Belhaven Craft Pilsner

Belhaven Craft Pilsner

Bottle: Filtered

Craft Pilsner is brewed using 100% Scottish barley, classic lager yeast, and water drawn from our own brewery well. A long, cool fermentation and extended maturation produce a classic continental style pale lager with a pleasant biscuity aroma and a fresh lightly malted flavour.

3.3 Butelka 0,33 litra. Barwa złota, klarowna. Piękna, biała piana, wysoka i trwała.
3.2 pretty good. That's 3 of a 6 mix. Once again, not a traditional tasting Pils. But ok.
4.0 It's a bit sweet. Best pilsner I ever try.
1.7 Bottle. Clear dark golden color, small white head. Sweet, floral aroma, light diacetyl note. Sweet taste, low bitterness. Malt, corny sweet aftertaste, little spice and floral notes. Medium carbonation, full body.
4.0 Light and easy to drink beer
4.0 Nice
2.4 Lys gul. Let malt, brød, let humlet og krydret, let krop Bottle at home. Clear light yellow w a white head. Aroma light to medium malty (caramel) and hoppy. Flavor light to medium sweet, then bitter. Light to medium body, average carbonated.
2.7 Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into flute glass. Appearance: Amber colour, medium head. Aroma: Malt, grains/barley, herbs. Palate: Medium body; moderate carbonation. Taste: Malt, grains/barley, light bitter aftertaste. Overall impression: Good enough and drinkable, but nothing remarkable.
3.1 33cl bottle from Pastures Discount foods. Thin white head. Clear golden pour. Easy drinking.
2.5 Tap at Harewood Downs Golf Club. Pours clear golden body with a white head. Malts and citrus citrus in both aroma and taste. Quite crisp and refreshing.
3.3 Pivo lijepe zlatne boje,pjene koja brzo nestaje,mirisa i okusa kukuruza..fino i slatkasto..nije lose
3.2 Pours a golden colour. Taste is malty and dry with a touch of sweetness. As good as any German or Czech pilsener
3.4 Ordinær men velsmagende pilsner. Dejlig frisk øl, uden megen fylde. Tilpas bitterhed.
2.3 Zlatno zuta boja, tanka bijela pjena, kratkotrajna. Citrusno medne arome, kao i arome kvasca i sira. Blage gorčine, kratkog blago gorkog finiša. Vodene teksture, jake karbonizacije.
3.0 Bottle. Clean gold with a full head. Aroma of grainy malt. Flavour is fruit hop and grainy malt, crisp finish.
3.2 Crystal-clear, copper colour, barely any head, subtle bubbling. Smell is dusty peppery with a slight chlorine bitter and mildly mildewy sweetness. Bready. Taste is sweetish bitter malty with a nice fizz. Finish is clean with light astringency. 100% pils. Elegant. Subtle..
3.0 resin, floral, grass, spruce, citrus, herbs, pale, golden, amber, clear, hazy, rocky head, frothy, minimal head, white foam, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, medium sourness,
3.4 Bottle. Light russet colour with white head and mild lacing. Bready nose.
2.9 Not always a fan oh Pilsner but this one was good probably because it's leaning towards an ale. I liked it.
2.8 Pale golden pour. The nose is lightly floral and a bit grassy with a touch of pepper and some fairly malty character. Pils malt and a bit of light sweetness. Has a little bit of sweetness. Malt is pretty decent. A touch grainy with some light pepper and a bit of floral character. Decent enough.
3.7 I don't know if this is the fact that I'm happy because I'm starting my holiday season, but I'm impressed with this one, part of the Belhaven Holiday 6-pack. As I'm not a big fan of pils, this one is really above average in my book. I like the crispness/sharpness of the taste. Well done.
3.0 Pours clear gold with almost no head. Aroma is sweet malt. Taste is a little sweet, a little sour and a tiny bit bitter. There are notes of biscuit malt, a bit of lemon and a seasoning of noble hops. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Pretty standard pilsener.
3.4 Not a typical Pilsner but more of an amber lager for me. Clean, crisp taste. Foam doesn't last which also speaks against a typical Pilsner. Tastes nice just don't agree with the classification.
2.6 Gold, small white head. Light malt nose.Palate is medium bodied with Moretti like malt. Missing noble hop flavor, more of a malty lager than a pils
2.7 From bottle pours a clear golden colour with small white head, aroma is slightly cereal/grainy malt with a very faintly citrus/lemon hop note. Taste is lightly sweet and lightly bitter, ever so slightly tart. This is a light bodied pilsner with average carbonation and quite watery. Not a great beer but certainly inoffensive.
3.1 Bottle from Yamaya. Deep gold pour, thin bright white head lasting nearly the whole glass. Sweet biscuit malt aroma, some gentle lemony hops. A touch a oxidation which is also present in the flavour, but it’s not too off-putting and sits under the dominant sweet grain. Some Noble-esque herbal hop bitterness presents in the back half. It’s pleasant enough to drink, medium body, but not very lively feel, not crisp and “craft” like on the label. Probably goes alright at the source.
2.9 Bottle from Yamaya. Faint nose, slightly oxidized, light spicy hops, old malt, rather British hopping it would seem. Golden orange with lace. Oxidized and clearly not in great condition, ok biscuit malt, grains, light lemon and herbal hops. Low carbonation, smooth. Might be nice if fresh, this is lame.
3.9 Great Pilsner. Clean, crisp and refreshing. Easy drinking with nice finish.
2.6 Bottle from local Yamaya store. Nose of toasted malt, hay or grass, and bread. Clear dark gold color. Flavors of light malt, corn, and gentle grassy hops. Thin-medium body. Rather sweet for a pils, or even a "craft" pils -- but not bad.
