Bibock® is a slightly amber, low fermentation beer produced by way of decoction and with 6.2% alcohol by volume (16 Plato degrees), full-bodied but dry and fairly bitter. The recipe, developed at Birrificio Italiano® of Lurago Marinone, was freely inspired by the best Bock beers of German tradition.

3.6Pint at Ruzavunol in Valencia. Slightly hazy, slightly bubbly amber beer with a thick, lively white head. L8ght, smoky malt aroma. Taste is sweet and fruit with just a hint of the smoky, almost meaty flavours you'd expect from a Bock. A balanced, malty aftertaste. This isn't the big hitter that many bocks are but that kind of suits me.
3.5Tap, taster. Tasted on the 14/04/2018 at "El Sainete", Madrid. Clear brown colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, brown sugar, bread and red fruits. Taste is on the sweet caramel side. Soft carbonation and slightly bitter. Next one please!

3.6Draught at Open Baladin Torino. Pours clear brown with a large, frothy off-white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is moderate rich bready malt, light kettle caramelization with dates and medium earthy hops. Flavor is moderate rich bready malt, light kettle caramelization with dark fruits, medium earthy and spicy hops and bitterness with a medium dry finish. Medium-full body and medium carbonation.

3.2Bottle (from Koht). Pours amber with huge beige head. Aroma is grainy, malty, cardboard, some sour almost acetone like notes. Flavor is sweet and bitter, some sourness, grainines, maltiness. Finish has some dryness. Carbonation is crisp. Overall: feels slightly off, but otherwise ok brew.
3.7Bottle. A really good, interesting and unusually hoppy hellerbock. Heavy woody and marzipan-like maltiness. Also notes of herbs and grapefruit.
2.4Prodotta per infusione di malti d’orzo tipo Pilsener, Munchen e speciali, viene fermentata con un lievito di bassa alquanto particolare e capriccioso, che regala però eleganti e inusuali note di frutta fresca. Luppoli tedeschi da amaro e dosi massicce di Styrian Golding donano un tocco nobile all’aroma; completato da un leggero dry hopping con miscela anglo-tedesca.

3.5From 32GP. In Teku glass. After dinner. Malty, with some caramel and nuts. Noble grassy hops very well placed compensating. What stands out is its velvety smooth oily texture.
