4.8 To me, this is the norm for a black IPA. I've tried a lot so far but they're all very thin & watery compared to this one. It's just perfect. They've changed the can from purple to yellow & blue ... I do hope they won't change the recipe or brewing process after the takeover!
4.3 Beavertown Black Betty Black IPA 7.4%. Blackish Ruby Red, roasted malt aroma, medium bodied, burnt caramel malt, citrus, orange peel, dark fruit. Incredible Black IPA from London
3.7 Can, 330ml. Brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma has hop spice, malt, sweetness. Flavour has lots of alcohol, deeply malty, a little blackberry, clove, chocolate, soft citrus. Moderate carbonation. Very nice.
4.4 Color negro opaco. Espuma beige claro. Aroma a café y algo herbal. Sabor moderado a torrefacto y agradable amargor. Muy equilibrada. El alcohol se nota un poco pero está muy buena.
4.3 Slightly sour and sweet dark fruit aroma stands out, but it doesn't prepare you for the flavour assault that comes. Caramel, chocolate, dark fruit, notes of coffee, a slight bitterness but stronger flavours of roasted malt. The medium body gives this a creamy texture which only improves the superb flavours.
3.8 Nice fruity aroma with little bit of roast, subtle but quite nice. Pitch black color with small to medium sized brown head. Herbal taste, fruity, very well balanced and tasty. Medium body, average carbonation. Tap at Fakin 3.6, can 3.8.

2.6 Chocolate caramel malt aroma. Black colour good head and lacing. Malt burnt caramel flavour. Fizzy palate.
3.3 The Local Taphouse draft (8-Jul-18) Choc herbal spirit aroma. Jet black, brown head and suds lacing. Spirit plum choc flavour. Bitter roast malt finish and a spirit plum herbal aftertaste.
3.7 Can. Hazy brown with a huge beige head, quite stable. Aroma of piney hops, roasted grains and coffee, a bit earthy and grassy. Medium malty sweetness, coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, piney, dark fruits, pineapple, bitter finish, pretty balanced. Medium bodied, lively carbonation. Very nice.
3.6 Can. Sweaty pineapple, citrus, light metallic, pine, light roast aroma. Black, tanned foam. Medium body, a bit dank sticky sweetness, grassy, sweat, light hop burn, roast, dank and perfumed retronasal. Dry finish with a bit hop plaque.

3.7 Can. Dark brown nearly black body with tan head. Aroma is dried fruits roasted malts. Taste is nearly the same but with some more roasted malts n Aftertaste is nice balanced.
3.5 Can from Edeka - dark brown color, beige head. nose is fruity hoppy, artifical softdrink. taste is more subtle but still nice. decent maltyness mixed with the typical BIPA hoppyness. glad I found this.

4.1 Pirkts Beļģijā. Bundžā. Aromāts svaigs apinains. Garšā ļoti patīkama sākums Saldens pāriet neuzmaciga rūgtuma
3.5 Decent maltiness with deep roast, some pine hops, corduroy. Light sweet with moderate bitterness
3.9 A lot to fresh hops kick in from the start, pineapple and roasted malts. Great balance of flavors, slightly to the bitter side which works well Very good
4.0 Smells like pine needle hops - magnum? Looks great in glass - dark brown with white head. Tastes bitter with some maltyness. Very nice black ipa
3.8 Can. Jet black with a creamy beige head that lasts and clings to the glass. Well balanced. Roasted malt, very fresh hoppy overtone, initial plum sweetness then a bitter finish, good mouthfeel, alcohol there but hidden well. Excellent.
3.8 Drunk from a can. Lovely, mild dark beer, with a slight taste of hops, with bitter, toast, roasty flavors coming through. Wouldn't quite describe it as a 'Black IPA', but will drink again.
3.5 Mitad IPA, mitad Stout
Excellent !
3.0 330ml can, unfiltered, from an online shop. Drunk straight from the fridge as it expected with craft beer. This is OK. A decent level of roasted malts produce a smooth, tasty, and satisfying beer. Nice mouthfeel - though there is some residual carbonation in here which is uncomfortable in the stomach. I didn't find the hops obtrusive. Overall this has been a pleasant and tasty beer.
3.5 From a can pours nearly black with biege head. Smells good, tastes good but could be better.
3.7 On tap at Fakin Zagreb. Almost black coloured, small pale beige head, light hops and chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, decent herbal hop profile and slightly grapefruity with moderate bitterness. Dry bitter finish. Nice one.
3.6 On tap at Fakin bar, Zagreb. Dark brown color with beige head. Roasted malt and caramel aroma with herbal notes. Bitter hoppy taste with some malt sweetnes. Solid BIPA, but there are better ones.
4.1 Pour is dark brown with a small tan head, aroma is shed loads of dark tangy berries with loads of hoppy aromas. Taste is roasty malts with some caramel sweetness. A medium bitterness at the back. Lovely dark ipa, combines the bitterness of an ipa with the roasted malts of porters/stouts
4.1 Can from JK Fine Foods. An attractive dark ruby brown with a tall creamy light tan head. Nose has plenty of berry fruitiness. A fudgy sweet follow up with a finishing floral bitterness. It’s really nice and all blends beautifully. The flavours have layers of caramel malt touched lightly with roastiness and a zesty fruity balanced bitterness. It feels like it’s pitched perfectly with a refreshing full body and gentle sparkle. A really fragrant, fruity and drinkable BIPA. Yet another superb beer from Beavertown.
4.2 Can, courtesy of theydon_bois. Thanks Colin! Medium, tan head on a black body with a red-ish brown body. Orange zest, grapefruit, dark chocolate, fruity coffee, spuce, resin, berries. Soft sweetness, with a slightly tart, lightly bitter finish. Creamy medium body with soft carbonation. There's a lot of good beer around, but it's hard to describe what makes a beer great. But when you have it in front of you, you immediately just know. This beer has "it". It's round, creamy, fruity, well balanced - great stuff.
