Blue Moon Pale Moon

Blue Moon Pale Moon

Pale Moon is a drinkable pale ale that has a distinctive hop aroma without the lingering aftertaste. This Belgian-Style Pale Ale is brewed with European malts, Cascade hops, and a touch of hibiscus and orange peel. These ingredients create a rich copper colored ale with a flavor complexity that one would expect from the Blue Moon Brewing Company.

2.9 bottle. golden with small head. light malt with some citrus hops. a hint of some belgian yeast. eh.
2.7 Last beer on Superbowl Sunday. I know. Pretty low. Clear amber. Slight fruity, malty, hint of an eatery yeast. Taste is beer soaked bread, minor fruity hints, grass. Meh.
2.0 Bottle. Gold pour with hopcitrus smell, minimal nose and flavor. Mild hopcitrus, tangerine, and a light body and underwhelming finish.
2.3 Bottle. Amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of yeast, spice, malt and hops.
2.4 Brown pour with aroma of spice and citrus. Citrus flavor with spice, and yeast. Okay.
2.6 Bottle. Pours a dark amber brown colour with a good size white head, malty yeasty aroma, the taste is sweet with malt and some fruit, with a dry sweet finish.
2.5 Definitely a weak tasting Belgian style beer. Mild aroma and flavors. Watered down light, decent at best.
2.6 330 ml. bottle, label reads "Blue Moon" and "Blue Moon Brewing Co. I guess they try to hide is from Coors. Hazy pale colour, with a samll head that fades to nothing in a short time, leaving a small lace. Smell of citrus and grains, with some skunky and artificial notes. Carbonation is good for a soft drink., decent and refreshing palate. Taste of citrus and some spice. And soft drink., everything very faint. Not bad for a Coors, but nothing I’ll try again. And aobut the Belgian Pale Ale.... strange mis betwwen that and a Belgian White, it doesn’t work.
2.6 bottle, orange color with some white foam, aroma is citrusy hops but plain, flavor is some fruit, caramel and a boring finish.
2.1 Nothing special honestly Belgian pale ales are good but this one doesn't bring anything special.
3.8 Досить непогане пиво. Янтарний колір,аромат зерна і трав. Смак травяний з хмелевою гіркотою
2.8 Rated in 2010 (Backlog) - Amber in color with an average sized off-white head. Aroma is of grain and weeds. Taste is of grass, dirt and hops.
3.0 Nice flavor that's almost like a light amber, the hibiscus gives it an added sweetness without overdoing it.-- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10
2.9 Bottle. Pours a dark amber brown colour with a good size white head, malty yeasty aroma, the taste is sweet with malt and some fruit, with a dry sweet finish.
2.4 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear light honey color. Aroma of floral, grass, a touch of citrus. Flavor is floral, citrus, caramel, hint of hoppy bitterness in the finish. Aftertaste is slightly dry. Not too shabby. However, there are far better ales out there.
3.2 The head is medium, the body darkred-brown. It smells hoppy-malty. The taste is mild, a bit hoppy, malty, sweet, fruity. The taste is ok, just a bit mild. 12/11/10/10/12/10
2.0 Meh, its a weak belgian. Not a fan of belgians so i could actually drink this easier. But still not good.
3.2 I must enjoy most of these Blue Moons a bit more than the average. I found the aftertaste/stomachfeel of this to be quite nice. A light spice and hop to it. Certainly a drinkable beer and one you could use to introduce beers to the uninformed.
3.0 12oz bottle, given to me gratis by a Coors rep along with the rest of the Blue Moon gang. Pours copper orange with thin, lasting white head; not much lacing. Aroma gives the plain, slighty earthy/spicy nose that I associate with mass-produced English pales such as Marstons Pedigree. Bit of breadiness in there too. Taste is equally unremarkable: some spices and herb notes, a touch of biscuit and caramel, some vegetable notes. Finish is brief, not much of an aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel, Bland, inoffensive stuff: glad I didn’t pay for it.
2.8 Clear, dark copper pour with a thin beige head that has good retention and leaves a little lacing. Aroma of toast, caramel, citrus and floral hops and floury grain. Flavor is toast, dry hay, caramel, nuts, citrus hops, light floral hops and some vegetal and mineral notes tot the finish. Light and dry, slightly chalky body with a moderate, blanketing carbonation. Actually not that bad. Although it has some off flavors it remains subtle without being overshadowed by the vegetal and dishwater flavors I seem to find in all Blue Moon products.
3.6 Belgian-Style Pale Ale ; Bottled 355ml ; Exeter ; Devon ; UK ; Copper color with medium head ; Hoppy, floral, spice and wheat aroma ; Nicely bitter taste ; Very nice beer.
2.3 The Belgian pale ale from blue moon pours an orange amber with a soft white head. The aroma is orange and bread. The flavor baked bread and a hint of honey with orange. This beer is alright but nothing to take note of.
1.5 this was so bland i finished it and didnt even realize it. i vaguely remember a minor bit of citrus, a tiny bit of herbage, and a little bit of candy sugar. so yeah, not real interesting.
3.4 Copper pour with a white dissipating head. Aroma of hops with a taste of hops and citrus. Not complex but a really nice beer.
2.2 At a tasting, thanks kerenmk. intense and a little hazy orange colour, aroma of candy and sourdough bread, flavour of stale sourdough bread and quite grainy, feels plain. Drinkable but probably over the hill.
2.7 Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel. As Blue Moon Belgian Style Pale Ale. Pours hazy reddish with white head. Fruit, hard candy, strawberry aroma, sweet grape juice taste. Light body, hardly any carbonation, long candy finish.
1.9 Overall, meh. Not too bad but most flavors feel muted.slightly bitter but finishes as well as could be expected
3.0 Bottle. Pours clear copper thin tan head. Sweet caramel and toasty aroma. Hint of citrus, overall mild aroma. Medium sweet taste. Medium-thin body, thin texture, above average carbonation. Crisp finish, not picking much of the cascade hops. Easy to drink but nothing special.
