5.0 Mocno pachnie kakao, lekko śliwka. Barwa brąz z wysoką kremową pianą. Średnio wysycone, dość pełne z mnóstwem nut kakaowych, mega dobry ciemniak.
3.7 Half pint on tap at The Colmore, Birmingham. Dark brown with a small creamy beige top. Lovely aroma of berries, light toasted malts. Taste has a moderate bitter but sweet toasty malt, grains, a touch of fruity and herbal hops. Smooth body. It's a good one.
Mycket gott.
3.6 0,5 L Ljubitelj sam Bernard piva (posebice Svatečnog ležaka) i mogu reći da je i ovo pivo također vrlo dobro... aroma tamne čokolade i karamele, crna boja, solidna pjena... okus pitak, slabije gorak, srednje kiselkast...općenito: vrlo dobra ocjena i za preporuku...
4.4 Aromă bogată de malţ prăjit, cereale.Gust de ciocolată, cafea ,amărăciune echilibrată. La moment cel mai bun lager întunecat servit de mine.
3.3 Labs, neuzbāzīgs tumšais aliņš.
2.8 Draught at The Bishop's Arms, Uppsala. Overall pleasant dark lager, not too thin or watery but smooth and well balanced.
3.5 500ml bottle from Beers of Europe, King’s Lynn and drunk on 15/08/2009. Very nice dark lager, with big malty aroma, some roasted notes and rye. Balanced bitterness with grainy, malty sweetness.
3.6 0.5 l bottle from Vrutak, Zagreb. Shared with little Dina and her family. Darker brown with reddish tint, small lasting tan head. Fairly fruity, red and dark fruit, some malts, some caramel, some toast. Caramely and toasty flavour. Some bitterness in the finish. Dry. Soft. Drinkable. Good everyday drink.
3.7 Nice dark color, full creamy beige head. No bitter feeling. Light roast feeling, sweet maltiness. Very refreshing.
3.0 C: opaque black N: roasted malt, coffee P: mild acidity, lightly rooty, metallic note, malty sweetness, touch of ash, slightly herbal.
3.7 Drinkable. Dark. Flavorful. Malty, ever so slightly bitter. It’s good to drink or cook with. Or both
3.3 Keg at Sheffield Tap. Pours clear very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: lightly toasted dark malts, nuts, burnt caramel. Taste: Light to moderate sweet & light bitter, caramel, liquorice, coffee & smoked hints. Light to medium body, frothy carb, crisp finish
2.9 Ciemnobrązowe, klarowne, z ładną pianą. W aromacie i smaku ciemne słody, paloność, kawa, cola. Dość słodkie.
2.0 Aroma : Medium roasted chocolate malt, brown sugar, hint of liquorice, a touch of spice & burnt dust. Taste : As aroma. Lightly sweet all the way through with a slightly metallic finish. Thin bodied. Feels artificial. Below average for style!
3.6 Tap at Prague Beer Museum. Beautiful slightly toasty aroma with solid coffee support. Mocha like. Deep brown with garnet highlights and a tan head that holds a large collar of small bubbles. Flavor is malty with slight. Medium body falls off the table quickly.
3.3 It is like stout lager but less bodier which is easy to drink, i think there is tettnanger or fuggle hops in it, little bit weird than other dark lagers i drank before, but i like that. Its pretty good i think.
3.6 Not had too many dark lagers, but I’d like more. A very drinkable beer, yet very malty. Perfect for autumn or winter, wrapped up warm inside.
3.7 0.5l bottle from our trip to Czech Republic. Dark brown body, coffee brown head, moderately persistent. Foam taste has roasted bitterness, bit even burnt. Aroma is moderate, roasted malt, sweet and a bit buttery. Taste is dominated by roasted malt, bit of coffee or coke. Hints of ash. Roasted, bitter aftertaste, long lasting. Moderate carbonation, fizzy, yet silky, creamy palate. This one is a bit on the roasted side for me, I usually prefer more balanced, more "neutral", harmonic tmaves. Nevertheless, this one is not bad either.
3.0 Pours a deep brownish black on tap with thin ring of tan foam that leaves light lace. Aroma of light roast and chocolate with a pilsner yeast and light floral hop tone underneath. Taste follows, lightly sweet with a bitter and slightly metallic finish. Meh.
3.0 Ciemno brunatne, lekko opalizujące. Piana beżowa, dość wysoka. Aromat niezbyt intensywny, trochę palony, chlebowy z nutą mlecznej czekolady. W smaku palone słody, trochę chleba. Jest poprawnie, choć mało wyraźnie.
3.1 W aromacie lekko palone i coś w stylu wyrobu czekoladopodobnego. Barwa brązowa, klarowne, z purpurowymi przebłyskami, piana ładna. W smaku lekkie, półpełne, lekko palone, chlebowe. Na finiszu lekko kwaskowe, wysycenie średnie, goryczka niska. Takie sobie.
3.0 Dark color , malty aroma and a sweet taste with a dry finish. Pretty good beer overall.
4.0 Easy drinking with lots of roasty malts and smooth aftertaste.
3.2 Nice coffe/chocolate beer with great aroma.. Remind you somehow the "Fuller's Porter" on the aroma and on the taste but with more carboration and worst aftertaste.. The aftertaste has some metallic annoying flavor but it's ok i guess.. The beer is very refreshing with great mouthfeel and very balance carboration.. I really enjoy these coffe/chocolate flavors here.. The only bad i believe is the metallic aftertaste.. Overall a great beer to drink in the summer.. Is not something crazy but even something bad.. Is like one beer that you can put it higher from average and that is the matter..
3.3 Ok ale bez szału
