An amber colored ale, Black Isle Red Kite is brewed using only the highest quality Maris Otter pale and crystal malts for flavor and body. Challenger hops for bittering with the late addition of Styrian Goldings creates a balance of quenching citrus and malt, and a classic aromatic finish to this refreshing ale. This beer is bright amber with a toasted nut flavor and powerful orange fruit aroma.

Flaske. Gave fra Rune. Amber. Høyt luftig skum med litt farge. Spotlacing. Lett karamellaroma. Smaken karamell, nøtter & kjeks. Tørr fruktig avslutning. Innholdsrikt øl. En utmerket bitter.
Hazy amber pour, thin head. Sweet caramel and touches of fruit like orange and mandarin. A little tobacco flavour and aroma too. Ok.
Aroma karamell, mørke frukter, malt, humle. Utseende uklar mørk rødbrun med offwhite skum. Smak plomme, karamell, malt, humle, krydder. Middels fylde, smaksrik, god bitterhet, lang ettersmak. Flaske kjøpt på Gulating Tromsø, 33cl 4,2% BF291118
Pours a beautiful copper/amber with white head. Well balanced malty flavours with a subtle bitterness. Even some caramel. Good.
Bottle from Sainsbury's. Pours a clear red brown with a fluffy sandy tan head. Lots of lovely bubbles in the glass. Nose is light with a treacle malt and little brown sugar. Taste has the treacle and brown sugar with a light boring leafy hop. It's light to medium bodied with a soft moderate carbonation. A fine bittersweet red ale.

Red ale sympa, bien dans son style, c'est à dire facile à boire, léger, sur le caramel, tofee, un peu de malts plus sombres en arrière plan' et une amertume douce qui balance bien le tout

Pours amber with a white fluffy head, pretty average aroma and taste to go with it. Average beer
Bottle. Amber/copper coloured. Nice foamy head. Mild aroma of toffee, nuts and hints of citrus fruits. Taste is malty, slighty fruity, a little bit nutty, caramell and bitter liquorice. Finish is quite bitter. Low to medium carbonation. Ok.
Bottle from Tesco, Stirling. Pours amber. Medium thick foam crest, bits of seafront lacing. This is not necessarily an exciting beer, but it is tasty and well made. Crusty UK hop type flavour, with bits of sweet malt. Fresh, with some rye berry effect.
33cl bottle. Clear amber with an off-white head. Caramel, bread and citrus. Nice.
Bottle from Beer52. Deep copper with a lasting beige head. Toffee and minerals at first, then warming juicy chewy malt, creamy butterscotch, berries, orange and earth with a dry finish. Not big punchy flavours, but great balance and good depth. A top-notch and very satisfying bitter.
KØLF 190816. Amber color with a beige head. Aroma is malt, bread, cellar notes. Flavor is malt, bread, cellar notes, caramel. Medium body. Ordinary beer.
500ml bottle. Pours an deep copper red with an off white head. Didn’t get a huge amount from the nose tbh apart from some red fruit and toffee malt. Has a very light mouth feel and is fairly carbonated. There is much more in the taste though, sweet toffee and apple with some blackberry and bitter orange. Has a slight toasted and nuttiness to it and a touch of bitterness at the end. Pleasant brew and I love the fact it’s organic.

Bottle at home, from SB. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma medium malty (caramel) and hoppy (citrusy). Flavor light sweet, medium bitter. Medium body.
Fcking Craft Pub Moscow bottle: pours deep amber with an off white head. Aroma is light caramel and bread. Taste is caramely, malty, toffee, and kind of sweet. Not really great.
Clean amber. Thin to medium head, average retention. Aroma intensity 2.75/5. Metal and caramel in the nose. Malty medium bitter taste. Medium body
Bottle. Amber color with off white head. Aroma has toffee and citrus hops. Taste is malty with bitter and a bit sweet aftertaste. Flavors of citrus, malt, caramel and toffee.
Bottle drunk at home. Peaty butterscotch aroma. Hops well to the back. Burnished amber colour with creamy head. Sensible carbonation. Rich taste, not too sweet, quite earthy with a tone of Dundee Marmalade. A little cloying: Not my favourite style but the other half liked it a lot.

Clean, mild flavor with some toffee and near even bitter/sweet balance. More hops than expected for style but still malt dominated.

Pours cloudy brown with off whitebhead, good lacing. Aroma chocolate and raspberry. Taste sweet,smooth and kind of like a ruffle bar chocolate with creamy raspberry.
