3.4 Bottle 75 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque yellowish golden with some yeast sediment. Frothy head at the pour, but it dissipates quickly. Yeasty, spicy nose with citrusy hops. Medium body, quite fizzy, sweet fruitiness, yeasty and hoppy with a rustic farmhouse character (not Bretty). Bitter finish. Very old school Belgian. 110822
4.2 (Bottle) Cloudy and bright golden-orange body with a big, fluffy white head that slowly recedes into (a) stiff, rolling mounds and then (b) a creamy thin cap, with tufts of lacing on the glass. Interesting note: after unwinding the muselet, the cork shot off the bottle without me touching it. Funky and yeasty aroma; malt; hay; spices; a bit musty/earthy. Flavor is mildly sweet; sharp and delicate; grass, yeast, light fruit, grain, light herbal; finishes dry and moderately bitter.
3.9 18 May 2022. At Hal 16 (Dok Brewing). Cheers to the Teamleader crew! Hazy yellow, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of hay, bread crust, plum, mandarin, lemongrass, wet pepper, banana. Taste has sweetish plum, apple & banana against a thick bready malt backbone with a spicy and citrusy streak underneath. Grassy hoppy finish, notes of spices, dry hay and citrus. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Perfectly balanced Saison.
3.6 Banana-coloured, hardly any foam, yeast in the nose, creamy mouthfeel. Dry and bitte in the finish. Interesting beer
3.7 On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Fresh lemon % lime aromas, touch of baked apple, banana. Taste is lemon, lime, vanilla, banana. Interesting flavour combo. Spicy bittersweet finish.
3.7 Shared glass at Lagerhuys in Amsterdam. Clear golden pour with white head; decent retention. Aroma fresh and fruity, yellow fruits, apple, nearly grapey, not typical saison yeasty. Taste is accordingly, yellow fruits, apple, mild bitter. Form carbo. Wellmade beer.
3.8 Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is peppery Saison yeast, hay, some floral and herbal notes, grass, citrus. Flavour is relatively bitter with a very dry finale. Body is medium. Classy Saison, dry, peppery and a bit floral.
4.2 Dry, spicy, crispy as a saison should be. American hops add a layer to this beer. Excellent collaboration between Belgian and American styles. High on the scale of price/quality.

4.0 750ml bottle pours out straw color topped with a white head. Nose is great lemongrass citrus spice. Taste is more of the nice spice mix citrus touch. This was great.

3.9 375ml green bottle with cork and cage from the LCBO. Beautiful smell from the start with a green bottle Euro pilsner spiciness. Then, other spices come out with lemon peel and mineral water notes. Light golden colour with tiny unfiltered particles, lively carbonation creating a huge bubbly-frothy white cap. great retention and some patches of foamy lacing. Lemon zest leaves nice dryness, bitterness on the tongue. Hints of spices and Belgian sugars, wheat sweetness. Gets quite hazy at the last pour. A nice collaboration between a Belgium brewery and one we know and love from Vermont, USA.
4.2 Golden color with a white head. Aroma contains some lemon zest, tons of spices, and some earthy notes. The flavor is mildly sour with a heavy spice presence. Some bitterness in the finish. Overall really nice.
3.7 375 ml bottle as gift, pours with a frothy big head, need to wait to settle down, earthy, farm smells, some citrus , bread, spicy, smooth decent carbonation on the palate, some bitter, with a dry note finish, decent.
4.0 Spices, Belgian yeast, pepper, bread and grass. Smooth! Great!
3.8 Flaska från Systembolaget. Ljust gul med drivor av vitt skum. Ettrig munkänsla. Citrus och örter i doft och smak.
3.9 2021/09/07 - Pours a hazy, dirty yellow straw colour with a fuzzy white head that quickly dissipates and leaves no lacing. Aroma is citrus, banana, spices, light funk, yeast and bready malts. Taste is more citrus, bready notes, yeast, spices and light funk. Mouthfeel is medium with smooth carbonation and a long, peppery, pithy finish. Nice one.
3.8 375 ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clearish golden colour with large white head. Aroma is quite funky and farmy with some grains and citrus. Flavour has lots of funky, barnyard character with grains and lemon. Lively carbonation. Dry finish. Nice.
4.1 (Bottle) clear, bright yellow colour with a tall white head; aroma of grain, herbs, honey; dryish flavour with a long, strong bitter finish; excellent
3.7 Very well done classical saison. Made perfectly to style. Clean yet funky, very well balanced with a good full body. Craft and draft ams
3.2 Nose peppery, hay malts, pith. Taste leads with strong pithy bitterness over creamy hay malts, some yeasty off notes. Not loving it.
3.2 75cl bottle filled the night before from the tap of BeerOut, Forlì, Italy. Pours hazy opaque gold, with limited white foam, fine. Aroma is orange peel, a little toffee. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium bitter and with moderate acidity. Final is fairly long and moderately acidic.
3.4 It pours hazy gold; the head is white and foamy, it stays a while. The aroma has notes of: pepper, orange zest, grapefruit pith, and white pepper. The taste is heavy bitter that finishes crisp. The palate is medium full bodied, with medium carbonation, and a long bitter finish. Overall, it is crisp and refreshing - though slightly under balanced.
3.8 Copenhagen 9/4 2021. 75 cl corked bottle from Kihoskh, Sdr. Boulevard, Kbh. V. Monk with a horse art with beer barrels on the label. Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a very big and bubbly white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of. Aroma is fairly intense with a tart odor mingling with yeasty notes and bit of spice. Citrus and lemon. Orange. Humid, musty cellar. Black pepper. Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a moderate sweetness followed by a quite strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is tart. Lingering. Dry finish. I would lie if I claimed I could taste the spelt - but it is a very nice Saison.
4.5 A favorite especially when drinking the larger bottle at Blaguies restaurant. Not quite as nice in the smaller bottle when I ordered 4 cases to Liguria from home consumption.
3.8 hazy pale orange color, big hat of white foam quickly disappearing yellow fruits such as peach apple slight banana and citrus note bit of acidity that makes it really easy to drink light body medium high carbonation long dry citrus bitter finish
