It’s a traditional unpasteurised beer which is unique in its harmony of fullness and bitterness, rich foam, sparkling transparency and striking flavour.
Editor’s note: Sold as Bernard Lager in Norway.

2.9Pro me referencni lezak. Svetlejsi barva, husta neprilis trvanliva pena. Vune sladova, trochu kvasnic. Chut zpocatku sladova, ale nijak vyrazne, pak stredne horkne, neulpiva. Dobre pitelny, lehky, vzorovy cesky lezak.
Edit: o malinko horci, o malinko lehci nez svatecnak. Ale nevim, jestli bych rozeznal
2.7Złociste, przejrzyste, z ładną pianą i skromnym lacingiem. Wyraźnie czuć chmiel w aromacie, oczywiście w parze ze slodowością. W smaku wychodzi lekka kukurydza. Goryczka znaczna, średnio przyjemna.
3.1Uzupełnienie ocen piwnych bez opisu z uwagi na przeniesienie z papierowych zapisków.
2.5Clear straw, white head. Light malt, grassy, grains, a bit metallic. It is what it is...
2.3Piwo jest całkiem nieźle wychmielone i dosyć przyjemne w odbiorze. Jedynym mankamentem jednak jest wyczuwalne w smaku zielone jabłko. Niestety psuje to trochę finalny odbiór
2.6Butelka 0,5 litra, zakupiona w zwykłym monopolowym. Barwa złota, klarowna. Biala piana, średniej wysokości i trwałości. Opadając zdobi szkło. Aromat słaby, odrobinę słodowy i mało chmielowy.
3.1On tap. Refreshing czech pilsner. It has everything what a nice beer can have. Crispy, hoppy and highly drinkable. Very clean and refreshing. Great thirst quencher.
2.4Draft. Gold with a frothy white head. Malty sweet smell full of honey, dough and rubber. Taste is sweet with hints of rubber gloves. Tolerable.
Nicméně plnější pivo s vyšším řízem, a ležáckou pěnou.
2.5Piwo klarowne o żółtej barwie piana biała drobnopecherzykowa pozostawia lacing. W aromacie trochę DMS, w smaku nieco wodniste
2.8500ml bottle. Clear, brass colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy, malty aroma. Taste is bitter hoppy, minimally metallic, malty background with a minimally strawy touch.
2.9Aroma malt, gress, noe karamell. Utseende klar gylden med hvitt skum. Smak malt, humle. Fyldig og saftig lager, god bitterhet. Flaske kjøpt på Rema 1000 Nordkjosbotn, 50cl4 5% BF161018
3.3F: big, egg-white, long lasting.
C: deep gold, clear.
A: malty, grassy, bit floral, bready, bit spicy.
T: malty, bit bready, grassy, bit floral, some metallic tones, medium body and carbonation, not bad for the style, enjoyed, from tap @ Bernard pri Lýceu in Bratislava, Slovakia (visited 03/07/18).
2.40.5l bottle@: Soft, rounded bitterness~floral & spicy hop flavor which lingers in aftertaste~bready maltiness. Soft texture.
2.5Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is bit skunky, mild but harsh bitter undertone. Taste is grainy, sweet, skunky, some bigger-than-prefered amounts of diacetyl. Drinkable, but ends sticky and sweet, as well as 'buttery' from the diacetyl. Up front, skunk takes away most of it's pleasantness. overall, this beer is far from prime condition.
3.5Un peu meilleure que la bernard 12. Bière qui descend seule comme d'habitude!
1.9Boring malt aroma. Minimal hazyness, golden color with no head. Taste of malt and vegetables. Average sweetness. Watery, light, low carbonation. Don't want to drink it ever again. //bottle from Tesco
1.4Piwo o zlotej barwie. Ulotny smak. Zwykly pils.
2.8Beer with gold color, medium bitter, soft carbonized, good volume of foam, (drunk a 50cl tap beer in "Taverna Onos", Praha, CZ #625)(#268 CZ).
2.750cl bottle. A clear deep golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of mild grainy malt, cereals, hay, cardboard. Taste of wet hay, grainy malt, straw, cereals, medium bitterness.
2.8Golden, clear, quickly disappearing foam without lacing. Not much smell, mostly malty, grainy, some skunk, rather faint notes. Fine bitterness for a lager, light, but still, green bottle, which is not for me. Overally not that bad, drinkable, although I like other versions (desitka and 12) more..
2.3From Jul 2007
Purchased at Wilbur's Liquors in Ft Collins as part of a mixed 6 Pack.
It pours from 12oz bottle (best by 14:18-T02, whatever that means) a hazy light gold with a small head of foam. It shrinks very quickly and has no lacing.
The smell is faint. I get some malt but I really have to sniff with an effort and there's nothing else that strikes my nose.
The taste is similar to some German brews I've had before. Pretty big malt profile that borders on semi sweet and some hop character in the background that adds some dryness and some balance. Not bad but not anything special. It finishes slightly bitter with a short aftertaste. Again, too *typical* to make it stand out.
2.9Pilsner malt, butterscotch and some floral hoppy aroma. Light sweetness, medium bitterness, light body, thick feel, average carbonation.
2.9Aroma of bread, grass an hints of spices. Golden with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a average carbonation. Overall a decent Pilsener, not very interesting, but enjoyable. A bit more hop character than a lot of lagers tend to have, which is nice.
3.050 cl. bottle. A clear golden coloured beer with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, grass and sweetness.
