2.9 OLD NOTES JAN 12, 2004 Smells of tart raspberries. Pours a clean ruby body with a golden tinge to it, light tan head atop. Sweet raspberry with slight hop action on the tongue, but not really strongly flavoured. Quite sour, with a foamy kind of mouthful with just a touch of bitterness and dry after feel. As with the Kriek, I feel like i’m drinking a wine rather than a beer.
2.0 Rote Brause mit künstlichem Himbeeraroma, übersüßt im Geschmack und völlig frei von irgendeinem Biergeschmack.
2.8 Bit sweet, but luckily there is some raspberry taste that seems real. Not special, but drinkable and decent.
2.6 bottle, pours red, small white foam. taste is sweet, sugary, raspberry , to much carbo , not even a beer...
3.0 25 cL bottle as La becasse Framboise, 5.7%. Pours cloudy deep red with a huge off white head. Aroma is sulphorish and raspberry. Sweet fruity impresssion and medium dry sulphorish. Fruity, roasted and dry. Sweet, fruity and toasted malty. Lingering fruity finish.
2.1 Red color, raspberry aromas, no sour notes on taste and aromas. Very sweet and artificial taste. Tastes like a soda and not like a true framboise.
3.0 250ml bottle. Commercial lambic. Sugary, subtle tartness flavours. Light body, crispy, high carbonation. Correct, but nothing remarkable.
2.2 Bottle. Dark amber color, off pink head. Aroma of cherries. Taste is sugar and cherries. Holy cow.
2.7 Bottle. Pinky amber with a white head. Massive overpowering raspberry sweetness. No good.
4.3 375ml bottle from E.Leclerc. cereal, barnyard, soy sauce, raisin, clove, alcohol, red, cloudy, minimal head, heavy cloying sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness, full body, average carbonation, long finish,
3.6 As fruit beer goes this one retain the flavour and body required to be a great beer.
3.0 Pours a red color with no head. The taste is sweet, fruity with loads of rasberry flavors. Finshes sweet.
3.6 330 mL bottle poured red into goblet with pink champagne style head. Aroma of raspberries, initial taste sweet, raspberries finishing tart. Good carbonation and medium body gives a nice mouthfeel to this beer.
3.5 Bottle 25cl, a clear red beer with small reddish head. Nose is fruity and lactic. Aroma is very nice, fruity on raspberry, not too sweet, very drinkable and a bit lactic (yogurt aroma), one of the best fruit beer I had.
2.6 Poured a clear ruby red with a nice head. Good aroma. The problem is that it is way too sweet. Not in the same league as other fruit beers like New Glarus Raspberry Tart.
2.8 Bottle. Pours a ruby body with a thin off white head. Way to sweet, sucrose, fructose, sweet raspberries. Very sweet soda like, some grainy notes a hint floral. Not very good, even as a fruit beer.
2.9 Bottle in Brussels. Dark red body with pink head. Sweet and fruity nose. Taste of fruits and sugar. Syrupy in the finish. Not so bad actually.
2.5 red coloured body with a white head a sweet fruity (raspberry) aroma a sweet fruity (raspberry) taste with a fruit bitter finish
3.3 Pours with huge and stable pink head and a dark rose colour. Aroma is quite perfumy, some flower and raspberry and a bit of wood, only a slight hint of syrup. Taste is a mix of citrus and malt, saddle leather, slight fruitiness. Medium-dry finish. A better mass-produced lambic.
3.4 Bottle 2010-02-28 Göteborg AR: framboise (sour) AP: purple, wee pink head F: framboise ice cream
3.2 Bottle at Plan B, Best Before 2004. Amber colour with a small off white head. Aroma is syrup like raspberries, wood and weak notes of hay. The flavour was not as sweet as feared, but non-sweet honey like and raspberries with a woody and sour touch to it.
3.7 375ml bottle from the LCBO. Big aroma of raspberries. Taste is sweet and tart. Goes good on vanilla ice cream.
3.0 I’m really starting to like fruit beers. I had this one the other night and I was quite pleased. Had a pleasant sweet and sour taste. Real raspberry taste. Very good.
2.9 Bottle, bought @ Bierpaleis, Brügge. Pours a wonderful, clear, dark red with a staying, frothy, pink head. Aroma has some grainy malts with the requisite tart/sweet raspberries. Medium carbonation, fair mouthfeel. Flavour is relatively sweet, there are notes of almonds and malts. The raspberries hace only very light tartness. Lambic? Not really...
3.2 Got a sixer of this :You know after almost dieing last year, Ive found a new optimism, that was in fact an old optimism. It means I do things I would not of had the guesto to do before, like buying six packs of beer with raspberries in them:Not exactly a Cantillon, but its not as bad as some of the negative press. It smells authentic and drinks down being less sugary than some Lambics with sugar added . Not very sour or acidic . A bit of a chick beer cause of these factors , but it is plesant stuff.
1.5 Wow - very disapointing. Pours a greyish brown color with a very slightly off-white head. Flavor is like sickly sweet cherry soda. Reminds me of a "Franks Black Cherry Wishniak" soda. Musty, non-earthy, not tart, getting dumped in the drain.
3.4 big pink head, nice lacingredish copper color. Nose is realy nice not fake like usual rasberries, lambic tartness. pretty carbonated but nicenot to sweet the lambic is there and the rasberrie doesn’t taste like syrup.
3.0 Bottle(thanks dad): not bad, not good but not bad, sweet but not too much, some sourness, some dryness, some real, not artificial, raspberries notes, very drinkable overall.
3.1 A meggyes változat nekem jobban ízlik mint ez.Talán ennek egy kicsit "művibb" íze van.Nem igazán szoktam venni belőle.Ritkán ha gyümölcsös sörre vágyom akkor inkább a kriek.
2.4 I wasn’t expecting real lambic when this was given to me at a dinner party. Pours a medium red with a pink head, with heavy force carbonation. Aroma is sweet raspberrys, with a little bit of sourness, and acidity. wattery, taking a little away from the flavor. All in all, not offensive, but shoudnl’t be called lambic.
