4.0 (Can, taster, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 4 Dec 2021) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, tropical fruit and pineapple. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of mango, citrus, pineapple, tropical fruit, lemon candy, soft malt and a balanced citric bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Rich and tasty with a good hop profile and a balancing malt presence. But you had me already with Deftones. Very nice.
3.3 16oz in Trumer glass. Sub-clear golden with fluffy, lasting foam. Pungent leafy, earthy, woody aromas. An initial blast of candy (underattenuated?) sweetness gets washed over with a wave of green embitterment. Bigness on the palate from resins and sugars. An interesting drop, somewhat reminiscent of the Belgian (and "Belgian") IPAs that were kicking around about a decade ago.
3.9 Muy buena ipa algo cítrica de espuma ligera y aspecto ipa puro. Cítrica y frutal poco mineral. Muy agradable
2.6 --Canned at Bearbeer tasting. -- Cloudy golden, rich lively head. Faint peach aroma. Very sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Velvetty malt with spun sugar, canned peach. Evident hop burn. No bitterness.
3.8 C
3.7 Draft at Muck & Fuss. Hazy pale golden, lacing head. A little dank, piney. Smooth, despite the dank. Nice one.
3.9 Can from Vessel. Slightly hazy auburn with a huge bubbly white head. Sweet stone fruit aroma. West coast all the way, bitter hoppy stone fruit.
3.4 RBSG 2017. Hazed golden beer with a white head. Malty and bready up front with some lemon, orange, and a bit of pineapple after. Slight spicy grapefruit note. Finishes with some bitter grass and citrus rind. Slightly dank. Okay.
3.8 Got this because I used to listen to Deftones way back when. It's actually a deliciously balances IPA, but nothing that blows my mind. I would LOVE to have them make a IIPA or IIIPA if they did such a good job on a basic IPA.
3.7 1 pint can. Unclear golden, fluffy head. A lot of pine, resin, herbal grassy hops, grapefruit, caramel and honey. Herbal hoppy bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, long hoppy bitter finish. A nice classic West Coast IPA!
3.8 Can picked up from www.drankgigant.nl Webshop, Vlissingen, Netherlands and consumed at home Friday 14th May 2021 we had homemade Chicken Schnitzels and Potato Wedges for tea. Listening to Tom Robinson on 6Music. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Soft mouthfeel, nice, really nice. Solid bittersweet balance, good bite,
3.6 Rocky white head stayed on a translucent light amber coloured body. Malt & pine aroma. Medium bodied, sharp & clean. Bitter, pine, resin, grapefruit & bubble gum tastes with a sweeter citrus finish. Big hop hitter
3.4 Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours slightly hazy golden - amber with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is sticky grapefruit, tangy, piney, resin, bready, dull toffee, peppery spice and as it warms a monkey nut character.... The taste is firmly dry, bitter, resinous, pine needles, sticky west coast green vibes, sticky, oily, nutty edge, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, pomelo and a touch of alcohol with a drying, zesty finish. Medium body and average carbonation. The monkey nut vibe is a bit off-putting to the overall experience. It's fine, but underwhelming.
3.1 Can at home, can date 9/8/20. Almost clear golden, big foamy white head. Pine, malty - way top old. Medium body, low carbonation.
3.7 Can. Slightly hazy pale amber with a thickly lacing white head. Bread, tropical fruit, floral and cake aroma. Medium bodied and quite smooth. Medium bitter and sweet.
3.9 Clear gold pour, finger of solid white. Nose is citrus and peach. Middle is citrus, peach, touch guava, medium to light kilned malt, some subtle pine resin on the tongue. Finish carries the citrus, piney bitterness forward with a measured pace.
4.2 Blik 47,3cl thuis. Juicy, zoet, licht pine, licht bitter, licht sticky mouthfeel, fruitig, perzik, mango, bloemig, bitters, licht droog. (17-1-2021).
3.6 473 ml can poured at home. Day 23 (on the 24th) of the self created craft beer advent calendar. Pours golden with a sticky off white head. Smells like piney and floral hops. Taste is perfume with piney hop finish. Easy drinking IPA.
4.0 Burk. Disig mörkorange med ett smutsvitt skum. Dofter av apelsin, grapefrukt, malt och tall. Smakinslag av apelsin, grapefrukt, blomster, vått gräs och tall. Medelbeska. Välkomponerad beska/sötma. Mycket bra.
3.9 Wednesday, October 28, 2020 6:18 PM 16 ounce can poured to tulip Sight: pale/very light amber, light tan foam disappears quicky, some lacing` Smell: fragrant, hoppy, citrusy Taste: low medium bitterness, some sweetness, Mouthfeel: lively carbonation long bitter follow through, sweet and bitter aftertaste Overall: Very good beer. ok to repeat, not look for BA RB
3.6 Can, 0.473l. Aroma of peach, melon, mango, passion fruit and resin. Pours cloudy golden color with medium sized frothy white head, nice lacing and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts ripe fruity and biscuity, following is resinous, bready, dank, medicinal and herbal, while finish is pretty bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Phantom fruitiness & devil’s maltiness...
3.6 Liquide jaune clair, mousse anonyme. Nez : fruité, végétal Bouche ronde, légèrement effervescente, malts, fruits (citron, orange amère etc.), épice, herbes, pin. Finale sèche et amère
3.8 Aroma is guava, clove, and honey. Taste is light sweet grains and tropical fruits. Juicy, dank, and oily.
3.8 Tall boy can from AmeriCAN just off the strip at ameriCAN on an unexpected Vegas vacation. This is a fantastic west coast IPA. The medium bitterness is perfectly balanced without getting sweet. Very easy drinking. Nicely done old school, west coast IPA.
3.7 Bonne ipa, bien équilibrée, se boit bien.
4.0 De beer republic. Molt bona. Delicada, sedosa, molt equilibrada. Citrica i herbal, amb amargor continguda.
2.6 This was very ok. I can see the quality and why people like it, but it was not for me. Also I LOVE the Deftones and the song this was named after.
4.2 Turbid golden beer with a slight off-white head. Medium/heavy aroma; taste starts medium sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry. Orange, tropical fruit, hops and citrus. 8/5/8/4
4.0 A tall can purchased at a private liquor store in the Greater Vancouver area. A medium amber semi-opaque beer with moderate white head and a faintly citrus nose. I gotta say right away, this here strikes a delicate and delicious balance of various hop varieties and malt backup. The malt is rather sweet, but that is nicely balanced by the substantial hop component. Balance is the neat trick that makes this’n a winner! 🍺🍺🍺🍺
3.9 Pale yellow pour. Lots of tropical fruits with a dry ending. Very well balanced ipa
