2.9 It pours light gold with a white head that is a bit foamy. It does not have very good head retention. The aroma is very sweet. It has aromas of cinnamon and brown sugar. There are also background notes of apples and nutmeg. The initial flavor reminds me of apple sauce flavored with cinnamon. It certainly is quite sweet. There is some additional spiciness and nutmeg. It has a light body and a sweet finish. It also has high carbonation level. Overall this is a sweet beer with most of the flavors and aromas centered around apples and cinnamon.
3.0 12 oz bottle pulled from the fridge a party, 8/27/16. Orange color. Sweet aroma and flavor of cinnamon, other spices, sweet malts, wheat, cereal, and vanilla. Okay.
3.3 12 oz. can. Pours clear, pale gold, with a small, fleeting, grey head. The aroma is vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, and corn syrup. Very sweet flavor, with only a hint of spice. Medium body, creamy, and smooth. This is a nicely spiced, simple, and delicious beer.
3.0 Bottle. Pours golden orange with a white head. Light grainy and wheaty base, with sweet vanilla, cinnamon, and a quick and inoffensive finish. Not overly sweet. Fine.
2.2 Bottle into a pint glass. Aroma of cinnamon and a hint of spice. Taste is sweet.
3.2 330ml served in a tulip glass. A: Pours a cloudy orange color forming a medium light white head that dissipates quickly leaving few lacings. S: Quite spice nose. Sweet upfront, Strong Notes of wheat, orange zest, clove and cinnamon. Notes honey and bready yeasts. T: Taste follows the nose, sweet upfront. Wheat, orange zest, cinnamon and clove and earthy yeasts. Light hops bitterness. M: Light body. Smooth texture. Medium carbonation. Wheat, cinnamon and orange in the aftertaste. O: Medium drinkability.
3.1 Bottle shared by a friend. Clear yellow pour with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, cinnamon and vanilla. Malty flavor with big cinnamon before a creamy, yet thin vanilla finish.
2.9 Bottle. It poured a cloudy golden color with a white head. The aroma was of cinnamon and grains. The taste was similar to the aroma with more cinnamon and light malty grains. Decent.
3.7 12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/13/2017. Pours lightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cinnamon, vanilla, cream, apple, wheat, and cracker; with lighter notes of honey, banana, bubblegum, clove, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of spices, pale malt, and light-moderate yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of cinnamon, vanilla, cream, apple, wheat, and cracker; with lighter notes of honey, banana, bubblegum, clove, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of cinnamon, vanilla, cream, apple, wheat, cracker, light banana/clove, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of spices, pale malt, and light-moderate yeast ester flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a nice spiced wheat ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of spices, pale malt, and light-moderate yeast ester flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Very flavorful and not too spicy or sweet. A nicely enjoyable offering.
3.1 12 oz. can pours a hazy pale golden color with small white head and a couple spots of lacing. Aroma is mostly cinammon. Taste is cinammon and horchata without any hop bitterness. Body is light to medium with average carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. This is a simple idea executed well: make an inoffensive beer that tastes like cinammon horchata.
3.6 Translucent pale yellow with a forthwith dissipating meager white head. Extremely unique aroma containing notes of cinnamon, lemon, sugar, pastry, and a menagerie of fall spices. Light bodied and lager like texture. Unique flavour as well consisting of once again lemon pastry, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and honestly horchata. Although the taste is not magnificent, its uniqueness sans revolting taste is surely worthy of an enjoyable experience and ale.
2.6 12oz bottle from Total Wine in Reno Pours clear golden with a small white head, light lacing. Aroma of wheat and mild cinnamon. Flavor of cinnamon, light grains and citrus Decent, if you try hard enough it kind of tastes like horchata.
2.6 bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of spice and a little malt. Cloudy bright golden amber color, barely a head, and it quickly disappears, thin strings of lace. Taste is light malt with strong pumpkin pie spices, especially cinnamon. medium carbonation on the swallow, barely any hops in the finish. An odd spiced brew.
3.4 Weird and quite interesting at the same time. Easy to drink but can be suspiciously tiring after a while.
2.9 Twist cap 12 ounce bottle poured to glass Appearance: pale light amber liquid, big white foam dissipates quickly but lingers Aroma: Nose: not a lot, noticeable cinnamon smell while drinking Taste: low bitterness tart Mouthfeel: lively carbonation Overall: Good beer, ok to repeat but not look for Drank: 8/14/2016 5:00 PM
3.0 Bottle. Pours hazy pale yellow with large foamy white head, cinnamon aroma, low carbonation, sweetish citrus taste with cinnamon flavor, thin body, long citrusy finish. It’s rather like a lemonade with cinnamon.
3.1 On tap at Fifth Third Ballpark in Geneva, IL., home of the Kane County Cougars, vendor dispensed to plastic showing a fairly clear, golden hue, with a fair layer of white head foam, and some ribbons of lacing. The nose was honey sweetness, light esters as peach & apple, and hints of cinnamon & vanilla. A little less than medium bodied, the carbonation was lively enough to help refresh. The taste was much like mild cider, and light horchata spicing, with a bit of graininess on the palate. Pleasant picnic, or in this case, ballgame faire.
2.5 What the hell. Slightly hazy yellow pour with a white head. Nose and taste are cinnamon roll-like. Sweet and artificial. Bleh.
2.5 Pours a clear straw yellow with a medium head of white foam. Not much of an aroma. Very plain and Blah. I couldn’t taste the cinnamon or rice or much of anything.
2.9 Bottle. Pours a hazy light golden with a finger thick head and light lacing. Smells of lemon and spice. Taste of lemon, cinnamon, light horchata. Minimal bitterness and a pleasant aftertaste. They went a bit overboard on the flavoring and didn’t get it quite right, but it isn’t bad.
2.2 Bottle poured hazy orange yellow with a small white head and little lacing. Aromas of orange, vanilla, wheat malt, and spice hints. Flavor is sweet and fairly flat.
2.0 Tap. Ordered by my wife... Pours hazy orange, small white head, some lacing. Aroma is very light, cinnamon and vanilla. Flavor is sweet, candy like, vanilla, cinnamon, faint oranges. Light body, almost no carbonation.
2.8 Bottle poured in a mug. Aroma of cinnamon toast and malt. Thick white head. Tastes of cinnamon and malt. Not bad but won’t have again.
2.1 Aroma: sweet notes, cinnamon, fruits. Appearance: hazy straw color and almost no head. Taste: sweet, cinnamon, red apples, spicy, sweet. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation. Overall: Sweet and slightly spicy, like a cake.
3.0 Smells like a cinnamon rice cake Pours a slightly hazy pale golden color with quickly disappearing head. Flavor also reminds me of cinnamon rice cake, which isn't a bad thing. Medium light bodied with medium high co2, lingering cinnamon sweetness. Good light dessert beer.
3.6 Brewmaster’s Seasonal Sampler 12-pack - $12.99 at Kroger in Woodstock, Georgia Appearance: Pours a near clear, light yellow body with a very small, thin white head. Smell: Ever so slightly sweet-scented with a spoonful of fairly fragrant cinnamon powder. Taste: A subtle, clean, faintly bready maltiness with a firm cereal sweetness and big helping of powderized cinnamon backed by a little rice (more than anticipated initially). Scant, ill-defined tangy fruitiness. Remains spicy and sweet beyond the finish into the aftertaste. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Overall: While it falls short of its namesake horchata, it is evocative of one’s childhood cereal, namely Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
3.1 12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured clear, yellow, small white head, no lacing. Aroma is mostly cinnamon, some fruit some malts and some bread. Taste is sweet, spicy, lots of cinnamon and apple like notes combined whit wheat. Certainly not bad, enjoyable and drinkable.
3.6 12 oz. bottle as part of a seasonal pack, courtesy of my dad. Hazy gold pour with a frothy off-white head. Pleasant cinnamon aroma. Taste is of a Belgian wit with vanilla cookie and cinnamon notes (almost exactly what you would expect). Very pleasant and easily exceeded my relatively low overall expectations.
5.0 Took a chance on this beer and was instantly in love with it. It is a desert beer with a delicious cinnamon taste to it. It is not a beer you cam drink a whole six pack of but it is great to keep aroumd the house for every once in a while.
2.4 Huh... To me this tasted like cinnamon applesauce. It is not awful but it is not good. It is more like a cider than a beer.
