Bink Blond

Bink Blond

The ‘Bink blond’ was the first who came out of the barrels.

It’s a beer of high fermentation, unfiltered and not pasteurized, with secundary fermentation in the bottle.

This beer with a hoppy character is the perfect thirst-quencher.

The ingredients are: two types of malt, two belgian types of hop, brewing liquor and yeast.

Our ‘Bink blond’ is a fresh and lightly digestable beer with a hoppy flavour and a bitter aftertaste.

The alcohol content of this ‘powerful’ beer is 5,5 % vol.alc.

3.0 Hazy golden with a white head that dilapidates quickly. Classic Blond. Rather mild in taste, thus easy to drink. Good balance. Some distant fruity flavours. Drinkable.
3.2 Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours fairly transparent, classic gold with moderate white foam. Aroma is very sweet, mostly of honey. Body is average with moderate carbonation. Taste is less sweet than aroma, though still medium. Finish is average.
3.6 Bottle. Pours clear gold with a medium-sized white head. Average retention. Aroma: Belgian yeast, banana, dried apples and pears. Medium body. The taste is moderately sweet, malty and rather bitter for the style. Spicy, grassy. An interesting one.
4.0 Fles 33cl thuis. Bloemig. Wat drogig, bitter. Goed. (3-2013).--------------.
3.4 Poors light amber, slightly oily with small head. Aroma sweetish malts, somewhat spicy, classical but nice. Taste typical sweetish, somewhat fruity malts, some fine, bitter hops taking over without really dominating the taste, some complexity remains, pleasant lingering bitter aftertaste. More than decent, refreshing and tasty blonde.
4.0 Krachtig bier met een sterke hopsmaak. Bitter wint het net van zoet. Troebel bier met kleine schuimkraag. Gekocht in Baarle Hertog.
3.4 Bottle massive thanks to sjogro! Almost clear golden with short lasting white head. Sweet malts, quite flowery, there’s also quite some herbs, grass, bitter hay, soft orange, honey, light cardboard, soft yeast, burnt sugar. Medium sweet and over medium bitter. Medium bodied. Not too bad, quite bitter and less yeasty than I expected. Would be nice to have this at a concert or something.
3.2 Bottle at home, thanks to work. Clear golden with white head. Malt, grain, cloves, orangepeel, lemon rind, caramel fudge. Moderate sweet and quite a strong vegetal, earthy hop bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.
3.4 Bottle from Brewers Haven. This one's been on my list for a while. Pretty dark for a "blonde". Orange amber with high fluffy head. Aroma is caramel malts and a tough of Belgian yeast. Yeast becomes more prominent in the taste, and then some sweetness from the malts, caramel. Finishes a bit weak, but enough other good characteristics carry it through.
3.2 Aroma is slightly yeasty alcoholic with some fruity esters. Taste is full bodied sugary doughy toast. Spices in the finish. A bit alcoholic. Apart from that nice
3.7 On tap Brasserie 4:20 (Rome). Oro luccicante, abbastanza limpida, schiuma bianca media e persistente. In bocca è dolce all'attacco con finale amaro a bilanciare, discretamente secca. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Buona.
3.3 33 cl. bottle. An amber coloured beer with a white head. Aroma and flavour of yeast, spice, fruit, alcohol, riped fruit and with a bitter finish.
3.7 bottle @ home clear peach amber, white head light hops, honey, candy, belgian yeasts bitter, light honey, belgian yeasts, plum, ripe peach
3.3 Clear golden color with fluffy off-white head. Aroma is a combination of bready malt, candi sugar and some yeast esters. Taste follows with a light sugary sweetness, grainy/bready malts and some earthy yeast notes with a good amount of bitterness. Light body, really dry, well carbonated but feels somehow smooth on the palate at first. Overall this is a really decent and easy drinking beer.
3.5 Quite clear, deep orange, shiny, with a small foamy off-white cap. Aroma has sweet fruity malts, some faint phenols, mild crushed peppercorn, sharp floral notes, thickened honey. Sweet taste with some raw grain and some strong grassy notes, with a sprinkle of earthy, peppery spices. Slightly saison-ish, in a way. Some Belgian sugars in the finish, more than mild bitterness. Aftertaste is spicy and bitter-sweet, but in a "raw", simple way: sugars and earthy hop. Medium to light body, as is the carbonation. A nice Belgian pale with a bit of funk to it.
3.4 Bottle. Pale gold. Hoppy (spicy, peppery, resiny hops). Fruity (oranges, apples). Yeasty (lots of floaties). Malty base (light caramel). Nice hop bitterness. Refreshing drying finish. Likeable hoppy pale ale. (2008)
Bof
3.4 On cask at Holy Grale. Pours a hazy gold with large frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is belgian yeast, grass, floral. Medium body, grass, honey, yeast, light dry finish, good.
3.7 Clear gold with a fizzing head. More substance than the typical lager, more towards saison. Crisp bitterness, some white sugar, a hint of lemon in the finish, earth. Medium finish, bitter sweet. Refreshing
3.3 Flaska t’brugs beertje, brygge.
3.6 @ Hotel Mirabeau, Brussels 20160507. Bottle from local beer shop. Fruity and hoppy, spicy and yeasty, sweet, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is dry and fruity. Fresh.
3.4 Bottle from local store in brussels. Pours a hazy golden colour beer with a small head. Yeasty with spices and herbs some hops. Dry finish
4.2 Thought this was my favourite blond when I tried in a few years ago; now I know it is. Coriander-y? Nice yeast, and lemon-y, nose. Orange rind in the mouth. Not the longest finish but really nice depth to it.
3.3 Bottle at home. Aroma is pale malt, fruity notes, a bit floral, some spicy yeasty notes, a bit grassy hoppy. Flavour is above moderate bitter, a pleasant surprise. Body is medium. A refreshing and a bit hoppy Belgian Ale.
3.8 Clear blonde beer with a big white foam head. Nose is grassy, straw, bubblegum, green hops, menthol, light grains. Taste is bubblegum, light grains, menthol, grassy, straw, floral.
3.6 Orange gold, bit murky, frothy head. A: sour, sour cabbage note, fresh malts, lemon, wood note, white grape nite, yeast. Not bad. T: follows aroma, decent mouthfeel, smooth. Malts, lemon in finish. Lacks some depth because of low abv, but I'll have this over a lager any day.
