2.8 Pint from keg. Bit malty, some light fruity notes. A bit sweet taste, but actually rather thin. Nitro style dense bubbles and head.
2.7 Can from Morrisons, Birtley, Gateshead. Dark golden coloured with a thick white head. It has a sulphur, metallic and toffee flavour with an extremely smooth, creamy, bitter earthy finish. Not bad.
1.8 Golden color with with a bread and alcohol aroma. Sweet flavor that turns bitter quickly. Almost like honey at the start. Thin body.
2.9 Keg half pint at The Chambers, St. Helier. Deep golden to copper colour. Moderate malty and grainy aroma. Smooth flavour, some malts, but the hops are too modest.
3.5 Van tap in Londen. Droog, limoen, grassig. (7-2016).----------------------.
2.1 Can from a local supermarket, gifted to me, thought I'd show willing... Pours golden amber with a slowly settling and long lasting creamy white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, grass, fruit and boiled veg and very metallic. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Weak, sweet malt finish. Drain pour mostly.
0.7 must be 15 yrs since a drop of this muck has passed my lips . i remember it being cream bitter that was tasteless
3.1 (can 0,44l from Candy store (Brno)) Can with nitro widget. Aroma: Malty. Appearance: Clear golden color. All time, creamy, white head. Taste: Fruity, light sweet, light bitter, malty. Palate: Light-medium body. Creamy texture. Bitter finish. Overall: Ok.
2.8 Golden colour, cream white head and biscuit flavours, but often let down with overly dry and astringently bitter finish.
2.8 Can. Clear amber color, big nitro head. Nose: pale and toasted malts, fruity yeast. Light to medium body. Soft carbo. The tasting starts with sweetish biscuity malts. The middle is hollow. Light grassy bitterness finishes. Hoppy aftertaste. Not a highlight of English brewing I suppose.
4.0 My favourite at Old Trafford watching Man United. I can find it here in the States now and I frequent those pubs that serve it. Smooth and creamy good on a hot day in a cool public house. Just bitter enough.
2.6 Can. Golden with a small creamy head. Subdued aroma of malts and some floral hops. Taste is kind of fruity, metallic and some biscuit. Slightly bitter. Medium to strong carbonation. Watery but creamy and smooth mouthfeel. A bit bland and boring but definitely sessionable.
2.7 Fat. Klar guldfärgad med ett tjockt och krämigt skum. Dofter och smaker av trä, smör och gräs. Smörig avslutning med lätt beska.
2.3 Bit hazy amber color with no head. Sweet malty aroma, honey and some wood. Honey taste, pretty sweet, lots of flowers. Extremely watery. Flat carb.
2.9 January 18, 2017 - on tap at Lion&Rose. Clear golden pour with nice thick head that lasted. Aroma and taste of grain and malt, finish was mild bitter. A bit watery on the palate.
3.0 Pours clear golden with a thick and creamy head. Aroma offers malty and subtle fruity notes. Flavor offers mainly malt, just snippets of fruit and wood - woody hops? Smooth, creamy texture has average body and fizz, but it goes down well. A nice average bar beer. Enjoy with lunch or friends.
2.4 Tap at Wotton House Hotel, Dorking. Nil aroma. Looks OK - pale golden, creamy head. Light bitter - pretty favourless. Watery. A lager-esque bitter.
2.0 On Tap at Speakers Corner, Browns Bay in Auckland. Golden color with OK head. Not much of an aroma. Mild bitterness with a somewhat thin finish and a hint of lingering wet cardboard. Underwhelming.
2.5 A fairly typical nitro bitter. Smooth but fairly watery. Bland but easy to drink. Lacking in flavour and character but not disgusting.
2.6 Refreshing draught flow can. Easy to drink but pretty flavourless.
2.5 I used to be a big fan of this when I was younger, maybe my palate changed, maybe the recipe changed. It has a sort of bready, malty and slight floral taste - it’s very indistinct. I do like the creamy top though.
1.5 At the airport hotel after easyJet screwed me over. This was one of two options on the voucher. Can’t say it tastes bad, because there is not much there to critic. Lightly flavored water
1.9 Clear amber with thick head. No aroma. Amazingly thin and watery, with water being the predominant flavor, followed by a bit of beer and then a bit of hops. Insipid.
1.7 Pours golden, very creamy off-white head. Almost no aroma to speak of. Watery. Nearly flavorless.
2.4 Bland, watery and weak... only to be drunk when nothing else is available anywhere...
2.4 Keg at The Lion, Stoke-On-Trent. A clear deep golden colour with a creamy white head. Aroma of caramel, bready malts, some metal and slight fruits. Taste of caramel, some bready malts, slight fruits, a little apple and subtle metal. Light bodied but a watery texture. A short, malty bitterness in the finish. It’s a bland, watery draught bitter, I wasn’t expecting much.
2.4 A bit dull pub ale. Anyway easy drinkable and you do not get that drunk ha ha. Clear deep golden color with a creamy off white head. Ok lacing Down the glass. Medium light body and a soft carbonation. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Tad sweet and a mild bitterness. Caramel malty and some bready notes. A bit waterish actually. [On tap at Cafe Balzar - Stansted Airport (London), England]
2.9 Clear amber, medium, creamy head. Faint aroma of biscuits, malt, nuts. Similar in taste. Slightly bitter herbal finish. Watery.
2.5 Keg. Bursztynowy kolor ladna biala piana o gestej kremowej aparycji. Orzechowe nuty w smaku z goryczkowym akcentem. Ok
