3.9 God smag af nødder og en lille smule alkohol. En fin ale med smag af malten.
3.4 Aroma: caramel, candy, malty. Appearance: deep amber color and creamy head. Taste: caramel, roasted malt, nutty, slightly astringent. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation. Overall: decent 80-shillings, smooth and creamy.
3.5 Can poured into a pint glass at Victoria Free House. Mostly clear deep copper pour with a large amount of dense foam. Soft sweet medium caramel malts. Creamy texture. Bit too sweet for me.
5.0 Great ale. Scottish pub in Vermont on tap
4.0 Deliciosa, una ale ligera
3.6 On tap at Epcot Scotland Pours amber with a creamy off-white head, some lacing. Bisquity, sweet toffee. Flavor of toffee, sweet grains, straw and bitters I don't know if its the heat, but this tastes damn good.
3.2 On tap at Scottish House (Keila). Pours amber colour. Nedium white head. Bitterness, caramel, slight notes of honey, grassy notes in the aroma. Bitter beginning. Honey-like sweetness. Bit watery in the middel. Sweet, caramelly finish. Sweetness in the aftertaste. Moderately carbonated, light bodied ale.
2.5 Boca 0,33L - kupljena u ROTO....napokon jedan bitter poslije Barbinog Engleza koji mi se sviđa..
4.8 Bottle. This one is a long-time favorite pour. Dark amber with clarity. Nice head but diminishes through drink on bottled version. Perfect malty beer to go with meals. Great with a real fish and chips. I should buy this one more often.
3.3 I actually liked it, it was light and fragrant. Had a bite at the end but doesn't overpower the finish. I would like to try it on tap, but overall it was ok
3.3 Bottle, 330 ml from Gem Shop, Zagreb. Pours deep orange to brown, off white head. Caramel, toasted, nutty, sweetish and bitter. Dry finish. Medium bodied. Better than expected.
3.7 330ml bottle. Amber-ish body with a low head. Caramel, nuts, biscuits, lactose. Quite tasty.
1.7 W aromacie delikatny karmel i wyraźne żelazo. W smaku totalnie wodniste, puste, mocno nagazowana woda z brązowym cukrem. Meh.
3.1 Pours caramel with creamy white head. Aroma is sourish, caramel, creamy, bitter, some milk. Taste is caramel, watery, some bitterness, light milk, raisin, some fruits. Drinkable, but watery.
3.8 On nitro at gaithersburg British bar. Aroma of toasty bread, toffee. Caramel. Biscuits. Malt dominated. No hop aroma. Appearance is dark amber, clear. White off white head. Persistent as is expected for nitro. Good lacing. Flavor is toasty bready. Caramel. moderate hop bitterness but malt dominates. Moderate dry finish with lingering bitterness in aftertaste. No residual sweetness. Medium full body. Low carbonation as should be for nitro beer. Mediums dry finish.
3.3 330ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with a thin very pale beige head. Mineral heavy nose with apple, raisin, faint vanilla, brown sugar, and very light resinous notes. Taste wise, sweet with lots of dried fruit like notes, honey, brown sugar and a light woody note that leads into sweet darker malt, dried fruit, light spice and just a bit of mineral bitterness in the finish. It’s a bit sweet for my tastes, but the taste profile is pleasant.
3.1 Bottle. Clear amber body, small beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma of caramel, grains, nuts, toffee and fruits jam. Taste of caramel, bread, toffee and pears. Ok.
4.4 Very smooth medium dark beer with a bit of nutty follow through. Fairly foamy on the pour.
2.3 Below average Scottish ale. Kinda flat and dull aroma along with a sweet nutty taste.
3.1 Bottle as a gift from my son. 5.2% U.S. version. Dark copper, off white head. Aroma was malty, caramel, light nut. Taste was bittersweet, very malty, nuts.
2.1 butelka 330ml. Uzupełniam swój profil na ratebeer, piwo wypite jakiś czas temu.
3.2 Mid-brown pour with little head. Malty, somewhat sweet with light toffee and caramel flavours. Nice enough.
2.6 33cl pullo, 5.2%, BBE JUL2017. Tummanpunertava väri, niukka nopea vaahto. Suutuntuma vinyyli/kumimainen, nopea, hapokas, raikas, yksinkertainen. Juotava.

3.2 0.3 bottle, pours dark ruby color with small white head. Nutty, malty aroma. Flavor is smooth, light to medium sweet. Nutty again. Light body, soft carbonation.
3.3 Pours a dark rusty color with an ephemeral beige head. Nose is sweet malt and tobacco . Taste is full of thick slightly bitter caramel , malt and heavy sweet toffee . Finishes on the same thick tasting notes, poor lacing with a moderately short finish . Quaff Score 6 / 10
3.0 Clear, copper colored, small off white head. Aroma is of malt, bit biscuit, bready. Taste is medium sweet malt, bready, some biscuit, light toast, very subtle fruity notes, grassy light bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit oily. (bottle)
2.3 Geruch hopfig, leicht-würzig mit schwacher Malznote. Antrunk süßlich-malzig. Mitte säuerlich und süßmalzig. Würzmalziger Abschluß. Geht so.
3.0 Draft at Kasey’s Tavern in Chicago. Nitro. Cloying malt aroma. Caramel and biscuity malts up front. Ultra creamy palate. Hint of sweet hickory smoke. Just a bit of bittering hops on the finish. Light bodied and one dimensional.
