3.4Bottle 1221. Bottled 06/12/11, opened and consumed 15/5/15. Unclear brown pour, almost nonexistent carbonation, very strong aroma of malt and molasses. Strong malt taste with slight notes of caramel. Not something I would make a habit of drinking, especially considering the price. People looking for a very strong, flat, dark beer may enjoy it.
3.8Pours unclear amber. Totally flat looking, no head, no bubbles. Smell is intense, and reminds a lot of a barleywine. Very intense grains, some sweet aspects and just that spot of boozyness that is intense, but not alcoholic....
Taste is intense malts, has some chocolate tones, Mildly bitter, and a tad sweet. Very sticky MF, very damn close to 0 ( as with most of the AB’s ) . Interesting taste profile, but I still think its a weird Idea. Enjoyable beer though, if only it wasnt priced this damn high ( and if it had a decent carbo level )
3.2Flaske 330ml - 6446/7902. Spandert av Rune. Delt med ham på Nerstranda 11 Mar 15. Amber. Litt uklar. Lavt skum. Søt plommearoma. Svakt sherrypreg. Smaken plommer. God - men overraskende tynn & uvariert. Blir for søt.
3.3375ml bottle topped by a cork and a wire cradle, no. 6446 (of 7902). Picked up at the Brewdog bar in Glasgow a few years ago. Orange-reddish coloured body with a tiny layer at the top. Dried fruity aroma alongside moments of spiced black malts. Chocolate malts, plums and a backdrop of basement to the flavour character. Rather sweet aftertaste. Tingling alcohol on the tongue. Medium to full bodied. Nice, not outstanding though (shared with Finn, Tromsø 11.03.2015).
4.0Bottled on 6.12.2011, bottle #1173/7902. Colour is reddish brown with no absolutely no head. Well the three years have made their worst. Aroma has roasted malts, raisin, ’date cake’, dried fruits and plums. Taste has date cake, sweet milk chocolate and caramel. Extra sweet taste on this one. Body is full and there is no carbonation left in this bottle. Deconstructed Blonde Imperial Stout. Wow. Well the experiment is quite good, but after 3 years some flavours might have gone away on this one. Still pretty enjoyable beer.
3.6Bottled Brown coloured. Small off white dense head. Aroma: Caramel, alcohol, fruits, some roast. Flaovur. Roast, caramel, chocoalte, alcohol, light molasses, fruits. Medium to full bodied. Ends light roasterd bitter.
2.8Bottle. Hazy brown with no head like a barleywine. Caramel brandy oxidized aroma. The flavor it’s barleywine-like with big malt and booze. Rather oxidized with cider notes. Full body with minimal carb. Not great.
3.4375 ml bottle. No bottle number. Bottled on 12/2011.
Pours hazy dark red color with no head. Sweet toffee and caramel on the nose, some alcohol, malts, dark ripe fruits and molasses. Fruity, plum-y and sweet with caramel, some raisins and lots of alcohol, wet cardboard, faint wooden notes with a subtle vanilla finish. Not the balance I was hoping for. A disappointment.

3.237,5 cl bottle @ lusikka, bottled 06.12.2011
Bottle number missing
Aroma is odd with potatoes, starchy tones, some caramel and toffee. Flavour has potatoes, starch, cardboard, caramel, toffee, alcohol and dried fruits. Also rather strong raisin tones. Not very nice, feels moldy & cardboardy and alcohol comes through too much. One could expect that a beer like this would survive three years but it seems that this was not the case.
3.1375 ml bottle. Pours a murky brown amber colour with a small head. Aroma of toasted bread, some berries, earthiness and mild spiciness. Flavour of sweet malts, spiciness, apricot, dry wooden notes, some licorice and earth. Medium bodied and almost non-existent carbonation. Weird. Not at it’s best anymore.
3.3375ml bottle
Bottled on 06/12/11 - Pours dark brown with a small bubbly head. Aroma of syrupy malts, caramel, toffee and berries. Taste is syrupy, sweetish and malty with some caramel, raisin, berries and toffee. Finish is flat, sweetish and syrupy with some notes of raisin, berries and caramel. Quite strange.
3.7375ml bottle.
Pours a medium tawny-ish sort of colour, with very little head.
Roasted, spicy aroma, chocolate, cocoa, caramel, licorice, coffee.
Semi-sweet, full bodied, mid to high bitterness, low CO2.
Roasted, malty taste, chocolate, coffee beans, coconut, wood (?), vanilla, faint smoke.
Quite enjoyable, but very odd, in an odd sort of way... (2014-09-20)
3.3Bottled in 2011. Poured into a snifter at home. Dark ruby, clear, totally still with no head at all. Not even a bubble. Aroma is sweet old ale, chocolate syrup - smells like chocolate has been added. Body is medium, totally smooth, no carbonation. Taste is sweet honey yet with a strong bitterness, malty barley wine, some more of that chocolate but it’s in the background. Interesting enough, just not my type of thing. It has nice characteristics, but it’s way too sweet for me.
3.1Assaggio @ cantinetta.
Marroncina senza schiuma.
Un po' di cioccolata, caramello e torrefatto, alcol.
Non memorabile

3.8Bottle at home. Rich, sickly toffee, sweet and malty, tastes more like a barley wine now.
3.7Bottle at BrewDog, Edinburgh on 17 May. They had a few in stock, but the fridge was emptied of them by the end of my session. Poured amber and was completely flat, with pretty much no head. Aroma of butterscotch, booze and ripe berries. Sharp hop flavour with notes of toffee and spice. Finish was bitter grass, caramel and lavender. Different...
3.7(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with brief, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, caramel, oak wood, red fruit, honey, hints of tar and smoked chilli. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, caramel, hints of smoke, honey, red berries, orange marmalade, chocolate, toffee and a slightly bitter-sweet finish with a hint of alcohol shining through. Full body, with viscous mouthfeel. Fairly sweet. Quite interesting and a bit hard to define style-wise. Nice one.
3.1Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a cloudy deep amber brown with no head whatsoever. Aroma has strong sweet grains and a syrupy note with toffee and a good amount of booze. Flavor has strong toffee and sweet grains with a syrupyness and a bit of booze. An odd beer for sure.
1.5Light amber with small white head that goes away fast , no carbonation - Strange medicinal aroma along with some alcohol - Strange taste with some sweetness and strong alcohol - Finish is sweet burning alcohol - Strange thing that was not that good
3.1Bottle 375ml at Beer Hunters.
Clear deep amber color, tiny white head. Toffee, light alcohol, barley in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Toffee, barley, some alcohol. A bit weakish palate after 2+ years of aging.
3.4Bottle shared at Gunnar tasting, originally bought in Utobeer. Colour is clear reddish, with a small white head. Nose is complex. Marmalade, Marmite (yeast extract), caramel, orange citrous, earthy, dirty, alcoholic. Taste is earthy, slight damp cellar, sticky sweet orange, yeast extract saltiness, slight oxidisation but it’s not hurting it, caramel. Sweet and strong but a little too much going on.
3.1Dark caramel copper pour not much of a head. Aroma is thick caramel and toffee, some oxidised stale malt. and honey. Sticky palate sweet. This one hasn’t lasted very very.
3.8Taster from a 37.5cl bottle at La Cantinetta, Rimini. It pours a clear deep amber colour with almost no head. Aroma is roasted coffee beans, caramel and some booze. Taste is quite sweet with candy sugar, roasted coffee, roasted malts, dark fruit notes. Quite full bodied with soft carbonation. Good
3.1Bottle from Systembolaget. Chocolate and caramel on the nose. Very sweet taste, lots of caramel and a very strong bitterness. You can really feel the alcohol. Not sure about the whole Blonde IS, it’s close to a barley wine though.
2.6Tastes funny. A little christmasy. Quite good but not nearly a usual beer. Won’t be drinking this again.
3.4Reddish brown pour, off white head. Flavors of charred oak, vanilla, raisins...odd but interesting.
3.5Bottle pours with a murky light brown body that supports a tan head. The aroma offers up some sweet malts, chili pepper notes and more sugary malt sweetness. The taste has sugary malts, brown sugar, candi sugar and then a thin layer of chili pepper meat rolling into more and more boozy heat. This comes across pretty odd as the notes aren’t melding all that well. And this actually doesn’t have chili peppers added? Fun beer to try though.
3.4Bottle shared @ Dak’s Black Friday tasting. Mixture of chestnut and garnet in color with a small eggshell head. Brown sugar, candied citrus, cocoa, alcohol, ash, and roasted malt. Meh.
