale and hoppy IPA was brewed with a high proportion of wheat and rye for a smooth, well rounded flavor and mouth feel. New hop varieties Mosaic and Meridain provide a uniquely American and modern hop flavor and aroma.

3.6Bottle. A lot of rye in aroma and flavor. Some citrus, pine, and tropical flavors as well.
3.6Taster at Hops & Pie 8-13-16 Hop Fest
3.8Amber with medium white head. Slight hoppy aroma. Good hoppy bitterness with citrus notes. Lasting bitter aftertaste.
3.5Bit weird malt background as well as bit weird hop combo. Some grapefruit, hay, light pine, some overripe tropical fruits. Moderate bitterness all the way. Decent
4.0Another great BR beer. Nice alternative to Racer 5; so good and multiple layers of flavor
4.112oz bottle from Crossing the Rubicon. Orange amber, good head. Tangerine malt aroma. Candy bar and hop flavour. Well balanced and smooth.
3.013/20 big hoppy taste followed by big bitterness, nice zesty taste with a bitter kick
3.6Hazy orange amber, small head. Kinda stinky! Citrus, bitter herb, melon, sweat sock. Flavor more tropical. Rounded, smooth, almost slick mouthfeel. Light bitterness.
4.212 oz bottle. Pours hazy orange yellow with a medium bubbly white head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet caramel malt and fruity piney resiny hops.
The flavor is sweet caramel malt and fruit (a little caramel apple) with big piney resiny hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a nice old school IPA.
3.9Thin beige head left a skim on a still, unclear orange body.
Pine, bitter citrus hops & malt aroma.
Medium bodied, soft & sticky in the mouth with a tingle on the back & cloying aft.
Really bitter pine tastes with a huge hop overdose, pith, grapefruit, marmalade & over stewed fruit
3.5Slightly hazy golden color. Aroma has orange peel and resiny hops. Taste has light nutty malt notes, bitter orange peel and a good amount of grapefruit pith bitterness on the finish.
3.6On tap at Capone's. Poured a cloudy golden color with thin sized off white head. Citrus, with floral and pine.
2.1Pours a gold color with a thin white head. No lacing. Strong hop aroma of pine and citrus. Flavor has a bit of earthy dirty flavor that turns into a pithy bitterness.
3.5Aromat: mocna baza słodowa rzuca się w oczy a właściwie w nos. Trochę żywicznych nut, trochę papai i innych słodkich, egzotycznych owoców. Trochę mało orzeźwiająco i mało chmielowo ale w sumie spoko.
Wygląd: jasnozłote, czyste, przejrzyste, pianka biała, niewielka, drobnopęcherzykowa i szybko zanika.
Smak: bardzo przyjemne, słodkie owoce tropikalne skontrowane sporą sosnową goryczką. Papaja, ananas i sosna.
3.7Summery, spritely, a bit rough of a finish, flowery, fruity aorma, with resiny funk. flavor hint of watermelon with resin & grapefruit. clear light yellow with modest white head. raspy finish.
3.9Bottle from Sugaya. Fat and floral aroma, with grassy hops and grapefruit, all somewhat musty and dusty. Hazy medium amber color with a fluffy white head. Flavors of grapefruit, mild ripe tropical fruit, a small touch of rye, light green onions, and length but moderate bitter tracks. Medium body, with some gentle hop burn. Rich and smooth, overall. Pretty good.
3.8Draft at Macs. Hazy golden orange pour. Eggy, soapy, off-white foam. Pale malty but also hop forward. Unexpected candy marshmallow breakfast cereal aroma. Orange drink. Juicy Fruit gum. The taste though brings enough resiny hop bite to remind you its an IPA. Tropical fruits. Citrus peels. Fresh-cut grass. Different and unusual.
3.8A golden clear beer with a medium size white head. Very aromatic, tropical fruits and citrusy. Typical west coast ipa, dry and hoppy. Great balance. Great beer
3.712 ounce bottle. Medium gold color.mlarge frothy white head. Fragrant grainy malt and citrus hop nose. Crisp, earthy malt flavor. Notes of bitter peppery hops with grapefruit and pine. Some dank, resiny notes, but easy to drink. Wheat and rye serve to balance the big hoppy notes. Quite good.
4.0Bottle, golden orange with big frothy foam, nice soft floral nose and flavor , good mild finish
3.9Light gold, clear, tall white head.
Medium body, smooth texture, intense flavors, hot and frothy mouthfeel, lingering aftertaste.
Assertively bitter but beautifully balanced.
Hop flavors as strong as the label promises. Citrus, pith and rind, fruity, malt manages to appear through it.
Not original but more than delicious.
4.4Bottle into tulip. Aroma of lemon grass. Hop bomb and heavy citrus fruit but seems to lessen a bit and soften slightly. Do not feel the 7.5 at all. A great IPA.
3.612 ounce bottle. Pours a mostly clear gold with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical, and pine. Taste is grapefruit, pineapple, orange, mango, pine, and malt. Good.
3.4Intense tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit. Slightly hazy gold, medium, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More bitter tropical fruits, unripe mango, passion fruit, papaya, mango peel, bitter orange, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Alright. Keg at GABF17, Denver.
3.412oz bottle Pours golden with a white head and plenty of sediment. Bitter grapefruit and pine notes. Fairly typical west coast IPA. It's good but expected it to like it more than I did.
2.6Bottle. Gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas of barley syrup, over-ripe mango, wet evergreen, and eggy sulfur. Flavors of tropical citrus, pine cone, florals, and black pepper. Medium bodied with a somewhat harsh leafy bitterness. Tastes ok, but significant aroma issues.
3.8Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma - Citrus, pine, strawberry marmeleade. Taste - Bitter, grapefruit, pine, mango.
4.212oz bottle acquired at France 44. Consumed with blonderedhead in a sweet snifter glass sporting an Avery logo. Beautiful deeper orange and golden color. Looks like the flesh of a clementine in color. Strong lacing. Nose is tropical fruit and maybe a hint of spice like rye. Taste is sweeter than others of the style at least at the onset. Good pineapple and tangerine qualities. This does a good job of incorporating the rye characteristic towards the end. Finish leans on hoppy bitterness but doesn't overwhelm. Very solid beer overall. I dig it.
3.8Pale golden orange pour with a thin white soapy head and light lacing .... aroma of dank and citrusy hops grapefruit, some tropical notes stone fruit, peaches and a floral bite as well as spicy rye ..... taste is of tropical fruits, pineapple, passion fruit and stone fruit, citrusy grapefruit, peach and orange along with spicy rye and some floral notes ..... finish is very dry and bitter with dank and juicy fruit with a spicy rye bite .... solid and sessionable
4.0It's a lot like the brewery's description. Loads of fresh hops and plenty of malt to balance that out. Smooth body, almost too smooth. Good stuff.
