3.3Clear pinky amber with thin head. Aroma of malty fruit. Taste of initially of fruit flavours then a light bitterness to finish. An interesting ale, worth a go I reckon.
2.3Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Amber color. Red fruit and strawberry juice in the aroma. Caramel, strawberry and butter in the flavor. Soft bitter finish, but overall sweet.
3.40,5l bottle from Brittish Store, Budapest. Shared and co-rated with "kovika91". Clear, light amber color with medium, off-white head. Interesting dry, roasty aroma with spicy hops. The interesting forest fuity, berry flavour. Much grainy then regular fruit beers. Malt and caramel also appears, like in brown ales. Dry, light bitter-sweet taste. Light body, slick texture, average carbonation. Dry, caramel and roasty finish with some fruity flavour. Not a bad one, but it’s not a classic fruit beer. It’s like a fruiy brown ale. Light, delicious beer.

3.1Oct 2006: Found this bottle the morning after a Bavarian evening I hosted, someone obviously got lost in the beer shop, or couldn’t be arsed to find any German beer (as the invite insisted on).
Looked OK in a Belgian ’Verboden Vrucht’ glass, as I thought that would be fair to the beer. Amber colour with a good soild head, almost white. Sadly, it left the scene fairly swiftly, to leave a swisp of remains stuck to the side of the glass, joined by a few remaining strings of white.
Blackberry, Blackcurrent and Raspberries hit me straight away, but like the head, didn’t seem to stay to long, which was a shame, because I was begining to think this might be a great beer.
The taste also changed mid-beer, all fruits at first, with lemon taking over towards the end of the pint.
No great mouthfeel, taking on the Belgians with an ABV of only 4.6% for a fruit beer was very brave, unfortunately they were not brave enough in my opinion and have failed big time.
Nothing wrong with this beer, it just didn’t ’do it’ for me.
3.2It has a pale copper colour with small white head. Aroma of malts and berries. Slightly bitter finish and refreshing aftertaste. Medium-to-full body.
2.9Tried this one back in 2008 so from notes alone.
Radiant, fiery amber with fast and furious carbonation. Solid, whipped cream dollop atop laces the glass well. Awry aroma of tree sap and wood, vineclippings, musk and trodden old berry fruit. In the mouth the fruit is muddled under notes of sweet toffee, fruit mince and peat smoke. The body is bigger than anticipated, it’s smooth down the back and spritzy on the tip of the tongue. Sweetish, savoury fruit mince swallow lingers with just enough sugar. A light note of wood and the smoky peat is just enough to stop it being cloying. Lacks depth, but honestly wasn’t a bad drop. Just don’t get why ’fruit’ in a bitter. (50cL, BBE 12/08, Rose Hotel Bunbury)
2.8500ml clear glass bottle (K Kamppi, Helsinki)
Sweet jammy buttery aroma. Some grains makes me connfuse this for toast for breakfast. Adequate beeriness, and not spoilt too much by the juicy fruitiness. A touch of karpalo (cranberry) and black grape. Even some roastiness in laces. Simple and smooth, and a bit emasculated, but not as bad as I expected from the Greede Kerching stable. Looked good, but I fined them for the clear glass.
2.9Bottle (500ml, £1.12 from Tesco):
Pale amber with a 2 finger white fluffy head that lasts throughout.
A mix of sweet butterscotc, summer fruits (raspberry, cherry) & faint floral hops aroma at the end.
Spicy hops & the fruit from the nose make up the taste. More of a bitter than fruit beer. There is also a malty, biscuit like taste around the middle & the finish is moderately bitter.
A smooth beer but the body was a little thin if anything & too light. The finish quite dry & bitter but not overly disappointing.
Not what I was expecting at all from this beer judging by the label, I naturally thought I’d be getting a fruit beer but at least this one was drinkable, if not good.rather than a bitter going by the name but I’m actually glad as some of the fruit beers I’ve tried in the past have been downright awful, this was at least drinkable.

2.7Reddish copper colour. White head. Toffee, biscuit and berries. Slightly bitter finish. Medium full body.
2.3500 ml bottle. Finland.
Clear deep golden colour with tiny off-white head.
Mild fruit and berry aroma with malt. It’s like müsli with red berries.
Some hoppy bitterness, sweet berry/fruity juice and grainy malt in flavour. Berries get just annoying.
2.8Bottle. Pours amber with a lot of bubbles inside and a large, white head. Aroma is strongly caramel, a hint of floral hops. Taste is caramel with some floral hops on the finish. Hints of strawberry and raspberry in the aftertaste. Palate is very carbonated and not too light. Alright, but nothing special. Surprisingly enjoyable and sessionable. Can’t really find the fruits of the name or the berries of the label in the aroma or taste though.
2.7500 ml bottle. Rated @ 25.6.2011.
Pours a copper colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of raspberries, blackcurrant, hay and some malts. Flavour of malts, caramel, sweet raspberries, blackcurrant and cardboard. Medium bodied with rough carbonation and a finish of dry malts and some grass. Summery and it would be neat to try the cask version.
1.7Bottle. Light amber, small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, caramel sweetish aroma, artificial berry fruitiness. Body is light to medium, sweetish flavor, caramel and toffee, sweet fruitiness. Finish is short to average, sweetish berry fruitiness, caramel and some toffee. Horrible…
2.6Pours amber with a low head. Aroma is artificial fruits. Flavor is bitter malts with some fruits. Surprisingly decent.
2.9clear mahogany with a white head. Nice and fresh, light and fruity. Very easy.
2.9Home 20110424 (50 cl bottle): A clear beer with golden yello (light orange) clour and a good, thin white head. The aroma is malty. fruit (cherry, strawberry) and some vanille. The taste is some malty, sweetness (caramel) and fruit (cherry, strawberry). In the aftertaste still some seetness and a little hopbitter.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Rich flavour. Dry palate. Complex array of fruits - raspberry, blackberry, strawberry and blackcurrant. Not bad.
2.8Bottle. Hazy orange pour with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet caramel, sweet berries like forest fruit and light peach. The flavour is sweet fruity with notes of berries and caramel. Fruity finish.
3.0Bottle - Clear. Redish. Thick off white head. Medium carbonation. A little thin. A subtle berry flavour in the background and a dry finish.
1.3pouring a dark orange, almost red colour with a slightly off-white head and with a nose the reminded me of mixed fruit jam, my favourite, I allowed myself to be cautiously optimistic. Oh dear. The body was horribly thin, yes it tasted like fruit jam, but fruit jam so watered down that I seriously considered pouring it away. It wasn’t truly bad, but neither was it something I will want to drink again.
2.5Bottle from Tesco. Aroma of malts and spices, not really fruit. Light golden brown colour. Dry malty flavour, goes down a bit rough. I don’t really understand how this is a fruit beer. More of a slight spicy average bitter.
2.6Bottle. Clear amber/orange colour with medium creamy white mostly diminishing head. Fruity aroma. Sweet fruity flavor.
2.6Bottled. Hazy orange colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity and lots of berries as well (strawberries and raspberries are the strongest). Flavour is quite much the same. Not that exciting.
3.9Bottle 10 C; Scotland
Lovely fruity flavors (raspberry, strawberrys, blackberrys etc) Brewed according to Germans traditions? Anyhow the beer also have a maltyness that is distinct.
2.7Bottle, March 2007. Hazy orange colour. Very prominent fruit aroma - mainly strawberry. A bit artificial. Soft and sweetish on the palate. More fruit. Quite palatable but rather insubstantial.
2.5(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a mid-sized beige foamy head. Sweet and moderately malty nose with distinctive fruity notes of red berries, strawberries and raspberries, leaving not much space for something else. Amabile flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slim malt-character with slightly marmalade-like fruity notes; slim and fruit-accented finish. Might be refreshing in the summer, not my cup of tea (14.VII.09).
2.5Bottle at Københavnske Øldage 2009.
Clear golden coloured with a small white head.
Sweet aroma of caramel and berries.
Sweet flavour of caramel and berries.
Berryish finish.
Light watery.
2.5Bottled(500ml). -at Kaledonia Budapest. Dark orange coloured, small white head that disappeared fast, fruity berries nose. Weak blackberries and raspberries taste with surprisingly touch of hops in the finish. Watery palate, quite unbalanced beer.
