1.9Draught at Struwelpeter in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. Gold with no head. Flat as a witches, tart, sour, fusty. pretty poor unfortunately. Terrible.
3.0Pours clear golden with foamy head. Malty aroma with a hint of metallic notes. Taste is malty and grainy with dryish grass and herbs. A decent and well balanced pils. (Poured from a 0,5l Bottle)
1.8Pale gold with a foamy white head that soon disappears. Aroma is full of grains and metals. Taste has a flat, metallic uncompromising bitterness that does not exactly draw you in. Finishes a touch sweeter with a malty note. Body is medium. Used the rest of the can for beer butt chicken.
2.7On tap at La Dolce Vita, Frankfurt on 27-Sep-2017. Golden with a medium sized white head. Aroma of grain, grass and fruit. Light body and medium carbonation. Taste of barley and malt - lightly hopped with medium sweetness. An OK pilsner, but nothing to write home about.
2.0A reasonable, drinkable Pils, but really nothing to get excited about. Average.
2.0definetly not my favorite Pils. somehow watery. somehow metalic but no malty or hop aroma.
2.7Vom fass @ Main Strand, Frankfurt. Pours golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of corn, hay, grass and light fruit. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Light body, slight oily texture, above average carbonation. Finish is sweet and grainy. When in Frankfurt...
2.6Pale blond colour. Aroma and flavour have a little light, pale malts. Quite plain but not unpleasant.
1.8Im aussehen noch ordentlich machen geruch und Geschmack überhaupt keinen Spaß, schwierig zu trinken und das tolle ist das der Geschmack schön nach hält
1.7500ml Dose. Hellgelb mit weissem stabilem Schaum. Getreide und Stroh in der Nase. Herber Getreidegeschmack. Leicht metallisch.
3.2From tap at my hotel in Frankfurt. Clear golden color with white head. Malty aroma, grainy, straw, grass, light citrusy. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Almost medium oily body with soft to average carbonation.
2.001-09-16 // draft at Nirgendwo, Mainz. Clear godlen colour with soldi white head. Standard german Pils. Crisp, malt sweetness and slightly bitter finish.
2.650 cl can from Rewe, Aschaffenburg .
Aroma:Something like instant cereal.
App:Pale golden. Medium to small white head.Short lasting retention.
Taste: Grain , hay and hops extract.
Palate.Thin body. The bitterness lingers even after some minutes.
Overall: Represents quite well a macro Pils.
3.0bottle @ Rewe market in Frankfurt Germany --- Aroma of malt and pils hops. Clear straw color, white head that quickly drops to the rim, spots of lace. Taste is barely malt, a lot of fizz, and noticeable floral hops. A simple brew with nothing to separate it from all the other German Pils. Once is enough for me.
2.8Clear yellow, white fluffy foam head. Typical (weak) aroma and taste. Good drinking beer. (Velp 201605)
2.8Crystal pale golden color with a frothy white head that disappear quite quickly not leaving a single lace. Aroma is malty and sweet, notes of bread and slightly buttery. Flavor is light sweet at beginning then the bitterness starts. Fizzy carbonation in a light to medium body, thin texture and light salty finish. Not bad.
2.7Sampled on draught. A golden Pilsner with a foaming white head. The taste is malty with notes of hay. A medium bitter finish and a good refreshing mouthfeel. The archetypal Frankfurt beer.
2.40,5 l bottle. Pours out clear golden with a one finger fast fading white head. Taste starts strange with hay and some sourness. Later more grain and malt with low sweetness. Mid bitterness. Can not really convince.
2.5Crisp enough and easy to drink while hanging around the airport. Got this from some corner store in some seedy part of Frankfurt outside the train station. Thought I’d find some bar open at 6 in the morning, but ended up more like the Ice T gangster rap anthem. Anyway, easy enough to drink on the train ride back to the airport. Crispish. Bottle.
2.8Aroma: herbs and malty, quite clear.
Appearance: clear golden color and nice white head.
Taste: medium herbal bitterness, quite stalky, malty, quite dry.
Palate: low body and high carbonation.
Overall: Average Pils, no fireworks.
2.3bottle from McTapps - thanks! Clear pale yellow with a foamy white head. Shy green hop aroma, slightly cardboardy. Light-bodied, very mild and shy woody, dusty, cardboardy hop flavours.
2.4On tap in Frankfurt. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of herbal hops, slightly chemical, light bready malts, straw. Flavour is light malty, light grainy, sweet, herbal and chemical grassy bitterness, bitter finish. Light bodied. Not very pleasant.
2.9Aroma: hay, fruit, bread. Appearance: pale, clear, white foam, minimal head. Taste: lightly sour, light sweetness, medium bitterness. Palate: medium body, thin slightly oily feel. Astringent, bitter finish.
3.9Tried it in Frankfurt, on Zum Gemalten Haus. Nice color, nice taste.
A good appearance, served in a bottle.
2.4330ml Flasche. Klar und golden. Durchschnittliche Schaumkrone. Eher wässrig und meiner Meinung nach unterdurchschnittliches Pils.
3.3Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Piwo o fajnej bialej piance trwalej dosc sporo czasu sie utrzymywala znaczac slady na szkle. Jasne zlociste piwo, musujace. W smaku biale pieczywo spora dawka chmielu. W ustach pozostawia spora goryczke. Przyzwoity Pilsner.
Daumen hoch.
2.5Bottle from IxI Frankfiurt. The beer has got a clear golden colour with an airy steady head and medium body. Aroma of hops, grass and citrus fruits. Taste of old hops, bitterness, grass, citrus fruits. Metallic finish. Drinkable.
4.0Brewed in Frankfurt, Germany poured from a 0.5 l bottle in Rhein-Main area of Germany. Drinking 6 months before best before date. More aroma than the other Pilsners I have drank recently, thick white head and crystal clear amber beer. Good bitterness and very drinkable. This beer really surprises me how cheap it is (10€ for twenty 0.5 l bottles) yet it tastes very good. If this is the Budweiser of Frankfurt then Frankfurt is doing something right!
3.3* Old rating, 0,5l crowntop-bottle, best before 10.03. Frisch-trockenes Pils. Getreidige Herbe mit trockenem, pilstypischem Abgang. Süffig durch eine ganz leichte Süße. Lecker!
