Our session IPA is copper in color with just enough malt sweetness and body to provide balance to a beer with bold hop flavor and aroma achieved by big charges of Mosaic hops in the brew house. This beer was dry hopped with a blend of Cascade, Amarillo, Centennial, and Citra.

2.7Can out of Cousin Matt’s Californian Christmas selection box. Veiled orange with a narrow white lid frilling with lace. Aroma of peach air freshener infused chip shop batter. Too much soggy malt sweetness submerging peachy coniferous hop. Saline touches. Soapy Lockets. Not my thing.
3.3Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and light pine flavor. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and caramel linger with light pine.
3.4Can shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Hazy golden with a big off-white head. Pleasant fruity hops aroma, tropical and citric. Rather dry flavor with fruity hops, and citric bitterness. Rather light-bodied. Nice and refreshing.
3.5Can. Hazy amber with a white head. light aroma of citrus, then a little bit bubblegum and mostly pine. Soft hoppy bitterness of pine, medium body, hoppy finish with a little bit of soap. very fizzy and easy to drink.
3.3Pours hazy golden orange with an off white head. Aroma is citrus with light malt. Taste is mild bitters, lots of hoppy goodness. Light bodied, low alcohol and to easy to drink.
2.9Can at home. While cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Pale yellow pour, average head with sopme spotty lacing. The aroma is Mosaic hops, citrus, tropical fruits like mango and pineapple. Light bodied, indistinct fruit, pilsner like grassiness. Tastes lagered and simple, there are much more expressive SIPA’s out there.
3.3Rated on 6-30-2015 (Bottle and labeled best by 08/27/15) This beer’s appearance is a small white head with a short retention, hazy pale yellow body, fast rising carbonation observed, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, tropical fruits and malty. The flavor of this IPA is moderately bitter, citrus and pine hops, spicy, tropical fruits, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. A very quaffable and easy drinking IPA.
3.4(bottle) slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of kiwi and herbal hops, with lots of prickly pear, some pale malts, vanilla and yeast. flavour is mostly cactus juice and pale malts, with some more kiwi, a hint of moist wood and yeast. medium-bodied with average carbonation.
3.4Grapefruit rind, floral bouquet, and dish soap aromas. Taste is big Valencia orange juice, lemon-lime, and bubblegum malts.
3.8Dig this one. Session IPAs are all about showcasign the hop. This does that, and the hop choices are solid. Fruity and bright. light on the palate.
3.4Pours a clear classic golden color with an ample, snow white head. Clean citrus and pineapple nose. Wet mouthfeel with some light scrubbiness. Flavor follows the nose pretty faithfully. Some bitterness and a bit of a stale quality at the finish.
2.9Draft at Bronx Ale House. Slightly funky with muted hop action. Some yeast, orange peel, and bread in the flavor. The aroma is pleasant, but overall this didn’t win me over.
3.4A mild IPA with lower alcohol and not a strong bite. It does feel like a session IPA. Light aroma of pine, citrus, lemon, hops. Body is sweet.
3.312 oz. can. Pours a hazy orange with a frothy white head that settles to a film and collar. Aroma has soft citrus sweet spruce and light caramel malt. Taste is similar with a nice bitterness that not over the top. Palate is clean crisp with good carbonation.
3.1Bottle to pint glass . Pours golden reddish, clear, smallish white head. You would think this type of beer should be served quite cold, but the aroma is weak and improves significantly as it warms. Then there is some honey and dough and spruce. Taste is very light toasty and hops. Pretty thin mouthfeel. OK for being a session.
3.1Can from Julio’s Light copper with dense head and lace. Citrus aroma with a little spice and some dishwater or something. (Glass is clean and lace is perfect.) Mild peachy melony sweetness with mild toasted nuts and herb and citrus bitterness. Fairly dry light slightly watery and lively carbo. Pretty good but not up with the best session IPAs (like Green Flash Citra Session, Easy Jack, or Pinner, for example).
3.2Twelve ounce can from Boulevard summer variety 12 pack purchased at Jeff’s Marathon, tasted on August 7, 2015. Cloudy orange/yellow hue, strong bittersweet nose with lots of grapefruit, taste like the aroma with some resin as well. Pretty easy to drink but some distracting astringency lowers the score significantly.
3.512 ounce can poured into a pint glass. The beer is a clear copper color with a white head of foam. The aroma is floral, candy, a little grassy. Taste is moderately bitter. Some sweetness in the taste. Medium body and medium carbonation.
3.5355ml can. Pours orange with a foamy head. Aroma of fruits, hops, grass and floral notes. Taste is sweetish, citrusy and grassy with some floral notes. Finish is sweetish and grainy. Okay.
3.235.5 cl can @ hotel room, San Marcos. BBE 01.09.2015. Aroma has pineapple juice and minerals. Flavour has minerals, sone fruits and pineapples. Rather watery and simple. Also too dry.
3.3355 ml can. Enjoyed at San Marcos, CA. Pours a golden colour with a foamy head. Aroma of citrus, graininess and a bit of biscuit. Flavour of biscuit malts, citrus, some floral notes and harsh herbal notes. Light bodied. Quite malty.
3.2355 ml can @ hotel room, San Marcos.
Pours clear golden color with a large head. Mandarin on the nose, mild herbal tones, grassy hops and yeast. Messy fruit flavor, some hay, herbal notes and pale malts. There’s no refreshing effect at all.

3.712 ounce bottle. Nice citrus malt. Malt is not too heavy. Not a big hop forward session IPA, but a tasty easy to drink one.
4.0Can @ home. Clear golden orange pour with a tall, dense, sticky, white head. Smells of fresh orange and grapefruit. Zesty, floral, and bready. Nice hints of pine as well. Flavor and lightly bitter. Plenty of juicy, zesty citrus and bright floral hops. Good malt character and body. Crushable.
3.5Pours two fingers of head on a clear straw body.
The aroma is bread and grains.
The taste has a nice lemon bitterness throughout.
The texture is crisp.
It has great flavor.
2.712 OZ. can into a chalice.

A: Pours very heady hazy orange gold. 2" of beige foam lingers a good while. Actually dogged retention leaving good lace around the glass. Little to no visible carbonation.
S: Light and piney with just a whiff of sweet citrus. Not much else to report.
T: Also piney with slightly less citrus bite. Light flavor includes a slight stiff maltiness. Not complex or honestly even interesting.
M: Light body with a fair amount of carbonation on the tongue. Average.
O: Had high hopes based on others’ but ultimately disappointed. I STILL have not had a BLVD beer that I particularly like. For $10/6, there are many better SIPAs to choose from.
3.312 oz. can. Poured hazy orange with off white head and splotches of lace. Bready, light grass, subtle citrus notes. Little disappointing.
3.6Can from Bine & Vine. Pours bright gold with a slight white head. Aroma has lots of interesting fruits. Not quite med body. Flavor is a bit papery after the hop melts away. Hop is fairly complex for me, but it isn’t really very intense. A nice little session ale, very flavorful given the ABV, but it is rather moderate by today’s flavor standards. I’d take it to the lake!
3.0For me it drinks more like a blonde ale with a touch of hops. Not a ton of flavor but light and refreshing.
3.0fragrant flowery hop fruity with some pith obvious in the finish. seemingly sweet and bitter and in my mind not very balanced with cereal. finish is tangy and dry. like to see this at 5.0% maybe even 6.
