1.8Okay boring white head and boring gold colour. No aroma to speak of. Taste is a whole lot of nothing with a bit of a bready dry finish. It’s probably good for getting drunk, unintrusive as it is, but as for a sipping beer - nah.
2.8500ml can sample purchased at the LCBO. Pours a light yellow gold colour, some white head and lace. Aroma is of grain and a little yeast. Tastes of grain and a little hop. Not bad, but not great.
1.9reminds of Labatt Blue. really tastes like its been watered down. its smooth and easy drinking but these are qualities that are easy to come by.
1.8There is not a lot to really say about the flavor. It’s much like a lot of the other pale lager’s. You get the grains and grass. Some yeast thrown into the mix. This is bottled in a green bottle. So I am getting a light skunk.
Aroma i get a sweet malt. Little grain and yeast
Pours a pale yellow color with a small white head. It has a ton of carbonation
It finishes with a small dose of hops. But very dry for a beer but pretty clean. To be honest this reminds me for of a champagne more then it does a beer. But not bad definitely worth a shot.
3.4Great clean taste, very smooth. Highly recommend. This beer is wonderful and soooo easy to drink.
2.8Cannette 500 ml. 5.5 %. Couleur jaune or, mousse blanche. Nez de céréale assez fort. Très mince en bouche, goûte le malt et un peu le houblon. Correct
2.3500mL Can from the LCBO. 5.5%. Clear golden pour with a weak white head that fizzles away quickly. Medium carbonation. Aroma is mild sweet malts, fairly potent hoppy whiff. Mouthfeel is bubbly, light. Taste is crisp, clean, standard Euro lager. Nothing really distinguishable.
1.8Pours pale yellow not much head. Light citrus aroma with a slight note of candy. Flavour is very light and crisp. Not bad, not great. Typical Euro lager. I wish it came in standard size bottles.
1.5Bottled@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, malts, earth and some mild notes of cardboard. Flavour is quite much the same. A lame and very bulk thing with not too much exciting notes in any way.
1.3Intertesante porque a pesar de que se abri en avion conservo gas y mas de mitad. Al probarla sabor fuerte y redondo
1.4500ml can
5.5% ABV
I tried this beer on September 8, 2009 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer pours a translucent dark gold colour with a thin white bubbly head and a large amnount of effervescence. The aroma is grainy malt, and some hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is malty, metallic, slightly sweet and a hoppish finish.
2.4can. Poured clear pale yellow with an initial dense white head that eventually thinned out. Pungent hoppy-grain aroma. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Flavour is grainy/herbal. Metallic, slightly bitter finish. A non-offensive beer.
2.1Incredibly pale light clear yellowy gold, creamy white head that doesn’t stick. Lightly hoppy aroma with slick-sweet malts, maybe a prickle of sharp chemical smell. Taste is round and sweet with notes of apple, generic honey and lemon. Pluses high drinkability an non-offensive, minuses it’s kind of fake and has a slightly parching chemical feel, and I fear a Boris preservative-induced hang-over would be most wretched.
3.0Boris (!) beer....reminds me of Boris the Spider and Boris the spy from the beloved Rocky and Bullwinkle show. From a silly little bottle, this poured a fomay white head of perhaps one finger’s depth. Where the hell did it go? Anywho, the colour was a rich, urine-like medium gold, accompanied by a delicate floral hopped nose. Both the initial and after tastes were somewhat sweet, and the mouthfeel was average. Not a dreadful beer, but beer is not what the French do best.
1.1pours a yellowy head. smelled like apple juice. tastes soft - hints of watery apple juice. no aftertaste.
1.1500ml can from the LCBO
The french should stick to wine
Not good
A more detailed description will follow on a second tasting
I have misplaced my comments for this beer
2.1Pours a clear straw yellow colour with a thick fluffy head that actually lasts for a little while. Nose is faint, but there is some grassy hops present there. Favour is a little bit skunky, and kind of tastes like flour, kind of chalky. I guess it’s fairly dry. The hops that were present in the nose don’t come through so much in the taste, just a bit of bitterness. Aftertaste pretty much doesn’t exist. Carbonation is a bit low for a pils or a pale lager or whatever it’s supposed to be.
2.0This one is rated a little lower than I would have expected. It’s nothing great, but it was a fairly clean tasting lager. Went down smooth. 1664 is a lot better though.
2.2500ml can sampled from a friend. This err... wasn’t good. It wasn’t horrible either. There isn’t really much to say about it. Take your average lager and shift the flavour around a bit. No hops present on the tongue, not sweet either. Just plain and boring. But not disgusting either. Take it as you will.
1.0skunk skunk and more skunk! when will they learn, no green bottles!! You can tell there is some flavour in there, some mild, hops, and maybe soem decent malt, but whoa! skunk!
2.0Bottle. Crisp, fresh aroma with hints of citrus. Golden in colour with a thin to non existent head. Fresh flavour, a little fruity but thin and weak. Not for me. Typical French beer.
0.9Well, there’s definitely some actual hops in there, and it’s slightly deeper in colour than a lot of other low-end lagers, but still, it had sort of a dirty dish-rag flavour to it. Weird floaties are quite evident as well. Made me slightly sick, but mostly from the carbonation. I guess it’s just one of lousiest pilsners available, so don’t expect much.
1.4Watery, yellow beer. The French can do much better.
I picked it up because of the intriguing bottle design. Not worth it otherwise.
2.1Yellow in colour, no head whatsoever. Smells wheaty with nothing too complex. Tastes like apple juice. Not much of a beer at all.
2.9500ml can, 5.5% a/v
Gold pour with a generous white head. Aroma consists of corn, malt, and fruit. The taste is fresh and citrusy, with green apple taste. Very nice beer, much b etter then anticipated. Nice green apple and hop finish.
2.9A touch of orange in the appearence, with a bright, citrus and apple nose. Fresh but bitter on entrance - increasing as it fills the mouth. If not for the cream, hint of vanilla and the crispness, the bitterness would spoil. The bitterness does fade somewhat on the finish as well.
1.2Bottled, 330ml. Pale yellow gold with white head. Tinny, sweet, sticky lager, thin, bland and pretty poor all round, avoid.

clear gold, headless, sweet corn aroma, lots of nice bitter hop flavor trying to balance the sweet core malt but the sweetness is so coying that it falls short,

0.5Tasted metallic. Bitter, disgusting aftertaste. Did not enjoy this at all. Something went wrong in the production of this, hops must’ve gone bad over and over and over again.
1.8[490-20070809] 500mL. Mostly straw and grains aroma, lightly toasted, slightly mouldy. Clear, gold orange body with a long-lasting foamy white head. Lightly toasted hay flavour has a subtle and not too appealing light fruit background. Light-medium body is noticeably watery. Not impressive.
