2.1 The smell is minimal, bubblegum, banana, butterscotch, apple peel, alcohol. The taste is actually alright, there is some alcohol of course but also sweet corn, sugary, and some complexity. Average look, slight head that disappears, orangish in color, no lacing.
2.0 Bottled 250ml. -from www.beershop.hr Dark golden coloured, small white head, alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel and pretty sharp alcohol presence with also warming alcohol in the finish. One-dimensional boozy stuff. Few months out of BBE date but it doesn’t change much in general.
2.5 The strongest beer ever tasted . Drunk a few years ago , all that I can remember is the sweet alcohol aroma, taste and palate.
1.2 Extremely sweet, which hides the enormous alcohol content well, but also makes it taste awful. Way, way too sweet.
3.0 Bottle at PIB 2015, pours a hazy yellow blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of Belgian yeast, alcohol, and candied sugar. Flavour is very yeast-forward, with loads of Belgian yeast that tingles the tongue, along with light candied sugar and slight alcohol. Not actually that offensive, opposite to what I was expecting. Not very complex but still clean. Decent.
2.9 Pues sí, pedazo de licor. Casi 3 veces mas que una lager flojita. Oscura, poca espuma.
3.7 Aromas of toffee and just a bit of fruit - say pear and a slight hint of orange. Hops really subdued, nut some real alcohol sweetness. Almost reminds me of a light cognac. Color is an unusual and attractive light amber orange. Quite sparse off-white head. Taste is a heavy sweetness but very little bitterness. Light to medium body. Thin, slick texture. Light carbonation. Medium length finish with sweetness, toffee and mild fruit. Overall I like this beer. I like how different and unique it is. Almost like a mild, fruity liquor - reminds me a bit of cognac or sherry. Not something I would want every week, but a nice variation to have once in a while. In some respects it’s not very "beer like" with the high alcohol, fruity flavors, sweetness and lack of hop bitterness. Still an interesting outlier; I am surprised how low the overall Ratebeer average rating is for it.
4.3 caramel, roasty, resin, leather, alcohol, woody, Very strong, almost astringent in taste. Yet not overpowering. Similar to drinking a boilermaker in feel. Could do to sell in larger portions as the serving is quite small.
3.7 Poured from a bottle into a snifter Aroma- Fruit, malt and alcohol Appearance- The color is a dark golden yellow and almost no head Taste- Has a fruit taste and after the second sip the alcohol started to become readily noticeable. Not a bad flavor. Palate- A medium-bodied beer with a low amount of carbonation. Overall- A pretty good beer but it is not a beer that people will want to drink on a regular basis. it is definitely one that beer-fanatics will want to try.
2.6 with yves at his home golden blond colored body with a white head and with a malt hops alcholic aroma a malt hops alcholic bitter sweet taste with a alcholic bitter finish
1.5 NOTA DE CATA: - Vista: Belzebuth 250ml presenta un color naranja y oro. - Nariz: Aromas genuinos. Temperatura ideal: 5-6ºC
2.7 Shared with wim at my home. Clear goldblond colored beer with small white head and only few carbonation Alcoholic malty aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is alcoholic sweet herby dry.
4.0 Attractive dark amber, clear with foamy off-white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is caramel, orange, cereal and alcohol heat. For the first couple of sips, I wondered who needs a blond ale this strong. But then it hit me, or maybe the 13 percent ABV did (down from Jeanne D’Arc). Really extensive flavor range as it warms, with nuts and grass joining the fruit and sweet malt. A little rough, but it opens up given time, and proves strong ale doesn’t need to be dark. I’m pleasantly surprised.
2.7 Bottled. A clear orange beer with a medium slowly desappearing white head. Aroma is malty, caramel and fruity. Taste is also malty caramel. Strong alcohol notes. A bit unbalanced for my taste
3.2 Alcohol, bread, caramel, malt. Orange copper with small white head. Alcohol and malt in the taste. Kinda one dimensional but balanced and smooth. Kinda like sipping on cognac.
3.4 Bottle, 250 ml at Pivkan, Zagreb. Pours orange with small white head. Sweet malty, caramel, toffee, warming alcohol.
2.2 Amber color, weak head. Aroma has alcohol but also bread and grains. Taste is sweet with a hint of bitterness. Alcohol comes quite strong in taste.
2.4 Drank out of the bottle. This is a very delicious Belgian Strong Ale. For a beer that is 13%, this is very good, worth a try.
3.5 So strong that is smells and tastes almost disgusting. Still, that has to be some kind of European beer good thing, right?
2.8 33cl bottle, many times in the early belgian years. In short: boozy golden ale. A boozy ale, some unbalanced, but a must in the years it was released, i guess around 1998.
3.0 A decent strong ale. Pours a clear orange with little head. Smells of tropical fruit. Taste is very boozy and malty, with a licorice finish. Had in the bottle.
2.6 25 cl/250 ml, flaske, 13,0 % ABV, gave fra Handschuh, hjembragt fra Frankrig - tak! 8. oktober 2014. Brød-noter. Senere alkohol i næsen.

2.6 "A malty, sweet brew. Smells and tastes a little too hot, and the body is not quite heavy enough to support the abv. While not bad (the bozzy spicy sweet flavor is nice enough) it has it faults, and was pretty rough around the edges.
2.6 Botella de 33 cl, en Cerveceria Internacional. Color ambar. Sabor dulce, a malta, alcohol.
3.1 8.4 oz. bottle from Wilbur’s. Appearance: film white head, orange copper color, clear, light lacing. Aroma: booze, biscuits, caramel, light fruit. Palate: light-medium body, thin alcoholic texture, alcoholic warming, soft carbonation. Taste: caramel and biscuit sweetness, light fruit candy sweetness, alcoholic taste in middle and again at end. Overall, balance is lacking, overly sweet and boozy, but for the lack of balance, booziness could be worse. I do enjoy the texture of the beer. Worth trying, but nothing special.
3.0 Gift from Terry --- Clear medium bright orange amber, bubbly head cover, bubbly lace. Taste is very sweet orange caramel malt with spices that grows quite alcoholic in a noticeably bitter finish. Definitely strong, in a way that doesn’t quite work.
2.6 Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond, Tel Aviv. Clear golden with quickly diminishing low off-white head. Aroma is alcoholic, sweet, syrup, date honey, yeasty, malty. Very sweet flavor, date honey, malty, plums, notes of banana. Medium to full body. Sweet sticky aftertaste.
