3.7 Bottle, brought back from Iceland by Lakshmi! Poured a bright rich golden colour with a white foam. Interesting one, sweetish malty base, some yeasty esters and a nice herbal note from the local ingredients. Dried out nicely in the finish, I thought this was a good one.
3.0 22/IX/18 - sample @ Borefts Bierfestival Day 2, BB: n/a - (2018-1445) Thanks to the international Ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers! Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, little fruity, grains, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit sourish, fruity, malty, lots of grains. Aftertaste: hay, cow fodder, malty, grains.

3.5 On tap at Borefts Beer Festival. De Molen Brewery, Bodegraven, Netherlands, Friday 21st September 2018. A sunshine and heavy showers sort of day. Pours copper in colour. Its a perky little number, aroma subtle though (not getting much) There is a little apple in the mouth and some late yeast comes through. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
3.7 Bottle at Fiskfelagid Fish Company. Pours coppery gold with a white head. Sort of spruce aroma. Medium body Light malt - mild spruce -bit of earth for aroma. Dry. Moderately bitter. Very tasty and refreshing.

Appearance: pours clear amber with good creamy off-white head and lacing. aroma/taste: grain, citrus, apricot, light tropical fruit, light spices, herbal and floral notes. palette: strong hoppy and yeasty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, medium sweetness, balanced by a medium bitterness, average to long duration and a watery texture. Overall: very nice slightly herbal saison
3.5 Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival, Day 2. Clear orange golden color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, slightly herbal, a tad sweet and perhaps a light yellow fruitpeel note. Decent body and carbonation.
3.1 Borefts 2018. Day 2. Sampled draft. Thank you for sharing! Amber orange. Nose is sweet grainy stone fruit, faint sweet malty, sweaty. Higher carbonation. Milky grainy faint butter, grainy, malty, overripe stone fruit, almost hint butter, dull grain, grainy, toilet cleaner bitter,… Grainy bitter, low butter, medicinal orange peel,…
2.8 Tap. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is dough, earthy, herbal. Taste is buttery, herbal. Silky mouthfeel with foamy carbonation. Not great.
3.4 Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2018. A clear dark golden beer with a small off-white ring. Aroma of strong riped fruits, caramel, yeast. Taste of yeasty strong fruits, Wheat, spices.

3.6 33 cl bottled at Rub 23 restaurant in Akureyi, Iceland. The pour is a haze orange golden with a smallish off white head. The aroma is thyme, pepper, general herbal and Saison yeast. The taste is a nice fresh blend of the floral thyme, pepper spice and the herbal Saison yeast. The palate is medium to heavier bodied with soft natural carbonation and a clean yeast finish. Nice.
3.7 Bottle at the Lava restaurant at the Blue Lagoon. Appearance - golden to golden amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - apple, candied pineapple and nutmeg. Taste - more spice, possibly pepper this time and more candied fruit. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy middle section. Long dry tangy finish. Overall - good example of the style.
3.3 From Nate: pours orange/gold with a white head. Floral, yeasty farmhouse aromas... seems legit. Taste is dry, yeasty. Pretty standard but hits all the checkmarks. No complaints.
3.1 from Qbeer - light hazy dark blond beer with a beige foam left; cheesy, spicy and fruity aroma; sweet and sticky; full-bodied; heavy spicy and bretty finish, ripe fruits (banana dominates) - quite cloying
3.5 330ml bottle. Pours a fairly clear medium amber, with a small off-white head. Herbal aromas dominate, with light spice hops and some very light funk. Very mild spice hops up front. Savouriness from the heather and earthy herbal flavours from the arctic thyme provide a lot of interest in the mid-palate. Some very light funk to finish. Interesting, and pretty damn enjoyable.
3.2 little head to speak of. same caramel color as the last beer. ginger and spices in the nose. similar taste on the front end, then a sort of cloying sweetness. a bit medicinal. Hides the alcohol pretty well, but altogether it's a bit thin.

3.7 Une saison ronde et épicée à la robe ambrée, mousse abondante, nez sur les épices, les céréales et les fruits mûrs. Bouche qui allie notes acidulées et épicées, bulle fine, finale sur les céréales. Saison d'hiver (ou du nord....)

3.4 Bottle at the JimGreen tasting, Den Haag, December 2017. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is dry malt, spicy dry hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry spicy yeasty hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
3.5 Shared at the Jimgreenuk tasting. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a white head. Light funk, very herbal, citrusy, white pepper.
3.6 7 3 8 3 15 Bottle shared at the pre-Christmas tasting with JimGreenuk. Very hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of peppery saison yeast, floral notes and light citrus. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
3.4 Bottle at Jim’s back tasting! Hazy golden with off white head. Spicy yeast, light yoghurt, dry grains, cloves, rye, quite herbal. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied.
3.8 Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light rustic malt with herbs and spiced notes is quite enticing. Taste is a nice mix of rustic malt notes with some herbs and spiced notes and a light dry finish. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Well brewed saison with right amount of flavours and attenuation.
