3.4 Refrigerated 12 oz bottle dated notched with a BB date of Nov. 2015. Clear medium brown body; some sediment from the bottom of the bottle added mid-tasting. Mild but pleasant aroma with borwn bread and toffee dominating. The flavor is even milder, with a near equal bitter/sweet balance.
3.3 Tap. Pours clear chestnut, small tan head, creamy with nice lacing. Aroma is light roasty, brown bread, hint of ashtray. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, roasty, hint of smoke. Medium body

3.2 12 ounce bottle thanks to John. Light color for a nut brown ale. Nutty with some chocolate notes. Ok. Body too light.
3.4 3/21/15. Sample on a flight at Suttree’s the bar... with Suttree the dude (no relation)! Brown pour with a nice khaki head. Nice aroma, light nuttiness, toffee, biscuit. Good flavor, nutty, a hint at chocolate, toffee, biscuit. Tasty enough.
3.3 Keg at the brewpub, Nashville, 15/02/15. Clear chestnut brown/amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is toffee, biscuit, light perfumed notes, fruit peel. Taste comprises biscuit, nutty tones, caramel, light floral notes, vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid brown number.

3.0 Bottle. Nutty chocolate toffee malt and straw aroma. Chestnut with small light tan head. Lightly sweet nutty toffee malt and mildly bitter herbal grass flavor. Very nice aroma but a bit of a let-down in the flavor department.
3.3 Bottle: Clear, red-brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of caramel/chocolate...nuts. Sweet, nutty, mild chocolate taste.... Nothing outstanding....a fairly solid brown...pretty decent.
2.9 Draft at brewery. The pour is a light brown. The aroma is a sweeter malt. The taste is a standard nut brown, lacking a little on the flavor.
3.4 Pours deep dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is roast, dark chocolate and caramel. Taste is sweet with some dark chocolate bitters. Medium bodied with slick texture.
2.9 Light and watery brew with less aroma and flavor than desired from the style. Not bad by any means, just not much of anything.

2.6 Bottle at home. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head of foam that disappeared quickly. Light aroma of roasted nuts. Tastes of nuts and malt. Light body. Not enough body for such a dark ale.

3.1 Bottle sample at RBWG. Pours brown in color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor had roasted malt, nuts, a little cocoa and some earthy bitterness. A bit better than their APA.

3.1 Look: pours a dark brown. Dark red color when held to the light. White head that turns into thick lacing. Smell: ripe dark fruit smell. Cherries and raisins. Strong malt Taste: strong cherries. Maybe a red apple Feel: not to thick but a good beer. Nice carbonation. Smooth a lifter taste. Overall: not a bad beer. Sweet on the nose and tongue.
3.0 This one poyured a lighter brown color with an offw htiehead. Aroma was of toast, caramel and light nut character. Flavor was similar, fairly bland caramel malt and some toast. Bland but not offensive.
3.3 On Tap at Blackstone Restaurant and Brewery in Nashville TN. A rich deep brown clear liquid with a light tan head. Nose is sweet and full of good roasted malt and nut earthiness. Taste is a full round and earthy roasted malt with a hazelnut aspect which is clear. Body is smooth and full. finish is a good amount of warming roasted malt.
2.5 It poured a dark brown color with an off-white head. The aroma was of moderate toasted maltiness. It had medium body with a sticky texture. The taste was medium balanced with a bittersweet finish of moderate duration.

3.4 12 ounce bottle from Libation Station. Pours a clear bright dark red with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of dark fruits, brown malts, nuts. The taste is toffee malts, red apple, dark fruits, citrus hops. Thin-medium bodied. Solid beer, exceeded my expectations.

2.9 Bottle @ Beer Fart Dunegeon Aloft. Pours a red violet appearance with a tan head. Nutty pecan candy aroma. Fairly dei. Light paper. Bland toast flavor. Bleh.
3.2 Not a bad brown ale. Pours clear, dark brown. Aroma is different, almost pungent. Taste has a little bitter bite to it, but overall a decent brown ale.
