2.7 Clear amber beer with small white head. Aroma is sweet grains, caramel. Taste is sweet caramel, roasted bread, metallic iron notes in mouth. Overall not bad but nothing to cheer either.

3.2 Bier gedronken @Brand Brouwerij met LiekevdV. Het heeft een oranjegele kleur met een witte schuimkraag. De geur is moutig. De smaak is moutig met een hint van caramel.

3.0 Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear light amber with small off white head. Caramel, bready, orange peel, light cloves and spices, soft cardboard, light nuts. It has some soft toasted nites while also being somewhat sugary. Herbal hop bitterness. Medium bodied with oily feel. Decent.

2.7 Bottle at Maakun's. Clear dark golden qith thin white head. Sweet malts, caramel, old leaves. Slightly bock-ish imperial lager. Sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

3.0 Reviewing from memory purely for reference. No tasting notes, but bottle was purchased at Beer Boutique in Rotterdam.

2.6 Bottle at Taste From The Lowlands. Pours a clear amber with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet grains and cookie with some straw and hay backing. Flavor is straw forward with a decent amount of sweet grains and a hint of cookie.

3.5 25cl on tap @ Grand Café Ibis Schiphol. Robe caramel avec belle mousse blanche. Attaque sur le caramel et le sucre de canne et final sur le malt.

2.9 33cl bottle @Bar de Boei, Edam. 11-08-2017. BBD: Nov 2017. Pours little hazy amber with nice off white head. Moderate head retention, little lacing. Sugary, caramel, malty nose, adjunct like, some DMS. Medium body, average carbonation, slick texture. Taste is malty, sweet, alcohol noitced. Little herbal, Average.

2.8 Aus der Flasche im Amstelhoek getrunken. Klares Goldbraun im Glas mit weißer Schaumdecke. Subtile Malznoten decken alles zu.

3.3 Tap @ Fellini, Alkmaar VII 2017. Mooie schuimer. Mooie heldere rode kleur. Zoete smaak van Caramel. Met een bittertje.

3.6 Ken je klassiekers ! Hier is het allemaal nee begonnen. Nu misschien niet meer zo speciaal maar dit blijft een klasse bier.

3.1 Amberkleurig , beige schuimkraag, vrij helder, weinig koolzuur. Aroma: Iets metaal, granig en Moutig, iets gebrand, zoetig, karamel, donker brood, iets spicy rogge. Smaak: Veel geroosterde mout, karamelzoet, kruidig. Helaas ook in de smaak wat metalig. Merk je later minder van maar bij de eerste slokken is dat onprettig. Onder medium body, mondgevoel is een beetje siroopachtig, zacht koolzuur. Afdronk is moutig, kruidig, bitterzoet en plakkerig.

3.2 Fles.Vroeger, ja vroeger was Imperator het seizoensbier van Brand. Dat maakte het bijzonder, maar nu is het een van de vele altijd beschikbare bieren. Goed en vol van smaak, maar niet meer zo bijzonder tussen alles wat er is.

3.6 On tap at De Imperator in Gulpen. Clear amber body with a huge head. Aroma of caramel, toast, pears and floral hops. Taste of caramel, toast, pears, nutmeg and floral hops.

3.5 On tap at Imperator in Gulpen, Holland. Copper with huge head. Slick sticky some apples, pears, toast, very smooth. Finish has some mineral water with iron in the finish. Another Michael Jackson bier checked!!

3.2 On tap at Proeflokaal De Boom, Alkmaar - Clear orange golden body, thick head. Nose is caramel, the bit of bready yeast. Taste is pleasant enough, nothing spectacular.

3.4 Bottle at home, amber beer, medium head. Aroma is caramel and malt. Taste is the same, sweet with some bitterness, ok beer.

3.2 On tap at Stadsbrouwhuis Leiden. Clear red orange colour lasting beige head. Sweetish. Toffee. Bocky flavour. It’s like the 3 Brand beers ive had this evening all clean competent and lacking any faults and even with a little character. Fine.

3.2 Bottle at the Nieuwe Morsch, Leiden. Poured a clear medium amber with thin broken white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a fruity metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

2.7 Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, caramel, bready, notes of ripe apples, ripe fruits, bit toasted malt. Flavour is sweet, a tad cloying, and light bitter. Body is medium. A bit too sweet for my taste.

3.2 Amber/orange color with a diminished off-white heat head. Earthy sweet grain and some floral hops aromas. Hints of caramel, toffee and marzipan. A bit too simple and sweet for my …ator. Sweet malt and some woody sap flavors in the front. Some sweetness builds in the middle with some brown sugar and dark candi. Not the complex malt and melanoidins I am looking for in my DB. Still a decent strong sweet heavy lager. 6/10

2.5 Gisteren gedronken (5-6-2016). Redelijk van geur en smaak, mout en caramel, verder weinig bijzonders kunnen aantreffen wat dit bier boven de middelmaat kan verheffen.

2.8 Amber coloured beer with cream-colored head. Light aroma. Taste is bready, light sweet and roasted malt.

1.0 amber kleurig maar geen bier , slap aftreksel van wat ooit broodpap was , mout verdunt tot er waterige thee van mout over bleef. bij het uitblijven van smaak is een schande om te verkopen

2.7 Aroma: malts, brown sugar, caramel. Appearance: light/medium brown colour, with small short lasting head. Taste: light to medium sweet, medium to heavy biterness, light sour. Palate: soft carbonation, light to medium body, slick to a little bit sticky texture. Overall: light aromas and strong taste, mainly dominate bitter, dry finish.

3.9 Drinking from a 33cl bottle. In the aroma alcohol, flowers, caramel, malt. The clear copper beer has a medium off-white head. In the taste singer spices and caramel. Medium carbonated.
