First brewed in 2010, Alice Porter was returned as a Jan-Mar special in 2015. Brewed to a slightly different recipe and a lower abv than the original, this entry is only for the new-style labelled 5.2% version. Any remaining bottles of the 6.2% Alice Porter should be entered under that, now retired, beer.

3.2Bottle. Dark brown in color with an off-white head. Mild soft roasted notes with some chocolate sweetness in aroma. Mild roasted.
3.3Bottle. Didn't have much aroma and had a watery palate. Not bad for a light porter but won't have it again.

3.4330ml bottle. Black color with one finger beige head. Coffee, roasted malt, chocolate aroma. Taste is very similar with a bitter and slightly watery finish. Would have liked to taste the 6.2% version.
3.4Tasted yesterday 26.12.’15 @ brewdog Brussels with Pierre + William.
Dark almost black color, with a small beige head.

3.3330 ml. bottle. BBF 19/02/16. Very dark furniture brown, touch black, some mocha bubbles, head doesn’t last. Nose is herbal, touch oxidized, herbal mocha, some light cheesy hops in the back, touch umami, lightly. Taste is soy sauce, umami, light oxidation, herbal, licorice, feels bit faded, touch watery, leaves, light roast, touch umami smoke, faint very light herbal cheese. Light touch watery, some oxidation. The previous version was okay looking at my notes but this is a bit too soy sauce, touch watery, a bit too much furniture, odd smoke, herbal with some oxidation for me. Didn’t care too much for this one.
4.2From 0,33l bottle, BBD: 19.02.16 Pours: hazy dark brown head, Aroma: dark and milk chocolate, roasty espresso notes, coconut, milk, Taste: medium sweet, medium bitter, light to medium sour, dark chocolate, coconut, milk, caramel, roasty, bit mineral, Palate: medium body, soft carbonation, watery to creamy mouthfeel, long roasted aftertaste, Overall: enjoyed, very nice porter, bit watery, mineral, lighter in body than I expected, but still very nice.
3.1Decent, but kinda underpowered. Some roast, some coffee, light vanilla, bit bready. Moderate sweet with light bitterness, bit watery, feels off balance, drinkable tho
3.6Bottle at Beerville store in Belgrade-Serbia. Ciao Vlada. Pours black color, just a bit coffee bean, with a tick cappuccino foamy head. Nose: red under spirit fruit, whiskey, some vanilla. So different. Mouth: it stays quite esile as a porter should be but with a richer character. Some licorice, coffee powder with sugar. The end is aggressively bitter for a Porter. This is a Porter which talks to an Imperial (BA) Stout. Interesting.
3.9Dark colored, small brown head. Dark chocolate and cocoa aroma, sweet dark chocolate taste, medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Still great. //Pivoteka
4.4Pours, black with not much head. nice bitter chocolate, coffee. Nicely drinkable.

Taste/Palate:
Moderately sweet and slightly bitter towards the end.
3.3Pours brown with a home brew aroma and hints of malt. Thin head. Flavour profile is like a bitter burnt malteaser with choc malt and charcoal.
3.1330 ml bottle. Pours dark brown with small tan head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt and chocolate. Light, watery body with low carbonation. Taste of chocolate and malts. Fine beer, but too watery.
3.7Bottle from Brewdog online. Black with tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, malts. Nice bitterness upfront and in the finish, with the other elements making guest appearances. Medium body, quite high carbonation. Nice porter.
3.3Vähän haljuhko porteriksi. Jopa pieni pettymys Brewdogin tuotteeksi. Ei huono, muttei ilmiömäinen.
3.3Bottle. Pours black with a medium brown head. Aromas of coffee, malt, chocolate, bitter roast, a slightly tobacco note to it. Some metallic/rusty notes. Taste is bitter, roasty, chocolate, malt.
3.3Pours dark brown, almost black with a small beige head. Quite intense chocolate aroma with some notes of roasted malt and sweetness. Flavor also has quite strong notes of chocolate, sweet, coffee, light to moderate bitter. Nice
3.95.2%abv. Purchased in BottleDog, Merchant City. Coffee, dark chocolate and sugar aroma, very nice. Black colour and brown head. Light bitterness and chocolate finish. Was expecting a more aggressive palate. Soft carbonation.

3.5Bottle from Brewdog, Brussels. Dark brown/black colour, beige foam. Medium carbonation. Nose of coffee and roasted malts. Bitter finish. Bit thin but easy drinkable.
3.0Drank with Bram at his place 22-10-2015. Mediocre beer. Good smell but taste is very watery. Not something to get psyched about.
3.80.33l bottle from britishstore.hu. Almost black body, dark brown head, looks perfect. Moderate chocolate aromas. Head is very creamy, tastes like fluid bitter chocolate, quite nice. The beer has fairly complex taste, dominated with chocolate, some nuttyness and a bit of roasted malt and some yeasty sourness.. Very mild, creamy and harmonic carbonation and mild but long-lasting bitterish aftertaste. Fairly good piece, the next please!
3.6Dark brown to black colored, medium tan head, good lasting. Aroma is brown sugar, chocolate, strong roasted and ashy notes. Taste is moderate sweet malt, brown sugar, milk chocolate, roasted malt, charcoal, roasted dry bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit creamy.
(bottle, Pivoteka, Zagreb)
2.8Bottle. Dark brown in color with an off-white head. Mild soft roasted notes with some chocolate sweetness in aroma. Mild roasted and bit of green vibes in taste. The greenish notes are a bit too much here.
3.4Very black porter with a nearly white head. Tastes of bitter chocolate and coffee and a slight fruitiness. Lacking a depth of flavour, but still a good beer.
