3.0THT December 2019 at Kwartje. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.
4.6Hazy golden with a frothy head.
Floral smell. Fruity, floral taste with the typical note of Belgian blonde beers and an aromatic hoppy undertone of hemp. Medium carbonation.
This is a very nice drink.
3.0Bought at Brewery Creek in 2012, $4 CAD, cellared for 7 years.
Attack: big crisp bite, smooth entry
Mids: lvl4-sweetness, quince, honey barley malt, tangy
Finish: residual liquid malt, slight floral hops
Overall: Pleasant with medium complexity, good depth and balance. Interesting flavour at the start of the mids and then the malts take over. Good.
3.6Draft pour into a teku. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma has creamy, spicy hop character. Sweet and herbal. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall a good beer.
3.2Bottle - pale yellow, large frothy white head. High carbonation. Different but ok aroma - not really citrus. Good mouthfeel. Easy drinking, similar unusual but ok tasting. Overall fine.
3.7A nice showcase of belgian yeast. Clean beer with lots of phenols that are desirable. online saveaur bier
2.9Bottle at home, bought at Carrefour. Very nice, even intriguing nose, the taste is round and a bit too sweet.
2.6Bottle at home. Clear golden color with small particles floating in it, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, softly bitter, lightly dusty. Decent body, smooth texture, quite soft carbonation.
3.0Feb 2019. 330ml brown bottle, unfiltered, from MonoPrix, Marseille. A pleasant, yeasty beer. Light orange colour. Easy drinking. Feels more alcoholic than 6.5%
3.3Bottle.Hazy yellow colour with medium head.Aroma of coriander and yeast, lively body and nice hint of citrus and yeast, nice spicey and fresh with hint of cookie and malt.
3.6Bottle (not sure where from), consumed at home Tuesday 22nd January 2019 whilst cooking Ham, Pea and crispy Onion soup with Feta. Pours gold, good clarity with a white head. This is a rather decent straightforward Belgian beer, nothing complicated or out of the ordinary but there is a nice bitter edge, its got a pleasant sweetness but certainly not too sweet. Like it. 2.519/XI/18 - 33cl bottle @ Horeca Expo Gent, BB: n/a - (2018-1704)
Clear blond to orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: sweetish, yeast, lots of ripe banana, bit fruity, spicy. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very yeasty, spices, cloves, lots of banana peel, more banana. Aftertaste: slightly bitter, metallic touch, little bitter, more yeast, banana, a bit too sweet.
3.7Saveur de rose.
3.6Robe blonde, mousse peu persistante.
3.7Bottle from the Standing Order.
Appearance - cloudy golden amber with neat lacing.
Nose - toffee and yeast. Fudge in fact. Oranges.
Taste - candied orange and yeast and white pepper.
Palate - medium bodied and tangy. Dry tangy and long.
Overall - quite luscious. Almost a little sweet but lovely.
3.4Bottle. Hazy gold with a creamy white head. Floral notes, citrus, yeast, clove, honey. Not bad.
3.8White beer with lots of flavor, I like it. And the taste of alcohol is not that strong
3.3Copenhagen 13/10 2018. 75 cl bottle from meny, Østerfælled torv, Kbh Ø. Lady in black and white with a red rose in her hair. The ABV in very big types on the label.
Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with fairly big white head. Dense. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of compact foam completely obscuring the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is not terribly intense. Sourish and spicy. Sweet, malty backbone. A little candy-like. Acidic overtones of unripe berries.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, lightly prickly and soft texture. A little sticky.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by medium tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour bitter. Lingers shortly.
Fine tart Ale. Reminds me of an malty Saison.
3.4Aroma 7. Appearance 3. Taste 6. Palate 4. Overall 14. Aroma: malt, fruity, and hops. Taste: spices, bitterness. Palate is long, a bit of bitterness.
3.4F: big, white, creamy, good retention.
C: gold, light hazy, yeasty debris.
A: malty, mellow fruity, bit orange peels, spicy, hint of honey, yeasty.
T: malty, honey, fruity, bit spicy, decent bitterness, bit yeasty, medium body and carbonation, nothing very special yet enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Cora Woluwe-Saint-Lambert in Brussels.
3.0Blond clair, limpide, très bonne mousse fine, crémeuse, tient bien. Bonne carbonation.
