Lively and refreshing, with a natural citrus flavor and distinctive hazy appearance, this easy-drinking ale is our most popular offering and, for more than 20 years, the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest.

2.9Ok nothing spectacular, part of a sampler pack
Of course since I drank from the bottle I cant rate appearance
3.0Not completely horrible for a wheat beer. I'm normally not a fan of them but this one had a not wheaty flavor if that makes sense.
4.0Light banana and hefeweizen taste. Pale yellow, Refreshing
3.0Easy drinking what beer. Lower alcohol with more flavor and calories than a simple light lager.
Best with food and yes it quenched a thirst
4.0I’m a little biased because I’m from KC but this is a great basic beer. It’s refreshing without being watery like many other lighter beers.
3.5Grainy bready wheat aroma, earthy hop.
Pours a cloudy golden color with small white frothy head.
Wheat bread grain flavor with subtle honey like sweetness and light earthiness.
Medium light bodied with medium co2, bready finish with a light earthy bitterness.
One of the better American wheat beers I've had. Simple yet interesting enough to make me want more.
3.2From a can into pint glass. Clear yellow orange color, Bread and wheat nose, hint of citrus, high stinging carbonation. Slightly sweet. A bit of off skunkyness in the finish.
3.512floz bottle (BBD: 07.14.2017) I’ve had this plenty of times and is in stores for about $8 a six-pack (This one came as part of a mix twelve pack for $14). Boulevards long standing flag ship beer. For those in the Midwest U.S. this introduced many to craft beers about 12-25 years ago (then the market became increasingly crowded and market targeting changed). Aroma - lemon and banana peel. Appearance - Yellow with haze and a one-finger of white head. Taste - grassy. Palate - Wet, medium bodied, and moderate fizz. Overall - Alright.
3.3Bottle from Rio Hill Wine.
Pours hazy golden, no head. Aroma of wheat, light floral notes. Flavor is lemon, wheat, coriander, light honey finish. Solid.
3.212 oz bottle. Pours cloudy light brown yellow. Nose is citrus and wheat. Taste is wheat and lemon. Light and easy to drink. Would be great on a hot day.
3.0Bottled@The Hobbit Tasting. Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with quite rich carbonation. Aroma is wheat, citrus, some slight toffee and mild herbal notes. Flavour is wheat, citrus, some toffee and mild grassy bitterness to it.
3.4Bottle from J’s. Pours a hazy, glowing orange gold with a finger of foam that lingers a bit, then dissipates. Wheat-forward, grainy nose. Dry and well-attenuated on the palate. Easy drinking with some very faint grassiness in the background. Simple, but well-executed.
3.4On tap to tulip. Pours clouded orange/gold, dissipating white head. Aroma of orange, wheat, honey, coriander. Taste of same. Light mouthfeel, mod-low carb. Highly quaffable. Finish is orange spice, but very very mellow. No traditional wit bitter finish.
2.6Unclear medium yellow with quickly dissipating white head. Wheat. Light citrus. Quite plain. Not a bad beer, just unremarkable in pretty much every way. It still does the job and isn?t off putting. Down the hatch.
2.5Bottle. Pours a hazy golden yellow beer with a small white head on top. Aroma of slight banana, citrus and wheat, nothing special. Flavor is rather bland, bittersweet citrus and grassy. Softly carbonated, bittersweet finish. Not much special going on here.
3.1Translucent yellow haze, banana nose ala hefeweizen, mild taste with esthers. Ok.
3.1cloudy, pale gold color; light wheat malt aroma; a light wheat beer with mild floral hop notesl not much going on here
3.2I had this with Patty in Sioux City Irish pub. This bee being the bottom half of ’Cream of Wheat’ with Guinness. It played it’s part well. Enjoyable.
3.2Pours a cloudy orange color. About half finger white head. Little retention, very light lacing. There’s some white floaties in there.
Aroma is banana, some wheatiness. A touch of lemon and maybe honey. Smells okay, it’s just very light.
Taste is a little banana and yeast. It’s slightly lemon. There’s a very slight touch of sour at the end. There’s not a lot of flavor.
Mouthfeel is light bodied. Easy to drink. Good lawnmower beer. There’s some slight graininess to the finish.
Overall, it’s okay. I’m not super impressed by it. It’s decent, one that I wouldn’t mind having again, but not enough to actually buy it. I’d probably suggest it to someone looking to try a wheat beer for the first time.
3.4Originally rated on 9/12/08. Boulevard put out a decent wheat here, this is the third out of my sampler 12 pack. It pours a nice hazy golden yellow body, plenty of carbonation, without much lace. Aroma of wheat and hints of friuts. Smooth yet the carbination gives it a slight bite. Better than i thought it would be.
2.5Can of this little bit cloudy light golden beer. Taste a little bit of citrus and smooth on palate overall average beer that is very drinkable. Nice can for the collection!
3.3Bottle at Liquid Sunshine. Cloudy gold, white head. Sour wheat, soft sweet. Nice, clean. Not Euro sweet. Ok.
3.2Bottle. Had this a few times and at first I though how boring, why couldn’t I get the 80 acre with this variety pack, but after a couple I say it’s a good drink. Balanced, simple, sessionable and even some citrus. Ok, I say, ok.
3.2Bottle at Liquid On tap Seattle-USA. Bottle. Pours cloudy orange, white head. Nose: esters and bread crust. Mouth: frizzy, wheat, solid.
3.3At Surprise stadium Spring training. Pours murky golden with no head. Mild Citrus biscuit taste

4.3B. Pours a cloudy yellow with white head. Citrus flavors and aromas. Refreshing
4.5Such a good hefeweizen. This is probably the most crisp hefeweizen I can remember drinking. It feels full upon sipping it, not hollow like so many other hefes that seem to be missing something substantial. It’s very clear, too, and just tastes like something you’d want to keep drinking.
3.0Bottle pour into pint glass from Whole Foods. Aroma is sour yeast, very Kolsch-like. Appearance is hazy greenish yellow with nice sparkle, finger-width frothy white head with good retention but minimal lacing. Taste is mainly tart with mild citrus sweet ending. Palate is medium bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation with late lively zing to tongue and tart finish as above. Overall, the sour side of wheat beers, which is not my favorite.
3.2Robe jaune/orangé et oapque. Une jolie mousse se forme mais se dissipe assez vites Arômes et goût de céréales marqués, fruits jaunes, pain, biscuit Final sur le pain. Moyennement longue en bouche. Une blanche correcte
3.3Pours a cloudy yellow from the tap with a thick white head. Aroma is fairly generic, mostly bread. Taste is light citrus with a heavy bread flavor on the backend. Not bad.
