2.9 Pleasant best bitter. Pours clear darkish golden. Very thin head and little aroma. Malty and hoppy.
3.4 Pours a clear golden coloration with a large, creamy head and visible carbonation clinging to the glass. Smells of doughy, grainy malt and hints of grassy hops. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by doughy, grainy malt and hints of grassy, herbal hops, with a slight mineral note as well. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some grains lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light body and medium carbonation. A decent Golden Ale that is crisp, easy drinking and refreshing, with a good bitterness, but slightly unpleasant mineral note.
2.8 500ml bottle into pint glass. From ALDI, Riverwood. Pours a clear bronze colour with fine carbonation. Large crown of foam on top. Faint aroma of grassy hops, a little smoky. Surprisingly effervescent with some herbal bitterness then finishing with dark caramel. Easy-drinking thirst smasher. Very much a Northern English beer.
3.2 F: medium, bit tan, not long lasting. C: amber, light hazy. A: malty, sweet cereals, grassy, fruity, biscuits. T: malty, fruity, bit soapy, grassy, bit biscuits, peach, floral, medium body and soft carbonation, dry on the palate, ok for the style, not bad and not great, enjoyed, 0,5l bottle (4,5%) as “Black Sheep Golden Sheep Ale” from “'t Iengels Wienkeltje” food store in Ostende.

3.1 • Bit of yeast/wheat (‘damp raincoat’ funk) + caramel-y biscuit on nose. [FIRST GOLD HOPS, CHALLENGER HOPS]. • Quite thin body – sweetish, citrus-y. • Honeyed bread, then a bit of a rounded/wheaty end. [MARIS OTTER MALT WHEAT]
3.0 Pours golden with foamy head nice mouthfeel well carbonated initially sweet with bitter finish ok but not outstanding
2.5 A clean, slightly eggy aroma, a nice sweet malt and a marginally more assertive bitterness. It’s balanced but leans a touch in that direction. A hint of metal.
