2.0 Aroma of malt and medicine. Taste: malt and alcohol. Lots of alcohol in the aftertaste
0.7 donkey urine
3.2 This is another one of my old reviews that RB has somehow lost. I'm estimating they're losing about 5% of old reviews. This beer is not as good as what I remember. Lots of solvent qualities in there. Update: much better this time around but really nothing spectacular. Fairly bland ale and that's it. Not bad body, bittersweet.
3.0 Can at home. Dark orange color, middle foam size. Good balanced beer. Drinkable and fits into style.
2.2 Blonde Guinness. Not very good unless you want flat beer
3.0 Earlier Rating: 9/10/2019 Total Score: 3.6
4.7 Pours very smooth and clean. Golden caramel color with a creamy white head. First smell impression was of honey and banana. Very smooth taste.
3.0 Malt caramel aroma. Clear Amber colour great head and lacing. Malt caramel orange citrus flavour. Smooth palate.
2.5 From can (a month past BB date) in dimpled mug. Pours amber w/creamy, slow-settling head, faint malt aroma. Smooth drinking, light caramel & honey w/very little bitterness in the finish.
0.8 Can, Amber color with plenty of head and carbonation. Notes are so lacking and thin for the style. Some moldy bread, water, grain, rust and cream. Light to medium bodied. One and done on this beer for the rest of my life. Actually I would sip this one if the world was coming to an end in the very near future
4.5 I bought this from the alko shop in Helsinki, I was really impressed with it so much better than the normal stuff
3.3 Light and unintrusive, but overall pretty bland. Slightly creamy and bitter. Commendable head. Bonus points for sticking to 0.5 volume despite having nitro.
1.7 Another rating from the old notebook. I never really enjoyed Boddies Gold, it came out in the era of creamflow as a fashionable serving method for bitter, which of course pretty much negated everything that was good about Boddies (pre-recipe changes) in the first place. So it was another weird creamy alcoholic liquid with a nondescript bitter finish, just marginally less watery that the creamflow ordinary bitter.
1.5 Simply one of the worst beer i have ever had. watery and tasteless. The the only thing going right is its appearance as you pour it into the glass
4.0 Surprisingly good, well served at Fiddleheads in Perth, surprisingly creamy head which add to the experience. With great company and great food, it was a perfect lunch while visiting this part of the province.
2.7 This beverage is like the devil took a shit in a donkeys ass and came out my mouth and farted in my nose. ) f the uk
4.3 Aroma malt, karamell, vanilje, krem. Smak malt, vanilje, melkesjokolade, karamell. Soft, fyldig, smaksrik, kremet følelse. Boks kjøpt på Systembolaget Storheden Luleå, 50cl 4,6% BF050419
3.5 On tap, on nitro. It was called a "cream ale". Pretty sure it was this. Clear golden pour with a frothy, off white head. Mild malty aroma. Super creamy malty taste. Only slightly bitter. Hint of apple. A nice easy drinking brew.
3.5 Can, 0.5 L. Great amber colour, beige creamy but tough foam, stays on top very long. It stays on the wall of the glass after finishing the last sip. Impressive! Typical british yeast smell, fresh bread, i feel some egg white also. Lack of CO2, this is also very British. Pleasent bitter palate, creamy swallow, long aftertaste. This is a great beer, not so complex and could be more intensive on the palate, but very enjoyable and has everything inside what British ale means.
1.1 Wish I had noticed this was a nitro before purchase. Got it in the CAN as well. Upon opening the CAN the nitro went off and foam went to coming out fast going all over the floor. Will open other 3 over sink. As with most nitro brews, they look nice, but have little aroma and taste odd. This one has a metallic and bland taste that is not good at all. Also as for every nitro brew I have had this one feels flat and then there is that sticky feel on the tongue after drinking it. Just not enjoying this at all.
2.9 Pours clear amber with a one finger, white head. Aroma is caramel and bread. Taste is creamy caramel and light tartness, warming to a hint of citrus and breadiness, finish is earthy and industrial solvent. Started well, but finishes poorly.
2.3 50cl can. Clear golden color with a very creamy white head. Grainy, weak malty aroma. Very smooth, sweet and caramel flavor. naah
4.0 Extremley good taste from the intial sip and continues with a smooth moderate lasting flavor
2.5 Starts creamy and smooth. Ends bitter and rough.
