3.7Bottle. Thx Czar.
Pours golden with huge soapy white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of funk, flowers, rotten fruits. Taste is of funk, flowers, good acidity, weird slightly off fruits (probably from saison yeast), some bitterness, underlying lambic caracter. Palate: High carbonation. Light body. Overall: Quite good. Interesting faint lambic features.
3.6Bottle shared by czar, many thanks bro! It pours a hazy golden with a medium white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of fruits and lightly funky with a little rotten fruit that I’m not entirely convinced about. Taste is lightly sweet, moderately tart and fruity. Some odd burnt/caramelized sugar in the finish. Body is medium, carbonation high and prickly. Overall a good one but not a standout. Glad to have sampled it, though!
3.6pours hazy lightly golden with a towering bubbly white head, nice lacing. lots of berry fruitiness - saeiszon fruity and peppery notes; crackery maltiness, white grapes, astringent wood, oranges and citrus. almost foamy carbonation, light body; gently tart and woodsy-spicy finish. yogurt/sour cream with added orange blossom. some lambic wooden character. unique. but not oustanding.
3.8Bottle at Eulogy. Hazy golden orange pour with a large frothy white head. Lots of carbonation. Lasting thick layer of foam - which keeps things creamy. Sour dark amber fruit with a good amount of drying wood tannins. Apricot fuzz. Cherry pineapple. Clementines. Bruised peaches. Medium-light caramels. Honey wheat bread. Duck sauce. Some of the flavors feel more artificial as it warms, but it balance very good.
3.4Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with small frothy white head. The aroma is butterscotch and wheat. Medium mouthfeel, light honey, funk, tart finish. good
4.0Это пиво вкусное. я, конечно, рекомендую его всем, что любит хорошую Craft пива!
3.6Bottle from GBBF 2014. Gushed when opened with a big hollow sounding pop. Light golden amber, touch of haze, lots of effervescent bubble rising up the glass. Soft bubbly large white head. Nose is funky, musty barn, horse blanket, effervescent soda, light urine, lightly sour, light vinegar, pale malt grain, fusty musty grain. Taste is light vinegar sour, light acidic sour, pale malt grain, horse blanket, tangy funky farmyard, soda water. It’s decent. My only complaint would be the body is light and a bit weak.
4.0Gushing bottle when opened. Pours a hazy golden orange with bubbly off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of funky must, wood, sweet grain, and phenolic esters. Taste is basically cantillon gueuze to me, which is in no way a bad thing, maybe a bit boozier. Highly carbonated, bubbly and effervescent, definitely more gueuze than saison to me, but freaking awesome.
3.0bottle in Delirium cafe. Like their "Re Ale", this was massively discounted to about 4 euros due to being well past its sell by date. Opened it and lost some as it was a bit of a gusher (wahey). Unfortunately I don’t remember too much else as this was probably my 30+th beer of the day and I had just had 750ml of Re Ale. Anyway, i will try it again one day when it’s in date!
3.7Bottle. Pours cloudy deep yellow with small head. Aroma is super sweet tarts, peach, orange, cotton candy, lemon peel. Taste is sweet peach gummis, cotton candy, sour sugar, grains, slight bitterness. Pretty good.
3.9Thanks Tim M. Cheesy, light Lambic sourness, funk and fizz. Light sourness, bit of a spritz. Interesting mix. Lychee like?
3.5Bottle shared at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours cloudy yellow with a creamy white head. The nose holds sweat and slightly rotten lemon. Light sweet flavor with more old lemon, grain, apple, light bready malts. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly sweet to finish with a bit of tart citrus fruits and more sweat. OK overall.
3.8Bottle at Craig’s, thanks Dina. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aromas of funky yeast and lemon. Taste is tart, sour, light bitter lemon. Finishes crisp, lovely.
4.2Bottle thanks Dina. Golden with white head. Aroma of lambic funk and white wine. Taste of funky Brett, pineapple, white wine. Dry and tart.
3.8Bottle at home. Pours hazy yellow, nose is farmyard funk, toffee, taste is dry, sour, funky.
3.4bottle at home .. amber .. thin white lacing ... sofft fruits ... light floral hops ... light floral hops ... zezty dry lemon hop ... juicy fruit ... soft dtry hop... dry zezty fruits ... soft sweet fruits ...
3.5Bottle to glass. Pours a chunky orange color with a very foamy/fizzy off white head. Aroma is tart, citrus, barnyard funk. Flavor is mildly tart, citric, heavy barnyard. Funk lingers into the finish. Honestly I was expecting more from this beer, but still tasty.
4.2Bottle (330 ml). Thanks to Marheb for this one! Clear bright golden with a medium fully lasting white head and good lacing. Aroma is really nice with plenty of Saison character, cerals as well as a nice tartness probably from the lambic, lactic notes and acidic presence. Taste is nicely tart with a good farmhouse presence, a bit of oak, citrus and hay. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Dry finish. Superb balance. Very tasty and drinkable. I love this one!
4.2Bottle at Tom’s place. Clear gold pour with really persistent creamy white head (still there 45 mins after pouring). Aroma is really nice, lactic and citric lambic notes, funky with a good dose of grainy, doughy saison. Taste is tart, not sour, really citric, like some of the new hip wine barrel-aged American saisons, really dry. Palate is light with soft carbonation. I’m impressed.
3.4Bottle split at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14.
Hazed orange golden with a mahoosive off white head of bubbledom.
Nose is light soap, bitter citrics, straw, earthy vibes, orange, lemon rind.
Taste comprises tangy mandarin, citric rind, straw, light spice.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok saison.

GBBF Day 1. Bottle share, thanks to Keen Massey. Cloudy amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry and a little crisp. Mild Saison like floralness, floral fruits and mild sourness. Light airy finish. Okay.
3.0Bottle. Long time want, I finally stumble across this one. Pours a orange, with huge frothy white head. Aroma is a little weird with sour candy, barnyard and pepper. Taste is light sourness, candy sweetness and a weird peel or grassy bitterness. Too top it off, it is way overcarbed. Hard too drink and not very tasty.
3.8Bottled: unk
Pours a nice golden ale with a speedy dissipating white top, leaving just a little ring of the same. Smells of must, some funk some lemon - nice nose. This very much reminds me of cuvee rene from lindemans on the nose. The flavor is mildly sour, with funk and some grain and a little bit of lemon pith in there as well. Light bodied with some moderate carb and a good dry finish. Good beer.
4.133 cl bottle split by Ajax. Hazy gold with bubbly carbonation. Aroma is nice, tart fruit, lacto, and hints of a flower character and light yeast. Jeez, will the flavor be as good as the aroma?
The answer is yes. The Lambic influence is mild, gives a light tartness that gives the flavors a nice complexity. Zesty yeast, tart fruit with the mild flowery character that I found in the nose. Adam told me the price he paid and I was not surprised but because of the high cost I could not see ever enjoying this on a regular basis. However, if money was never an issue I would buy a case of this.
4.3Stubby 11.1 oz bottle into a wine glass. Picked up last year and the code is LS3713, so possibly a September 2013 bottling? Pours a hazy amber body with an absurdly sudsy white head. Nose is stone fruits, grass, a light spice, and some funky musk. Earthy and deep. Taste is clean and refreshing with the saison notes of lemon, stone fruits, and grass balanced out by the funk and mineral quality of the lambic. Lightly sour and lactic, keeps you coming back for more. This is a really awesome blend.
3.6Bottle. Poured yellow color with a large sized head. Lively and bubbly body with a dry finish. Yeast, spices, some brett, citrus, and some earth.
3.9Gold with a white head. Nose is cheese, funky tart, lightly acidic, lemon and yeast. Great palate, wood, funky, tart, lemon, smooth finish
4.1This is a very good blended beer. Nose has some saison smell to it. It’s nice and tart, with some slight citrus. I could drink this everyday.
3.62011 bottle shared with Chad. Aroma is dull cellar funk, grass, and rubber. Pours dirty blonde with nice carb and a small head. Taste is moderately hoppy with grass notes, some slight pez/bandaid funk, and dull cellar notes. Easy sipping and nowhere NEAR as funky as I was expecting. I could knock these back indefinitely.
