Black Isle Organic Porter

Black Isle Organic Porter

Dark roasted chocolate malts produce this dry, full-bodied ruby black beer with deep notes of treacle and coffee. So velvety smooth it glides across the tongue like a mythical monster beneath the surface of a loch!

Note: ABV previously 4.8% and 4.5%.

Very smooth with coffee notrs on a short finish.
3.4 A bit too chilled for me so I'd like to have it again but it's a decent malty porter with a bit of fruit and chocolate but the chill really takes the edge off the flavour.

3.3 Bottle. Pours very deep brown/black, thin tan head. Soft roasted malt aroma. A little thin but dry and quite refreshing for a porter. Some coffee and charcoal notes, but it's all a little subtle for me.
