3.6 Pale golden orange pour with a thin creamy off white head and a decent amount of lacing … aroma of wheat, light clove/spices, banana, fruity yeast, orange, bread and caramel malts, ….. taste is of wheat, sweet malts, clove, spices, banana, orange, bread and fruity yeast …. Mouthfeel is soft and creamy ….. finish is spicy and of sweet malts, clove, bread, orange and banana …. Love the mouthfeel on this brew
2.9 Malty, earthy, grassy with a bit of cereal. A hint of sweetness leads to a mild finish that seems light on the hops. Full but not heavy.
W tle delikatnie akcenty kwaskowe (owocowe). Smak, tak jak sugerował zapach, jest słodki. Na finiszu lekka, owocowa kwaśność. Wysycenie wysokie. Sporo ciała, płyn jest wyraźnie gesty o gładkiej, kremowej teksturze. Posmak długi słodki.
2.3 Wisbier muy suave tirando a lager. Fresca
3.3 Can
3.3 50cl bottle at Burg Eltz along the Moselle River. Hazy yellow-gold with full white head. Banana and spicy esters on both aroma and flavor.
2.9 Aromat banana i mokrego kartonu. W smaku no niestety daje tępym lagerem, chociaż pszeniczne nuty są. Tragedii nie ma
3.4 Orange color with creamy white head. Banana, fruits, wheat, citrus aromas. Light sweetness and bitterness. Average to full body, bit sticky.
3.2 0.5 I bottle from local 'real', best before October 2022. Hazy, deep amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, moderately fruity aroma of banana, clove, honey and traces of pear. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of grains, banana, clove and honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth but fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Classic, well-balanced Weizen, very solid.
3.2 Hazy/orange pour with a firm, white head. Aromas of orange and banana, very little spices (cloves); taste pretty much the same, could be bolder...
2.9 Can from Albert Heijn. Fairly misty. Light copper colour. Medium head. Aroma is sugary banana bread. Taste is banana bread, a very tiny bit of spice.
Sabor a trigo, levadura, banano, AIG dulce. Carbonatación media. Cuerpo medio, un poco cremoso. Refrescante
4.5 German Weissbeer
3.3 Irish neighbor likes his tall boys German Weissbier. Golden color, fluffy head, subtle spice and aroma.
2.2 Cerveja consistente, alemã, de cor alaranjada, odor intenso e sabor forte. Apesar dos seus 5,4%. 🍺🇩🇪
3.6 14 October 2021. At Breg's, Korbach. Cheers to the lovely Anke! Hazy ochre, stable, frothy, white head. Aroma of ripe banana, yellow apple, clove, white bread, wheat, nutmeg, vague grass. Taste has sweet banana & apple over doughy, bready maltiness, bit spicy & wheaty sour. Floral & grassy hoppy finish, lingering yellow fruit & bread. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Grassy notes tone down the estery sweetness, recommended.
3.8 Super pszeniczne, koło 10 pln
3.1 Bottle from Wasgau Saarburg, RLP, Germany Pours: hazy orange colored with a high, solid white head Nose: yeast, spices, some estery notes Taste: nice wheat malts, some fruity banana notes and some spices Finish: short lasting yeasty, wheat malts, slight fruity
3.4 Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up in town. Pours hazy orange with a large, foamy off-white head. Light-medium sweet flavour, nice hearty wheat character, yeast, a little citrus. Light bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish. Tasty weisse.
3.4 On tap in Travemünde. Unfiltered orange amber, good lasting head. Nice banana wheat nose. Flavor is okay, mouthfeel is creamy and balanced. It's not too sweet, though overall a bit unremarkable.
3.4 Banana, wheat malt, yeast aroma and a mild sweet taste. A good weissbier overall.
3.0 On tap @ The Bent Elbow....pours a cloudy pale straw color with 3 finger white cap....aromas are demure but there is biscuity malt and some herb and spice notes....soft character nothing overpowering but smooth and spritzy on the palate....taste has dusty wheat malts in front with herbal hopping in support, lightly sweet with a long wet finish...quenching but nothing really stands out
3.4 Found out of bottle from Auchan in Bielsko-Biala, Poland. Pours a hazy medium neon yellow with white light foam. Good retention. Average wheat, banana aroma for the style. Refreshing option on a hot summer day.
3.8 Pours a slightly cloudy, golden amber coloration with a large, creamy head. Smells of doughy malt, spicy esters, with clove really standing out here, and some grassy hops. Taste is a good balance of doughy malt, spicy and slightly fruity esters and grassy, spicy hops, with notes of clove, black pepper and lighter banana and hints of apple as well. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some spicy clove and black pepper, with hints of banana and apple lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation. This is probably the spiciest Hefeweizen I've ever had, and I can really dig the combination of spicy esters and hops here, while the fruitiness is a bit more subdued, again both from the esters and hops, this being rather grassy and somewhat bitter instead. While the body and mouthfeel seems just a bit lacking here, I can really appreciate that spicy flavor profile and those notes of clove and black pepper, although I would perhaps have wished for a bit better balance with some more fruity notes as well. Overall, this makes for a rather enjoyable Hefeweizen if you can dig that spicy and somewhat bitter character, which really stands out here.
