The blend of pale, lager, crystal and cara malts give Goldeneye its full body and rich gold colour. The initial impression of moderate bitterness balances with a clean finish. Fruity citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine shine through with a touch of marmalade sweetness.

3.5Refreshing hoppy pale ale. I zesty hop and sweet Malt background. Lovely mouthful. A beer swimming pool to dive in to. Yum.

3.5Bottle as a present. Slightly hazy, good head, nicely balanced biscuity malt, and lots of citrus hops. Nice beer!
3.7Bottle from supermarket. Pours a clear, bright, copper with a thin, lightly yellow-white head and lots of lovely carbonation in the glass that refuels the head all the way down the glass. Nose is citrus and floral. Light lemon rind, sweet toffee, sweet flower, plenty barley sugar on the tasting. Not too bitter on the finish. Feels quite full bodied with a crisp, refreshing carbonation. Very nice drinking. This is super easy drinking with a touch of the modern, fresh fruits and a touch of the sweet, malty tradition. Very nicely balanced.
3.2330ml bottle. Dark golden colour with a thin white head. Lemony aroma, biscuit and citrus flavour. Ok
3.2UT050118. 33cl bottle at home from Alima Bourse, Luxembourg. Nose is Malty. Fruity malty. Medium bittersweet. Medium lasting medium bittersweet. Light body slick medium carb. 546413
---330 ml WBS
3.2Ftom rap at Taphouse. A clear amber coloured beer with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, fruit, hops, caramel and with a bitter finish.
3.3Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - golddn Amber pour with white head. Furity and malty, some citrus fruity notes, some caramel, medium body, grassy hoppy finish.
4.8Somehow this beer made its way down to a little micropub in Woolston Southampton and I was lucky enough to drink a pint last night. WOW, what a stunning beer, golden in colour and with a strong hoppy taste of grapefruit. Its one of those beers that lingers in your mouth long after you finish it and if you like grapefruity IPAs you'll just love this one. YUM.
3.4Deep gold beer, thin white head. Sweet, lemon citrus aroma. Taste follows suit, with some dry, bitter hop. There's not a heck of a lot else to it but it's perfectly drinkable.
3.3-On tap black isle bar, Inverness- Grapefruit, lemon and grass. Dry and crisp finish. Good!
3.1Together with Yves at his home gold blond colored body with a white head and with a floral yeast hop aroma a yeast hop sweet fruity light bitter taste with a bitter finish
3.1Shared with wim at my home. Clear blond colored with small white head and lots of carbonation. Fruited yeasty aroma. Finish hopped bitter.
3.7Keg at Black Isle bar Inverness. Pours clear Amber with small white head. Aroma dominated by fresh citrus. Taste is nicely citrus, grapefruit and lime. Good malt sweetness to balance the hops. Slick mouthfeel with good fullness from carbonation. Overall a decent IPA.
3.3On cask in Edinburgh. Strong flavor and strong alcohol for the style. There’s a pretty substantial malt sweetness, which is nice but it also is pretty strong at cask temperature. Solid but a bit malty.

3.5Hazy deep gold. Medium head, high retention. Aroma intensity 3.5/5. Cut grass and flowers aroma, notes of melon and bread. Medium bitter. Light body... sort of
3.1Bottle from Planet Organic. Orange gold colour with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel and honey. Taste has some honey sweetness and some notes of hay and grass. Some hop flavour at the finish. A liitle bland, but some quite nice subtle flavours and a good balance and mouthfeel.
3.4330 ml bottle bought at Food Wise in Shek Wui Hui, Sheung Shui.
Looks: Clear amber golden colour; Less than one quarter finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 15 seconds; Excellent sticky lacing and active slight carbonation.
Aroma: Quite fragrant Ale malt, with grapefruits flesh and peels, light tropical fruits, honey, floral, caramel, sugar, biscuits, lemon and light grass.
Taste: Close to medium sweet Ale malt, with strong caramel, strong floral, orange, citrus peels, strong molasses, earth, dry biscuits, lemon, strong bitter hops and sharp grass.
Body: Mid to light body. Very slick palate.
Mouth Feel: Very good Ale maltyness in a slightly thinned but smooth background. Strong astringent grassy hops up front with lingering orange and grapefruits, followed by strong caramel and floral. Nice strong sweetness. Earthy biscuity with lemon to round. Nice!
Hoppiness: Grapefruit flesh and peels, tropical fruits, floral, lemon and light grass in nose. Strong floral, orange, citrus peels, earth, lemon and sharp grass in taste; Bitterness is very strong for a lasting, strong astringent bitter sweet malty finish.
After Taste: Dry. Citrusy and strong bitter to mouth.
Comments: This is a solid Golden Ale with rich maltyness, fair dry-hopped fruity aroma, good caramel taste with a big citrusy hoppiness which balanced the sweetness nicely. A pretty good Summer thirst quencher!
Lite kort i doft dock. En öl jag kommer att dricka igen.
3.0Pours amber with an off white, thin head. Has a slight nutty aroma. Taste has hints of caramel and chocolate nothing over powered.
3.4330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear amber, creamy off-white head, good lacing. Caramel and roasted barley aroma, hazelnut, hay and grass. Smooth mouthfeel, mildly carbonated. Sweet caramel flavor up front, coffee, chocolate, earthy hops, nutty notes, grass. Mild floral bitterness in the finish.
3.8At first it looks like more orange, but the colour is clearer at light, gold definitely, with a thin white head.
Aroma is sweet, dominated by citrus and floreal notes. I read a lot of reviews speaking of peaches, but I think there’s something like tropical fruits in it, and caramel also. Very inviting.
I was read for very hoppy and bitter first sip, but it was way softer than expected.
In mouth the beer keeps all the features that tickled the nose, even enhanced by a quick medium-heavy bitter finish, like a little friendly slap on your cheeks.
Body is light and carbonation quite soft.
So refreshing, it’s very difficult to stop drinking. This beer could go down with a single sip!
I really didn’t see it coming, but I loved this one.
2.3Vetinen kokemus.
3.5Pours cloudy amber with light off white head. Aroma of hops, hint of rose. Taste slightly bitter hops, orange peel all with a hint of malt. Pleasant on the palate. Nice enough.
