A light touch of hops gives the brew a crisp finish, balancing its soft sweetness and texture with fruity or citrusy notes.

2.6On holiday in Canada 473ml can gold blond colored sparkling body with a white head and with a citrus yeast hop aroma , a yeast hop fruity sweet taste with a slight bitter finish
2.8Orange pour from draft at Rose & crown in Banff. White head. Wheat and grassy flavor. Not bad for the style.
2.7Translucent gold with a quickly receding small white head. Mild aroma containing notes of yeast, malt, honey, and lemon. Light bodied, particularly for a wheat. Tastes akin to a macro wheat. Yeast, malt, honey, and a hop/citrus finish are present, but in a rather passive manner. Pleasant as a chug it back summer ale, but immensely lacking in complexity.
2.7341ml bottle. Pours a clear light to medium gold, with a small white head, which fades quickly and doesn’t leave any lacing. The aroma offers some pleasant floral hops and a lick of wheat sweetness. The hops flavour up front is a little muted, although the floral notes are still present. The mid-palate has a little more body than I would expect from a wheat ale, but sadly isn’t backed up by much flavour, just a fairly simple sweetness. Reasonable enough, and very sessionable, but not the most exciting beer around.
2.7355 ml can from a 12-pack sampler from Sobeys Liquor, served in a shaker pint glass. Pours a slightly orangey straw yellow with lots of very fine carbonation and a creamy white cap that crackles and vanishes with time to leave rings and islands of lace. Aroma is similar to many lagers, with unsweetened malty cereals, and hints of buttered corn that I truly dislike in the aroma and flavor of beer. (Actually, I don’t know if my nose and tongue read this correctly as "corn"; it just might be some version of biscuity or cracker-like malt.) Flavor is practically identical to most light lagers, right down to a stronger presence of the confusing and distasteful corn/biscuit flavor, with what seems to be a hint of herbal hops. Thin, and with a dry finish. I wouldn’t go out of my way for this. Although labeled as a Kristallweizen, it’s indistinguishable from most adjunct lagers. So-so.
2.3Pours a clear bubbly gold with a small creamy white head. Aroma of grain, grass and corn. Tastes of grain, some sweet malt and a very light bitter finish. Watery and light body.
2.6Bottle:
Clear, medium gold...small white head.
Wheat, grain aroma.
Taste is sweet, honey-wheat malt...
Very plain..more like a better-than-average pale lager....not very wheaty, really.....more a grass/straw base.
Doesn’t taste bad, at all.....just quite forgettable......not very lively.
2.0Bottle. Lactic wheat and barley malt aroma. Bright golden yellow with giant head. Lightly sweet wheat malt and hay flavor. Light body. Bland.
2.2I’ve had this a few times before but for this one it was a 355 ml can poured at home. Smell is....off. I can’t pinpoint it (others say wheat or hay) other than to say it is sweet, but it reminds me of something rotting. Sweet to taste, with lemon and orange flavoring. Like i said, i’ve had it a few times and have never really enjoyed it.
2.9330ml bottle from the only cafe. Transparent straw/gold with very thin white head. Sweet biscuit and cereal aromas. An American interpretation is immediately apparent on the nose. Some sweetness, hay. Nice carbonation level. Sessionable, enjoyable,
2.9Strong sweet wheat aroma and a decent head with a golden body flavour isstrong hoppy lagerness with a hint. Of wheat. just okay.
2.5Bottle. Clear yellow gold pour with a thin white head that disappears without a trace. Light wheat malt aroma. Taste has a bit of citrus and sweetness to it. Quite light body with a fair bit of carbonation.
2.1Visual: Part of a variety 12-pack, aluminum cans. Pours clear golden yellow-orange, no head, thin ringed retention, many steady streams.
Nose: Almost mute; just a touch of grainy barley malt. (lvl-1)-pungency
Attack: crisp, incoming grainy malts
Mid-palate: thin-bodied, watery mouthfeel, light fizzy, (lvl-4)-sweetness, light metallic, (MAIN) barley malt, bready-grainy, a hint of spiciness + citrus
Finish: a touch yeasty, malty sweet finish.
Summary: Don’t bother, nothing special here. Drinks like a mainstream lager.
3.4Bottled. Pours a pleasant clear yellow-gold colour. Clean tasty palate, with lemon and light bread flavours. Refreshing and light, a good interpretation of a German kristalweiss
2.3Can. Golden yellow pour with a small white head. Aroma of candied fruits, orange and overripe banana. Sweet, fruity flavour, more overripe fruit. Not your average wheat ale, but not something I really want to drink again.
1.6I was really looking forward to this beer. It marked a shift in our local LC’s from big Canadian piss lagers to craft breweries being carried. Sadly this beer didn’t help the cause. It’s a pale corn-yellow with no head that looks and tastes hardly better than a skunky, metallic old (insert macro lager here). I wish they would have sent their better brews over, now none are carried.
1.6I usually don’t get offended my wheat beer, but this one did exactly that. Maybe it was a bad batch, but it was all together unpleasant. Tasted of wheat gone bad and stale cereal, add a little skunk as well. After taste wasn’t much better as it was hard to finish the can, before it got too warm.
2.1Sample on tap at Craft beer Market (Vancouver). Pours clear wheaty blond. Aroma: malt, distant hops and citrus. Taste is only malty. Refeshing I guess, but nothing to write home about here...
2.3Clear yellow with a small white head. Nose is very faint tofee and grain. Slightly sweet and a bit crisp. Thin mouth with average carbonation. Inoffensive and uninspiring.
1.9Rating #4. Boring beer. Pours to an unappetizing color with little aroma. Medium white head that doesn't last. Smells like a farm field and taste like grass or wheat but no hints of fruit or sweetness to take dullness away. Typical mediocre Big Rock beer.
3.1Aroma of straw and corn. Typical golden yellow color. Not a very exciting one but it’s easy to drink and very refreshing on a patio in the summer. Hints of lemon while drinking on top of corn malts straw and wheat.
1.9From bottle. Pours oily yellow with a quickly dissipating white head. Carbonation disappears completely. Flavor is corn syrup and wheat. Not a pretty looking beer in the glass, smells unappealing, flavor is better than it looks, but thin and syrupy.
3.3A little boring , tiny taste of lemon, a bit flat aroma... But very easy to drink, would be great summertime lakeside. Doesnt taste like a 5% beer, could be trouble :)
3.1Aroma: sweet subtle malty aroma
Taste: light sweet wheat notes that finishes with a small bot of bitterness
Appearance: clear gold body with a nice head with good retention
2.0Crisp and clear. A refreshing light lager without a lot of flavour. Good for a hot day.
1.2A generally flavourless, flat, headless ordinary beer yet I’ve tasted much worse.
2.3Booooorring. Nothing much happening in this beer. Wouldn’t recommend to craft lover fans, it is more like just a basic lager beer with the slightest of hint of wheat.
1.2Mild beer flavour. Comes in very fresh where I live. Pours light golden. Tastes like a light lager. Good on a hot day.
1.8On tap at Big Rock in Seoul. Very clear for a wheat beer, nice fluffy head. Served with a slice of lemon so a citrus aroma. Not too good flavor, a bit sour with just a hint of spice but pretty bland. Red Rock reminds me of your average Japanese craft brewery, making kind of bland beers but then again maybe that’s only the beer available in Seoul.
2.6Bouteille 341ml.
