Blue Point Toasted Lager

Blue Point Toasted Lager

Toasted Lager was originally named for the “toasted” characteristic of our original direct-fire brick kettle. Our World Beer Cup gold medal winning flagship brew is brewed with a blend of six specialty malts for a flavor as rich and unique as the town it’s from. Toasted Lager’s balanced flavor of malt and hops makes for easy drinking and our special proprietary lager yeast produces an exceptional, long-lasting smooth finish.

3.2 Good toasty malt that works well with subtle and sessionable hip varieties. Good session.
3.7 Fajne slodkie. Slaby posmak
1.4 Nothing special. Just a brown tasting beer. Nothing special. Publix has stocked up and it has become popular but isn’t even good. I’ll take my Sierra Nevada thank you.
3.3 Can from the Beer Hawk mystery box. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of honey and bread. Light toast i guess if you look for it. Taste is more of the same, slightly grassy note at the end. OK.
3.3 Wasn't expecting much but this had a nice flavor. Not too heavy, but a definite flavor that was a bit toasted. Pretty nice.
2.5 Bottle from Frank's. Copper coloured. Malty, toasted malts, slightly grassy. Not that good.
3.2 Bottled. Amber body, small beige head. The aroma has toasted barley. The taste is bitter and roasted at the same time. Very pleasant.
3.3 From bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium head. Aroma and taste like biscuit, some toast, faint caramel. Medium mouthfeel. No real hops. Easy to drink with some nice flavor, too.
4.1 This beer was good. It made me cum
2.7 Average looking pour, grainy nose. Very low hoppyness. Easy drinking but nothing spectacular. Bottle @ Hammerstones, St. Louis.

2.9 355ml Dose. Bernsteinfarben mit leichter Trübung und mittelgroßer Schaumkrone. Feine Röstaromen unterlegt mit Karamellnoten. Eher leichter Körper. Etwas herb.
3.2 Bottle. Toasted malt aroma with notes of bready malt and caramel. Pours clear copper colored with a thin off white head that has some retention and decent lacing. Starts with bready and caramel malt flavors. Finishes smooth and refreshing with toasted malt flavors. Pretty good lager.
3.4 Easy drinking lager with a malty flavor. Not big in taste but good for a few
3.3 12 ounce bottle into glass at the house. Thin white head which disappears quickly. Light caramel in color. Aromas of light malt and smells sweet. Tastes sweet and a little malt taste. Light bodied. Some malted after taste. Decent beer for the style. Cheers!
4.0 Appearance: reddish amber; slight head Taste: similar to Sam Adams Lager in maltiness 9/4/18 - Pasta Lovers (Manhattan, NY)
3.5 Beautiful pour. Clear copper body with a thick foamy off-white head. Light, sweet aroma with hints of malt and bread. Medium palate with decent carbonation. Flavor is mostly sweet. Malty, bready, and a slightly bitter finish. Pretty good easy drinker.
2.3 Pours reddish amber with a thin head. Mild carbonation. Little distinctive aroma. Taste is a complex blend of Malts, somewhat sweet. Palate is simple, not too much to discuss. Decent beer.
1.0 Take a lager. Add just enough roasted malt to give it color, but absolutely no taste. Now cover up the lack of flavor with bitter hop bite. It fails in style. It fails in taste. Looks pretty though. P.S. I lived in Vienna for a year and in Munich for two.
3.4 Easy drinking American style lager. Light on the malt and not overly complex.
3.4 12oz bottle from BeerHawk, enjoyed in a snifter on 7-Jul-2018. Pale amber colour with a large white head. Aroma of caramel and malt. Medium body and carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, biscuit, sweet malt and a punch of spices. Add light bitterness to the finish. A decent American amber.
3.5 Bottle at a restaurant in upper east side Manhattan. Pours dark amber with white head. Lively carbonation. Toasted malts, sweetness. I like the malts in this one. Bitter and dry finish. Positively surprised with this one, solid beer.
3.2 Poured with a tall head with a lot of carbonation but not thick or creamy. Good, smooth and easy to drink. Lightly sweet malt with a bit of toasted flavor in the back. Smooth finish. (There was a very, very distant straight alcohol taste/smell at the finish that was a bit off, but I have only had one of these and will try a few more.) Yuengling is still my favorite American Lager -- but -- if I was in the mood for a Lager, and Yuengling was not available, I would not hesitate to order this one from Blue Point.
4.0 Lightly toasted flavor and decently malted. Blend of six malts according to the bottle, American-style amber lager. Great beer, easily daily drinkable
3.4 Pint from tap at the Old's Havana (Miami). Sweet and malty lager, medium body, not very good finish.
3.5 청량감있는 라거. 맥즙의 시원하고 상쾌한 약한 신맛도 일품.
2.9 Tap at a bar in Gatwick South Terminal. Pours a clear amber body with a white head. Aromas are malts. Taste is crisp malts with citrus and hoppy sweetness. Overall good.
2.3 Vom Fass@ Yankee Stadium, Bronx. Hellbraunes klares Bier, cremiger Schaum. Wenig Aroma. Malz, Getreide, ein Hauch Nuss. Antrunk Malz, etwas Holz. So gut wie kein Rauch. Schwache Nummer.
2.5 From a beer hawk mystery case. Pours flat golden orange. Little aroma. Sweet , smooth lager. Better than the 4.8% lagers but it’s lager .....
3.8 5.5%ABV. Vienna. Tapped out amber. 12°SRM. Nose has dark wheat toast, cereal. Toasted barley. Clean malty nose. Reminiscent of crystal malts. Nose is special with honey waffle aroma and honey wheat and hint of cinnamon toast. Mouthfeel is light and clean. Dry finish. Good hops at the end. Noble with wood, perfume, floral. Palate has biscuit, toast. Well attenuated with a clean dry finish. Hops are present with wood, hint of mint and floral. Overall, the toasted features of the beer came through with all the necessary supporting elements contributing to make that happen. A clean lager without the estery complexity of an ale featuring noble hoppiness with an emphasis on woodland.
