A beer of spontaneous fermentation, made by the blending of ’Meerts’ beer and old Lambics. The light-brown colour, as well as the sweet-sour character, are due to the addition of candisyrup before bottling.

Sweet toffee aroma sugary. Sour finish. Some interesting aromas. Yummy and refreshing but more then one is too much.
Pours an orange colour with a white head. Aroma is slightly sour. Taste is well sweet, syrupy, touch of sourness, apples, maybe a note of white wine. Drank out of curiosity - years since I’ve tasted Faro - and this was ok.
0.25l lahvové zakoupené v královekradecké pivotéce Pivoňka. Nějak nevím co k tomu napsat... prostě slazené Faro - nic co bych si nějak extra užíval...
Little bit sweet and different in overall... You cannot guess after tasting it - WHAT WAS THAT in style?!

Kolor bursztynowy, piana kremowa, obfita.
W aromacie nuty belgijskie, jest przyprawowo. Ale też kwaskowa nuta, lekko jabłkowa. W smaku owocowe, lekko kwaskowe. Ale bardzo wyraźna nuta słodkawa. Zostawia cierpkawo-słodki posmak. Jest ściągające uczucie po bokach języka.
Sour, wine-like, fruit, grapes, hazy golden to amber, sweet, apples, pear and grapes with very little tartness, fruity, apricot jam, thin to medium body, soft carbonation.

Aroma: a sour aroma.
Look: copper colored, almost no foam. Pretty murky.
Taste: way more sweet than sour which is surprising as there was barely any trace of sweetness in the aroma. Some strange caramel-like sweetness that absolute doesn’t match the little sourness that’s left. Some yucky aftertastes of overripe apples.
Mouthfeel: everything disappears as quickly as it came, except for those overripe apple tones,
Overall: very mediocre, and that’s being polite.
250ml bottle from RusBeerShop in Moscow. Pours dark orange with a small white head. No carbonation. Aroma is baked apples, caramel, barnyard funkiness, bretts. Taste is heavy sweet, syrupy, cooked apples, graininess, plus a sour note. Too strange for me.

0.25 l bottle from Stadin panimobaari, Helsinki. Amber, clear, OK head, bubbly. Taste is mostly caramel sweetness, but this has more body than other faros thanks to Meerts bier.
Je n'avais jamais bu de Faro avant celle-ci. Belle apparence, nez style geuze, bouche sucrée, sirupeuse : caramel et candi. Boisson douce et sucrée intéressante tout de même mais je n'en boirai pas une autre demain.
Aromat z butelki nawet ciekawy: ciut piwnicy, czerwone owoce. Smak słodki w opór, syrop cukrowy, landrynki, bliżej nieokreślone słodkie owoce i trochę przypraw w tle. Ultra słodkie, mulące...
It is sour and fruity like cherry and apple juice. Also have caramel and ginger smell.

25 cl bottle poured in to a Flute. 5 % abv. Cloudy amber golden colour with a creamy off white head. Tart fruity aroma with candid sugar, barnyard and lemons. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Tart fruity finish with candid sugar. Straightforward Faro Lambiek to the sweeter side. Nice.
Light copper appearance. Aroma is cherry, sweet, caramel and orange. Flavour is tart, sweet, grassy, orange, dry and bitter.
Aromat – siana, jabłek, winogron i wina musującego , jakby trochę skwaśniały – raczej nieprzyjemny.
Wygląd – kolor mocnej herbaty lub whiskey, piana obfita, drobna, ale szybko opada do krążka. Klarowne.
Smak – przetrzymując w ustach sprawia wrażenie słodkiego, całkiem przyjemnego, po przełknięciu robi się kwaśne, owocowe głównie jabłka i winogrona. Im dłużej się pije tym bardziej robi się nieprzyjemne, strasznie ciężkie do picia, smakuje jak mieszanka cydru, wina i wody z ogórków kiszonych. Goryczka niska, praktycznie niewyczuwalna.
Barwa rdzawa, ciemny bursztyn. W aromacie trochę lambika, tj. skóry i derki+ nuty drewna i tanin. W smaku bardzo słodkie, niemal jak jakiś radler, nuty belgijskie- brzoskwinie, estry i fenole. Wysycenie niskie, nieco płaskie.

Bursztynowa barwa. W zapachu trochę flandersowe, czyli trochę słodko, trochę dziko z nutami czerwonych owoców. W smaku kwaśność na bardzo niskim poziomie, trochę cukrowa słodyczka i akcenty owocowe. Dość niskie wysycenie. Końcówka lekko sciagajaca, choć pozostaje słodki posmak. Spoko piwo do wypicia, ale oferuje nieporównywalnie mniej niż dobre geuze
Cloudy amber, decent off-white head. Aroma: green apple, fruit acids, caramel, barnyard. Similar taste. Light to medium sour, equally sweet. Pleasant.
Bouteille en 25 cl. C'est original une faro, ça change. Plutôt sucré mais ça va bien avec le lambic. Sympa!

Miedziane, klarowne, poana drobna, wysoka, nieco sycząc powoli redukuje do resztkowej tafli. W aromacie owoce i nuty kwaśne i winne. W smaku nieco kwaskowe na początku zaraz potem cukrowo słodkie, czyli ogólnie wypada nieco miodowo. W tle nieco przyprawowe a na finiszu cierpkawe, wiec ogólnie, coś się dzieje. Nasycenie średnie plus do wysokiego.
Kirkkaan kuparisen ruskea lasissa. Tuoksussa on hedelmäisyyttä, makeutta ja tiettyä puumaisuutta. Mausta löytyy sokerista makeutta ja hedelmää. Kuin pommacia joisi.

Smell of grass, like during a walk in the wood. Taste of sweet oranges and berries. Low carbonation but still a decent body. Bitter aftertaste.
Aroma: zest, peach, wood, some barnyard.
Appearance: hazy dark amber color with a one-finger beige head.
Taste: zest, peach, barnyard, wood, cloying high sweetness, medium-low bitterness, low sourness.
Palate: medium, oily texture, medium carbonation, low alcohol sensation, mild astringency, bitter-sweet finish.
Overall: Flavor profile is too weak, while the sweetness is overwhelming. Cloying.
