Braník Světlý

Braník Světlý

Braník is a typical Czech beer with a very refreshing taste, a natural "bite" and pure hopsy aroma. Braník Brewery was founded by a group of brewmasters from small historical breweries in 1899 under the name "Corporate Brewery of Prague Brewmasters".

2.6 Can. Clear dark gold with a decent white head. Aroma and taste of grains, malts, cardboard and some grass. Pretty harsh and bitter. Medium carbonation. Still OK though cause I got for free. Yes, I'm cheap like that.
Posmak alkoholowy.
3.2 Good flavor in first note, but after is soso
1.1 # 387; 8/2016. Hrozný zástupce piv z Čech. Nízká plnost, výrazně mladinové, výrazně skunkovité.
2.1 Słodowe, dość nijakie. Brakuje typowego sznytu czeskich svetlych, bardziej przypomina polskie lagery.
2.5 Clear golden color with off-white head. Aroma has caramel, hay. Taste is malty sweet. Flavors of caramel, malt and hay.
2.3 500ml can. Very untasteful, only some malty sweetness you can feel. Nothing special but cheap.
5.0 There I was - Prague, off my jaw on a bit of that Czech dizz. Picked up a 2L bottle of the delectible branik from the local off licence (potroviny). A good choice. Went down like water and had me up like builders digging outside my gaff at 6 in the morning haha. Loved it so much I brought back a bottle to lovely Essex with me. If you sesh hard, sesh with branik. Mashallah brother. One love selecta.
1.9 Pouring in pale yellow with a small head. No real nose beside a bit if hops. Tastes a bit grassy with some hops but basically more or less tasteless.
2.1 The lower class of Czech beers. Very poor taste and appearance, isn't as enjoyable as other lagers but good price-quality.
1.8 Uzupełnienie ocen piwnych bez opisu z uwagi na przeniesienie z papierowych zapisków.
2.4 Can at the Vltava in Prague. Aroma is malty, barnyard, pear. Slightly sweet with low tartness. Pales in comparison to other Czech lagers.
3.8 From bottle at OSB band bus in Czech Republic 11.04.19. Clear, shining golden. Persistent white head. Fine aroma and taste of Czech hops, succade, meadows and pilsner malt. Good!
2.8 500 ml bottle poured into a Lager glass. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. Grainy and buttery. Has a bit of a grassy, doughy taste. Lighter body and medium carbonation.
2.6 0.5 l bottle. Pours clear golden with minimal head. A: bit hoppy bit malty, T:thin body, classic saturation, Bitter, refreshing, quite drinkable
1.5 Könnyed cseh lager a mindennapokra.
1.6 Bottle. Another beauty, smells like awful macro lager from PET bottle. Crystal clear pale yellow color with no head. Kind of like piss when you drink too much water. Taste is again macro lager from PET, Croatian Lowenbrau to be precise. Watery, lively carbonation as it wasn't already bad enough. Everything about this beer is a disaster.
2.8 Butelka.
2.7 500 ml can. A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild grassy hops, straw, pale malt. Taste of soft grainy malt, pale malt, straw, low bitterness.
3.4 Can shared by dad. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, moderately bitter. Not much more to it but a decent lager.
2.4 18.09.2018 -- 0.5l green bottle from albert in budweis, bb 26.01.2019. pours a clear golden with a dense head. aroma of hay. flavour of nuts/almonds, hay, water. light body. nothing off, but too watery. no bitterness.
3.1 Softly bitter with a minimum tail, this beer with lesser carbonation really hits the spot when chilled properly.
4.9 I could recommend this beer to anyone who even remotly likes beer. It tastes exactly like Heineken, but it is cheaper and a lot better. The wheat blend is so smooth and it leaves an excellent creamy aftertaste.
2.9 Malty aroma, grainy notes, light hay notes. Tastes the same as aroma, light to medium bitter. Light to medium body, malty light bitter finish. Ok.
2.2 Sampled from 0.5 l can from local 'Tesco', best before February 2019. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of grains and some straw. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, gently grassy-spicy and minimally skunky taste of grains, some straw and a touch of vegetables, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a bit grassy-spicy and a little metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Just okay, not a pleasure at all.
