3.3Aroma; malt, caramel, bread, fruit. Look; off white head, clear golden body. Taste; malt, caramel, bread, fruit spices, butter, flower, finish is lingering fruity. Feel; good body, ok co2. Overall; very nice beer. [btl w Lmojoh T@Hamna&Bier March2018] 5374'14
3.5Robe dorée claire limpide, mousse correcte, un peu visqueuse. Carbo correcte. Nez de grain, légèrement herbacé. En bouche, pas mal de corps, légèrement malté, un peu brioché, avec dans un deuxième temps le houblon herbacé. Rafraichissant et agréable, bien mieux que la lager de base.
3.5Cask pint@Charlies Bar, Copenhagen - golden yellow pour with white head and. Fruity and light pale bready malty, with notes of straw, hay, light to medium body, lovely cask soft carbonation and mouthfeel, grassy hoppy light bitter finish. Good stuff.
3.6On tap at Tipsy Toad Pub. Pale golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with a touch of herbal and spicy hops. Sweet malty flavour with nice herbal hops and a decent bitter finish.
3.2Bottle from Lakes & Dales co-operative, Seaton Delaval. Hazy, straw coloured with a white head of rocky foam. It has a herbal and grassy flavour followed by a delicate lemon and bitter-sweet finish. Pretty good.
3.0Aroma malt, brød, karamell. Utseende klar gylden med hvitt skum. Smak malt, krydder, fruktig krydder, brødtoner, humle. svakt bitter, lett fruktig, litt tsjekkisk, fyldig. Flaske delt med DjOeye på Hamna o Bier, 33cl 4,5%
3.7Slightly hazy gold. Large rocky head with high retention. Aroma intensity 3/5. Cut grass, acacia, herbs and hay in the nose. Medium bitter bready taste. Light to medium body
3.3Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a lager glass. Unclear pale golden, good two finger frothy white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing; aroma malts, grain, light orange, grass; taste light heavy sweet and medium bitter, malty, grainy, light citrus; dry sweetbitter finish, peppery notes; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; nice lager.
3.0Grainy sweetish beginning. Fresh and floral with nice round grainy body. Round and refreshing, a bit too grainy with sweetish hints, but round and drinkable.
3.4Draught at Cloisters Bar, Edinburgh, Scotland. Clear golden, medium white head. Earthy malt aroma, some floral and grainy hops. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry, low to medium bitterness.
3.0Bottle shared (shred) at Boom. Clear golden with white head. Sweet pils malts, grain husks, light bready, soft grass, hint of paper, apricot and honey. Under medium sweet and bitter. Under medium bodied. Decent malty lager.
3.0Bottles shared at Poeflokaal de Boom, Alkmaar. Slight hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of light soapy hops, grain, malt and light grassy notes. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Above light bodied with light carbonation.
3.7Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pours clear straw gold with foamy white head. Aromas major in a sweet malt front with a very gentle spice. Taste is light and fresh with a nice fruitiness and gentle pepper finish over a sweet malt base. It has a light body with moderate carbonation. This is a fantastic easy drinking, clean, fresh lager that gives a gentle nod to Belgium.
3.2Pours a pale colour. Taste is crisp and dry as good as anything you’d get on the continent
3.4Bottle. Bronze with a small head. Sweet, medium body. The seetnes wasn’t overpowering but after a while it got quite boring. My first from this brewery for some time and not one that will be easy to remember.
3.4Pours gold, clear, tight white head, modest carbonation. Soft aroma of hay. Quite sweet, almost Kolsch like, but clean and very drinkable.
3.113/20 really light and fresh, nice taste, just 4.5%. One dimensional lager but pleasant
3.4330 ml bottle bought at Food Wise in Shek Wui Hui, Sheung Shui.
Clear light blonde colour; One-quarter finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Good sticky lacing with active carbonation; Slightly pungent and sweet aroma of Lager malt, with strong apricots, strong honey, floral, sugar, bread, light spices, lemon and strong grass; Medium sweet taste of Lager malt, with honey, strong floral, molasses, dry bread, strong lemon, strong bitter hops and sharp grass;
Light body. Thin but slick palate; Mouth Feel is fairly good Lager maltyness in a watery but slick background. Strong honey and floral up front but ultimately dominated by strong glassy bitter hops, which balanced the sweetness nicely. Strong lemon to round. Slim but nice!... Hoppiness is strong apricots, floral, light spices, lemon and strong grass in nose. Strong floral, strong lemon and sharp grass in taste; Bitterness is strong for a lasting, high astringent and bitter sweet finish; Fairly dry after taste. Sweet malty and strong bitter to mouth.
Comments: This one is a pretty well-made Lager. Light body aside, it has good maltyness, nice yellow fruit and honey aroma, clean sweetness fully balanced by strong bitter grassy hoppiness. Well-suited as good light refreshment. Nice one!
2.5Pours an almost clear yellow, vibrant with colour, with a white head. Flavour and smell fall flat, though still a refreshing drink.
2.7Bottle from Booths, Media City. Lightly hazed with an extremely thin head. Has a mild fizz in the palate with a crisp, lager-malt fruitiness, but not overly stated in the latter aspect. Blonde in colour, but not really in style.
3.3A bit fizzy as you'd expect. Quite a flowery taste but hardly any aroma. Very sweet and tastes like sweet honey.
2.5Bottle. Straw color with medium white foam. Aroma: malt + slightly spicy and floral hops. Taste: light sweetness, fruits, pear, malt, hops, a little bitter hops.
2.4Dissapointingly lacking in both carbonation and freshness. Never sure about Scottish breweries adopting a blonde. Improved slightly as the glass emptied - but expected better.
3.2Bit wishy washy but did like it. Nothing spectacular but passable and would like to try in draught if done. No head retention. Lager lookalike. Bit floral citrus . Improved as it warmed
2.3500ml, brown bottle, cork and cask. Pours light pale with a thin white head subsiding quickly. Scent is light pale malt. Taste is light lager, little skunk. Little bitter. Finish is little acid/vomit. Fine.
3.5Bottle @home. Pours yellow with a thin-ish white head. Almost wine like on the nose, odd, some grass/hay notes. Nice bitterness to the finish with a touch of caramel sweetness.
2.2On tap at O’Connors. Slightly hazy golden with thin white head. Aroma of sweet wort, sweet pale malt, grain and some grassy hops. Taste is grain, sweet, wort, pale malt, grass, hay with a light bitterness in the finish.
